À l'arrivée, vous vous rendez compte que c'est l'expérience Eastern Shore que vous recherchez ... Un jardin clôturé vous accueille dans ce charmant cottage de Bayside qui a été entièrement rénové pour profiter des vues panoramiques de la baie de Chesapeake. Vous pouvez siroter votre café dans le jardin fermé avec la flore et la faune, attraper votre dîner de crabe de la jetée privée, puis profiter de vos crabes fraîchement cuits à la vapeur sur une table de pique-nique en plein air en regardant un coucher de soleil spectaculaire. Il n'y a pas de meilleure façon de passer une soirée d'été!
Le porche d'écran est le cadre idéal pour siroter une boisson et regarder l'Osprey attraper leur dîner. Les jours plus froids, il y a un coin salon confortable dans la grande salle qui vous offre également de belles vues. Vous pouvez même allumer un feu dans le foyer unique en verre de style européen dans la grande salle. Les salles à manger dans la maison sont nombreuses de la table de café de bord de l'eau, de la salle à manger de porche d'écran, du bar de petit déjeuner ou de la salle à manger formelle, vous choisissez ce qui convient à votre humeur! Préparer un repas ou cuire à la vapeur vos crabes dans la cuisine bien équipée est une expérience formidable.
Il y a aussi un barbecue à gaz disponible pour vous. Quand il est temps de quitter ce petit paradis, vous pouvez vous promener dans le village de Tilghman, explorer le port d'un vrai village d'eau, visiter le musée ou la librairie Nautucal, prendre des glaces au Country Store ou visiter un restaurant local. De nombreuses destinations sont à quelques pas. La propriété est parfaite pour une escapade romantique ou des vacances en famille. Awesome location

Beautiful views of the Chesapeake, from a well constructed and appointed home. In addition to the spacious open plan main area, the outdoor space was expansive and the daily sunsets were magnificent! Interactions with the agent and homeowner were excellent. Clearly a loved home to be enjoyed!

Birthday/ crabbing trip

Property was gorgeous. Dock was amazing. I stay all over the Easter shore and this was probably the nicest house. We crabbed off dock and fished. House had everything you could need.

Perfection on Tilghman's Island

Absolutely beautiful property with the most amazing Chesapeake Bay views. Totally equipped with the best of everything, you can see the bay from almost every window in the house. Very quiet location, short walk to "town" and the Country Store. Beds were top rate as were all the furnishings. We could live here. There are 2 Master Bedrooms (plus a 3rd bedroom) and they are on opposite sides of the house, for added privacy. Would book again with out hesitation.

Sunset Cove getaway

The location and view of the bay and sunsets are outstanding. The interior is also beautiful, especially in the living room and kitchen/ dining room areas. The two bedrooms and baths are very accomodating with great views . The 3rd bedroom/office doesn't have a very comfortable bed-more like a futon , but has a bathroom down the hall. I have stayed here twice now and totally enjoyed my stay both times. Both times, however, I had difficulty operating the TV setup , particularly for Sports unless you choose to sign up for a so called 30 day trial with a Sports network, like FUBO. The new owners are planning to uncomplicate the setup and were in direct communication with us trying to fix the limited access issues. All in all, it is a beautiful, well equipped getaway. Check out Marker Five restaurant for food and drink-just down the road.

Peaceful sunset bay views

We loved the spacious clean house, quiet neighborhood, and the many sunsets we enjoyed from the screen porch. Three suggestions to improve guest experience are to add a passcode lock to eliminate stops in St Michael’s to pick up and drop off the key; get a better mattress/futon and proper bed pillows for the pull-out bed in the study (otherwise it doesn’t really work as a bedroom); and add a serrated bread knife to the otherwise well-stocked kitchen. But those suggestions aside, this was among our best VRBO experiences.

We loved this place!

This was the best VRBO property we have rented so far. It was very clean, well stocked, accurately described and just so very nice. We would highly recommend this house for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation on the Chesapeake Bay. The screened in porch was our favorite location and it was so comfortable for sitting and dining.

Sunset cottage lives up to its name

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at sunset cottage over Thanksgiving week. The home was just as pictured and described. We especially enjoyed the open floor plan for kitchen, dining room and living room. The water view from these spaces was fantastic, and the front garden was a special treat. Sunset cottage was the perfect spot to get away from it all for a few days!

Beautiful spot on the water. House was so well equipped and property manager was responsive for a couple of questions that I had. Comfortable and cozy. The owner left wood for the fireplace! Three bedrooms so we were able to each have our own space. Quite lovely.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

The home was beautiful, comfortable and a welcome respite from a busy time in our life. There are outdoor/ indoor living areas for solitude or you can enjoy each other's company. My husband and I went with our best friends. We have stayed in the area many times over the years but enjoyed being on Tilghman for its uniqueness but proximity to St. Michaels. Property manager very responsive when Internet went down briefly. Highly recommend. We will come back!

Lovely property with all the comforts of home

Easy check in. Beautiful views. Comfortable accommodation. Great kitchen. Private dock. Quiet neighborhood. Two wings separated by living area, one with one bedroom en suite, the other with 2 bedrooms and baths. This suited us perfectly (grandparents with married couple and grandchild). Fishing and crabbing was not very good off the dock. The water is quite shallow and the channel is a way off. We did not try at night. Also, the kayaks do not have an easy in-out launch.

Fantastic stay!

This property was amazing! A perfect setting for a family getaway. The kids closet was packed with all kinds of fun things for kids, the yard and dock provided hours of play and fun in the fresh air. The house itself is GORGEOUS, clean and well stocked. All of the beds were very comfortable. The manager Lexi was amazing and super easy and friendly to work with. We will he back!

Sunset Cove

Beautiful property inside and out. Gorgeous sunsets from your deck. We all loved the layout and furnishings. Only negative is in 1 guest bedroom there is an uncomfortable and unattractive trundle bed. Also, we had difficulty figuring out operation of TV, directions inaccurate-had to have someone come over and reconnect sound and change operating directions.

Beautiful, quiet property -- perfect for a getaway!

We spent 10 glorious days and enjoyed every minute (despite some high temperatures!). There are wonderful spots to kick back and relax including the screened in porch, the patio with wooden chairs, and the little reading nook in the back of the living area. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock and catching the fresh breezes in the morning and evening hours. My wife loved reading down there and I spent much time with the binoculars checking out all of the passing ships. Only (minor) issue was the internet service dropping intermittently; however, the hosts provided good instructions on how to re-boot the system which worked each time we had to reboot. Also worthy of comment was the good quality of the beds -- an often overlooked but critically imporant compoment for an extended stay. All of the appliances were modern and in good working order and the place was immaculately clean upon our arrival. We would not hesitate to stay her in the future (and plan to!).

Fantastic views, lovely home

We stayed at this beautiful, spacious home for my niece's wedding at the near-by Wylder Inn. Our group was two sisters and their spouses, plus an adult cousin. The property is private, with lovely landscaping, plenty of hangout spaces for everyone, and a well-stocked kitchen. Most rooms have spectacular bay views. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful location and lovely home

This is a spectacular home on the Bay. Everything is first rate and our stay was wonderful. We were delighted by the layout of the house, it was perfect for our family. Lovely artwork adorns the walls and gives a great sense of style.

On the Bay in a French Cottage

Wonderfully large and immaculate cottage entered through a gated private garden. On opening the substantial wooden front door you are greeted by a wall of windows in the great room and high end kitchen providing an unobstructed view of the bay towards North Beach 10.5 miles to the west. Between Poplar Island to the North and the cottage lays the channel into Knapps Narrows through we watched watermen coming and going. The owner, Brenda, was extremely accommodating and worked tirelessly to get the quirky internet connection fixed. We will be returning to this very comfortable and beautiful cottage. The only issue, if you are chefs, as are we: is that the very fine kitchen was missing a knife sharpener. We loved the place.
