A little time on Hatteras Island might be just the Attitude Adjustment you need! Located just three lots from the ocean in Avon, this welcoming 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath beach cottage offers beautiful ocean and sound views, plenty of room to unwind, and easy access to the beach.

Inside, you'll find a spacious and comfortable living area with charming beamed ceilings, inviting furnishings, and plenty of room for the whole family to gather. The well-equipped kitchen makes preparing vacation meals easy, while the convenient wet bar with a mini fridge is perfect for keeping your favorite refreshments close by. For a quieter moment, retreat to the bright and airy sunroom to relax with a good book or simply enjoy the coastal atmosphere.

Step outside and discover some of the home's best features! With multiple levels of furnished decks, there's always a place to soak up the sunshine, catch the ocean breeze, or take in the beautiful views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee at sunrise or watching the colors of the evening sky, these outdoor spaces are sure to become a favorite part of your stay.

When you're ready for the beach, a short walk through the neighborhood leads to the nearby beach access. After a day of surfing, fishing, or exploring the island, rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower and store your beach gear, boards, or kayaks in the convenient lockable storage area. Guests can also enjoy seasonal access to the Club Hatteras community pool, offering another way to cool off during your stay.

Community Amenities: The Club Hatteras Community Pool and Playground are located at 41156 NC Hwy 12 Avon, NC 27915. The pool is generally open seasonally. Please note that the operation of community pool dates and times may vary dependent on weather and pool management companies.

Around Avon Village: There's plenty to enjoy beyond the beach! Grab fresh local seafood, browse locally owned shops, or cast a line from the historic Avon Fishing Pier. Outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of nearby ORV beach access ramps or head to the Haulover Day Use Area for easy sound access, watersports, and beautiful views across the Pamlico Sound.

Beach Access: Just a short walk from the house! Located at 39228 Nova Drive, Attitude Adjustment is approximately 500–750 feet from the beach. A nearby neighborhood beach access pathway and boardwalk provide a route toward the ocean, with sandy sections along the way. Guests should be prepared to walk through sand when accessing the beach.
