Get ready for the getaway of a lifetime and a chance to observe natural beauty in its own environment! Sun Spec is located in gorgeous Salvo and is the perfect place to bring your family and friends together! A living room with a 55 inch Apple TV, dining room, and kitchen combination make for a fun and enjoyable family night and meals.. For those wishing to see a little more of what nature has to offer, eat breakfast on the covered and furnished deck while the sun rises over the Atlantic Ocean, or walk a few steps away, beachside, feeling the sand in your toes and the salt air in your hair. As your day winds down, cook dinner on the barbecue provided and watch as the kids and their friends play downstairs. Other amenities include a TV, a VCR, a DVD player, a stereo/CD player, high-speed WiFi for your devices, and a concrete drive. So pack your bags and travel to this three-bedroom, one of which is a primary bedroom, two-bathroom home away from home, where the sunrises and sunsets are complimentary, and the fun is mandatory!

THINGS TO KNOW
Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility, located at the Avon office address: 41156 Hwy 12, Avon, NC 27915. The pool is generally open from May 24 to September 8, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Please note that the operation of community pools is subject to the discretion of the state inspector, management, and/or the HOA. As a result, the availability schedule may change without prior notice.

We booked through Vrbo, which made things a little easier. While it wasn’t ocean view, which was expected, it was definitely in a great location with all of the amenities and things we needed. Would definitely go through this company or book this house again.

Fantastic!

Perfect vacation spot for relaxing and enjoying time together. The porch is awesome for morning coffee and afternoon siestas. Trees around the house make it feel more secluded, but only a short walk to the beach and a bike ride to anything you need. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to vacation. Will definitely be back!

Great Seaside Hideaway

My family loved our week at Sea Spec. The house is clean and comfortable, with a perfect blend of privacy and easy beach access. Nestled among trees, the location provided surprising peace and quiet, while only one block from the crashing waves. We all enjoyed the puzzles and games, and slept really well. Thank you!

Perfect holiday getaway

Spent Thanksgiving break here. Kitchen was great for preparing huge Thanksgiving meal. Plenty of room. Short walk to beach. Easy drive to Wright Brothers site north and ferry to Ocracoke south. Absolutely perfect!

Great House!

Our family stayed there for a week and it was just what we needed! Perfect size, great location, quiet neighborhood, close to beach access (which fyi, is quite a hike once you get to the access path and dune), and even a little sense of seclusion with the trees on the property! We will definitely book again if we stay in Salvo in the future! We also wrote in the notebook near the door :)

Vacation in Salvo

The house was quaint and exactly as described. We were in a quiet residential neighborhood, exactly as we wanted. We could tell the house had been owned by a family and found a journal to leave a message about our stay. I was able to hear the ocean. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

A short Spring break for us Pittsburger but we loved it. The house so homey and with everything you need! And of course the beach, the ocean, theOBX! We loved it ! Very homey and lot of light, perfect location.

Good stay!!

The beds were comfy, cozy house, good neighborhood. The house was very nicely cleaned. The only problem was the master shower won't drain, hallway bath has bad water pressure. This bnb didn't provide coffee, sugar,creamer,snacks like other bnbs do. But overall a good place to stay.

The fact that 4 of the bedrooms had private baths, the furnishings, the kitchen utensils, and the ease of parking 5 trucks made this an easy choice.
