New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Welcome to the beach house of your dreams! This beauty has good concrete parking, a carport, an under-house entry, a stair tamer package lift, and a very cool screened porch with a therapeutic hot tub. Brand new upgrades to this home include a new pool table, arcade game, and Playstation for the entire family's entertainment.

Enter into the good-sized game room with a full bathroom, the pool table, and a full wet bar. Head up to the second level to find the first suite with a full bathroom and a nearby laundry area. The large second bedroom shares a bathroom with the third bedroom, which enjoys access to the east deck. Enjoy a furnished den with an entertainment center, and live large in the third-level great room with tall ceilings, a half-bath, plush resort furnishings, and an entertainment center. A nicely equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar opens to a comfortable dining area, and is always open for hungry appetites. Your time spent in the kitchen is made all the easier with a new air fryer, crockpot, blenders, and Keurig.

Rest comfortably in the fourth bedroom, a large king suite with a private bathroom. Three stories of decks catch every view and the plentiful rays of the sun. Resisting vacation Temptation is futile!
New for 2026, a new range was installed competed with an Air fryer option for your enjoyment

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email.
Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.
The fireplace is not operational.

It was vey nice. The tree beside drive needs to be trimmed up so you can get on the road safely. Other than that it was a great stay.

Only drawback was location based, not house based, being located on route 12 was a bit noisey, but it was a short 1 block walk to the beach, which in my opinion made up for it, would definitely rent it again

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Temptation. It’s a beautiful home that’s welcoming, comfortable, clean and close to beaches for shelling and exploring. There were plenty of historic sites, great restaurants and shopping nearby. I really enjoyed my relaxing week and I look forward to returning again!

OBX Family vacation

We had a great stay for our first time visiting the outer banks. The weather cooperated, the home was perfect and we were very grateful for the cargo lift on the side of the house as the kitchen was on the 3rd floor. We would definitely rent this home again.

Great place right on the highway

Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again.

Great home!

This home was great! It was clean and the large kitchen was awesome for our group of 10. It is well stocked with dishes and cooking pots and pans. We loved the video game machine. It was a short walk to the beach. Check in was simple. We would stay here again.

Couples Trip 2024

We all really enjoyed the home. Located near restaurants and shopping. Beach was across the road and took about 10 minutes to get to the ocean. I suggest bringing a jeep or truck like we did and drive to a beach access. Other than that home was very clean, plenty of bathrooms and great spots to hangout. We enjoyed the game room, hottub and balconies.

Home away from home

Loved this house! Everything was so organized and clean it was awesome. Our kids loved the game room and the hot tub was perfect for adult winding down time. Access to the beach was great. Very cozy home. I loved that they literally supply you with everything you need to enjoy your vacation comfortably. I would definitely book this home again for future stays

Awesome house for a family of 6

We really enjoyed our stay. Great house to chill and be comfortable in after being on the water. We went to and from beach several times a day. We loved how easy it was to get to the water. The beach is beautiful and you don't feel crowded by people at all. Easy to maintain social distancing.

Making Memories

Our goal was to make memories and to have a quiet, relaxing time. The Temptation gave us all of this. A beautiful home and when it wasn't raining from the top deck we got a peak at the Sound and the Ocean. Great house and gave us all the accommodations we could need! Would highly recommend!

Comfort and Beauty!

Everything was great about this house for us. It was very spacious with a downstairs hot tub/pool table and a second floor space that allowed for my husband to work a bit too. The top floor had a great open concept and nice kitchen/dining table. We really liked watching the stars on the top deck at night - plenty of seating for all of us. The house was very close to the beach. We simply had to cross the street and that took us to the beach path (5 min walk). We were able to do an early morning walk and then go back again with chairs later. There were a few good restaurants but Pangea was a favorite. Avon is a beautiful place for a vacation!

Nice house, not really VRBO

The house is great. The map is slightly misleading, as the house is on hwy 12. My biggest issue is that we had to work with a realty company. I use VRBO for the ease and informality. This wasn’t really either. Had to check in at their office before they would tell me the address of the house. Had to pay more fees (like early check in because their regular check in is 5pm). They were nice, just not what I use this site for.

Needs hot tub cover replaced

Everything about this home was awesome except just one issue. The hot tub cover really needs to be replaced!!! It's so waterlogged!!! This makes it extremely heavy! It was all my husband and I could do to get the cover off, enjoy the tub and then picking up a cover that probably weighed close to 90+ pounds back on the tub!!! Please replace the cover ... It's not hard to do!! Other than that, the entire week was amazing!!

I was so excited to stay here and was immediately let down upon entering. The first floor had sand on it. The enclosed hot tub porch area had a wet dirty rug and needed swept. The pool table hadn't been cleaned and had sticky on the edges. The second floor had the smallest bathrooms. The bathrooms needed a better cleaning as the toilet areas smelled like urine. The toilet seats need replaced as they have crusted dirt and who knows what stuck on the hinges. Found hair in the tub. The queen bed needs a new mattress as we kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The third floor 1/2 bath smelled like urine as well. The kitchen was clean enough except for no trash bag in the trash can. Living area was fine and I loved the blue beach theme. Also there were filled buckets with sand and cigarette butts on every porch, even though there wasn't supposed to be smoking on the property at all. Broken door handle to the upper porch. Not enough wash cloths and towels for 8 people either. The bathroom drain in the 2nd floor queen bedroom was plugged and took forever to drain. I expect a home to be thoroughly cleaned and plumbing issues, etc, to be taken care of when renting for a week. Especially at the price charged. I don't think I should have to sweep the downstairs when first moving in. You need to do a better job of hiring your cleaning staff and handyman Vacasa. Will NEVER rent anything from you again. And also it took 3 days to address our issues. Terrible service. Will be preparing for a review on Trip Advisor and any other forum.
