Tucked away on the sound side in Avon Village, this spacious home is an excellent option for beachgoers! Centrally located on Hatteras Island, this classic charmer is just a short walk from ocean beaches and minutes from restaurants, unique boutiques, and coffee shops!

Inside this home, you'll find an open floor plan with a vaulted ceiling, a well-equipped, eat-in kitchen with a table, chairs, and a built-in desk, and a sunlit living area with comfortable seating and a TV for streaming your favorite channels. Plus, each bedroom includes a smart TV. Enjoy the sunshine and sea breezes on your deck while the kids run and play in the large yard.

This home also includes two paddleboards, central air-conditioning and heating, and a private washer/dryer to help you keep those swimsuits bright and clean.

Lovely beach experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Outer Banks. The cottage is clean and filled with natural light. Easy access to the beach. We all had a wonderful time!

Perfect for Our Needs

Property was clean, everything worked properly, beds were comfortable, neighbors were quiet. The outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. It’s very much as advertised. Beach is a short walk across Hwy 12.

Not quite as picturesque

I knew the place was going to be a cozy beach house, and honestly, there’s some nice things about it on the outside. When you walk in, it smells horribly- musty, even an aged smell of multiple dated things in the home. It was the first and consistent thing we noticed about the place, how awful it smelled. Poor Service

The house was okay. There was an issue with the plumbing in the bathroom which I reported on the first day. Vacasa said they would come fix it. They never did.
