New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

This second-floor, end condo with great views of tennis courts and pools has been appointed with everything you need to experience an unforgettable stay! This condo offers three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and is located on the sound side. The living area has a flatscreen TV, a DVD, and offers access to a screened porch. Other amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, wet bar, washer and dryer, and free WiFi. Complex amenities include an elevator, two outdoor swimming pools on the ocean side, a Junior Olympic size pool on the sound side, day dock, and tennis courts, for guest use as a thank you from the owner for staying.

Nice place needs a little updating. A few problems when we got there but management handled. Easy access to beach with short walk. All in all was good.

Great and convenient.

This condo was in a great location. Located close to a lot of activities. Area was nice and quiet. We had everything we needed to last us the weekend. Check-in and check out was easy. We had a great view of the ocean front the front balcony. Would stay again.

Great stay!

The condo is a bit older and could use some updates, but we feel like the value of the stay for the price was wonderful. Close to the beach, centrally located and close driving distance to anything on the island. Super easy check in and check out! Washer and dryer, easy parking, great kitchen amenities. We loved that there were 2.5 bathrooms for 3 rooms! If you’re looking for high end, this isn’t it. But if you’re poking for cute, easy, cozy, and great value, you won’t be disappointed.

The most important thing to me was cleanliness of the property. We were not disappointed! It was a nice surprise to see how clean and welcoming the condo appeared. The washing machine did break down mid cycle. The property manager was very responsive and did their to manage the situation.

Beach Condo had plenty of room for 6 people

The condo had enough room for a family of 6. It is across the street from the beach and not oceanfront like the sister property so it was too far to walk with little ones. Vacasa was a wonderful company to rent from and we will inquire about their services again!

The place was very quaint and clean. Nice set up and enough space. You could see the water from the front balcony. The living room and master bedroom both had balconies. Also, washer and dryer jn the unit was great!

Secret Getaway

Love staying at this location on the sound side. We were basically the only folks at this beautiful, convenient location. Thought I would not like the carpet but actually loved it! Island Beach and Racquet Club is my family’s #1 go to place. Never disappointed, has everything we enjoy: beach, pool, tennis courts, sound side pier, restaurants, ice cream, dollar general literally right beside the club. We will be back!

Enjoyed our atay

We really enjoyed our room. All of the Amenities made it feel like home. It was extremely clean as well. The only issue I had is that the pool was inoperable during our whole week stay and I was never told that. We still had access to the other pool but it was across the street and with a 1 year old that made it a little more challenging but the room inaelf was very nice

Loved everything about this rental! The condo was clean and supplied with everything we needed for the week. Plenty of room for our group of 5.. felt like we were the only ones in the complex for most of the week and when the owners of the other condos arrived they were very sweet neighbors! The walk to the beach was great for our group of adults and teens, it could pose a bit of a challenge for a group with littles. The pool was wonderful and they were in the process of remodeling the pickleball courts! All in all, the entire complex is beautiful and it’s in a great location on the island! Vacasa’s customer service is in a class of its own, check in/out was an absolute breeze! Thank you for a 100% stress free week! We will most definitely be returning!

A Wonderful Retreat!

We loved the overall location and specially the actual position of the condo being second floor and end unit. It was quiet and had great views. The unit was bright and cheerful, supplied with plenty of towels and decorated with lots to remind you that this is "My Happy Place at the Beach." The washer and dryer were an added bonus, the beds very comfortable and it is so convenient for the beach, grocery shopping and great restaurants! The Vacasa staff are unmatched! No matter who you speak to, they are courteous, friendly and all about making sure your stay is the best ever! Nothing is too much trouble for them! We had the best time and with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, we found the condo to be well proportioned and suitable for anyone looking for a family up to eight people or, like us - just a couple's vacation.

Nice location, but needs updated

We overall had a great time at Island Beach and Racquet Club. The walking distance to the pool and beach and other amenities was great at this condo. It is the closest to the stairs, but the furthest from the elevator. This was not an issue to us as our family is relatively young. We liked using the stairs. We had a nice view of the tennis courts from our windows. This condo did have some issues though. We vacationed at Island Beach and Racquet Club when I was a kid and this home looked pretty much like how I remember the condos back then. The kitchen appliances look from that era and need updating. The price is the same as other condos that are newly renovated. There is not an ice maker, so be prepared to buy bags of ice. The cleaning staff did not adequately clean before we arrived, so we had to run to Dollar General to get supplies and reclean to feel comfortable. If updates are not an issue for you and you do not mind carpet, then you will be fine here. The beach was wonderful and we loved having pickleball! In fact, our family had a pickleball tournament with our group of 41.

The condo was very clean when we arrived. The three bathroom and three bedrooms were appreciated as we had four adults and two children. It was very centrally located, easy walk to the beach, pool was nice, elevator was appreciated by some of the older folk, washer and dryer available for wet towels and suites was a plus, linens and towels were clean and soaps, shampoos and such were provided and new. The condo floors and walls seemed recently updated with new flooring and paint. The kitchen and bathroom fixtures were a bit dated. The listing said it had a gourmet kitchen and a flat screen tv. The kitchen was not gourmet (dull knives and limited sizes of cookware) and the flat screen tv was maybe 21". The condo did need some maintenance care; one of the toilets was wobbly, the top heating element in the oven was not affixed tight and hanging 4-6 inches from the top and thus resulted in a burn while putting a dish into the heated oven, some fixtures were loose in bathrooms and hallway, and patio and screen door locks were corroded and not working properly. Also I was given a price and said included all fees and then when booked paid and extra 130 (this may be a VRBO issue) The receipt shows tax listed under host fees and tax again as added to quoted fee.
