Cette maison de vacances Hill Country de 5 chambres / 4 salles de bains - sur 12 hectares isolés - est parfaite pour les grands groupes, avec une occupation maximale de 12 personnes. Notre retraite en pierre et cèdre avec des carreaux Saltillo et des planchers de noix de pécan est située au cœur du pays du vin, des brasseries, des lieux de mariage, de la musique live, des bars de plongée, des magasins et même d'un restaurant barbecue de renommée mondiale. Idéalement situé, nous sommes à 12 miles de l'historique Wimberley, à 13 miles de Dripping Springs, à 11 miles de la I-35 (à la sortie de Kyle, TX) et à 29 miles d'Austin. (Ne manquez pas le magasin Hays City - à 1,6 km - avec une excellente cuisine de confort, un bar complet et de la musique live. Les meilleures crevettes frites de tous les temps.)

Our travel group relies heavily on reviews before choosing our annual rental, so I wanted to leave an honest and transparent review. We celebrated our annual end of summer and birthday at this property and had a really nice time. The pros are the backyard pool, the birds playing in the waterfall, the hot tub, lawn care, and game room house. We tried to spend as much time in those areas as possible.Room for improvement would be the warm/hot water in the showers. We were not able to get more than 5 minutes of warm/hot water at a time in any shower and there were 6 of us (3 women) in our group, so no full showers, no hair washing/leg shaving for 3 nights as the water got cold quickly. We were not able to use the primary upstairs shower due to the shower head being caked with calcium (easy 10 replacement fix). We noticed a potent foul smell coming from the dining areas and realized it was the nearby laundry room. We did our best to spray home scents and we lit 2 fragrance candles morning to night that we brought. The mosquitos were constant, so we did our best with bug spray that we brought and some bug spray was provided. We noticed there was an unused sink in the courtyard in between the kitchen and game room house that was full of stagnant water, mosquitoes and mosquito larvae. A flying roach found its way into the kitchen in the game room one evening.Bring our own pots and pans as most are worn, & blender doesn’t work. No keurig as pictured. Made awesome memories!

Nice house

Had girls family trip here. Close to Wimberly. Nice house. Check in process easy - keys in lockbox. Clean pool and hot tub. Pool lights up different colors at night which was awesome. Entertainment room separate from house (enter from door leaving kitchen) was really nice as a hang out place. Rooms were nice. Too bad it was hot and sunny, would have been nice to sleep in room with day bed. Bed itself very comfy. We did not realize there was a pathway to a fire pit, so def check it out. Restrooms and kitchen area a bit small, but overall nice place.

A Great Relaxing Getaway

My family and I stayed here to getaway for the weekend. We loved the scenery and we loved how roomy the house was. It was a really nice house. A big plus was the hot tub, swimming pool and the game room. The only thing is that we couldn't use the sun room because it was extremely hot in there. It would perfect to use in the fall and winter. We had an amazing time with our family at this house and we would definitely like to come back to this house again. Plus the owner was super friendly and helpful.

Awesome Place!

Everything was perfect! There were 10 adults and we spent 2 full days here (not including arrival day and departure day). We almost never left the house, had no reason to! Pool and hot tub were clean and functional, grill and fire pit were great, and we spent most of our time outside or in the game room, which was also fantastic! Everything we needed plus extras. Close to popular locations, Wimberely Days were happening, and plenty of wineries nearby if someone wanted to go. We never needed to contact the property manager for anything. I give this place a FULL 5 stars on everything.

Just as Described

Sometimes VRBO’s are often described a little less accurate. This property was even more than expected. It was perfect. A place large enough for 9. The Game Room was the g-kids’ favorite place and the pool/hot tub did not disappoint. We VRBO Twice or three times a year. This was all of ours #1 - Favorite.

Wedding attendance

This property was perfect for our family. The hot tub, ping pong table, and complete game room were enjoyed by all. The painted concrete and tile flooring was greatly appreciated as we were not so concerned if our 5 year old twins spilled something. The privacy of each bedroom was nice. In the summer we would also enjoy the pool. Great time was had by all as we celebrated our grandson’s wedding in Dripping Springs.

Loved It!

We rented this property back in December to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from TXST as a family. Beautiful area, beautiful property, and beautiful home! Excellent communication leading up to check-in. I wish I had known the sun room had no option for air to go to it at all. It’s included in the “sleeps 12” and gets pretty hot - even in December - which resulted in us having to leave our bedroom door open with a fan pointing in there to push in cool air for my 16 year old daughter. Had some bath/shower water issues during our stay as well, but overall, I’m sure they have been resolved and I’d definitely book again!

What a special weekend

A get together with college friends was extra special because of this amazing place. We relaxed and stayed in the pool all weekend while catching up with each other. There was so much room in the house, and we were able to spread out. The game room was such a fun addition to the weekend. If you are looking for a great getaway in the Hill Country, do not hesitate to book this property. You won’t be dissatisfied.

Fun & Funky

Stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. Worked out great for us & our guests. Couple of repairs are needed, including fixing the frig door that does not close very well. Also discovered a bee nest above the patio door that needs to be reviewed. Needed bath hand towels & additional hand soap plus a few light bulbs need replacing, but if you’re picky you might not enjoy it as much as we did

Fantastic Family Getaway

We stayed at this property with my husband's siblings and their families as a COVID getaway. It was an amazing trip. They layout of bedrooms worked extremely well for the group and the adults and children both enjoyed all of the entertainment options that the house had to offer (game room, lounge space, pool, hot-tub, outdoor games). I have already recommended to several families and hope to be able to return.

Great amenities but minimal linens

The property itself with the pool and game room was great. Had to go purchase wash cloths (ones provided were gross), dish cloths, hand towels & blankets (none provided). Beds had sheets and bedspreads only. May also want to post sprinkler schedule. We (and our phones) got a little wet when they went off without warning. No place is perfect. As I said earlier, we really enjoyed the property and amenities.

Family Fun

We enjoyed our time with family and the property was clean and safe. The only negative was that the house isn’t kid friendly. There are too many small steps that can be dangerous and the pool doesn’t have a shallow end. Next time it will be adults only!

High Quality Men's Retreat

The property just hosted 5 men in our early 50's, and all of us found the property to be a perfect fit. The game room, jacuzzi/pool and lawn area for corn hole provided an ideal retreat that kept us engaged/entertained from start to finish. We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish and found the accommodations to be attractive enough for us to rarely consider leaving the property (though the Salt Lick BBQ is well worth the short trip). Comfortable common/dining/entertaining areas that frequently found us lounging in all of the areas for lengthy periods of time. We'll certainly have the property at the top of our list should we return to the area. Thank you Escondido Ranch,

We want to make it an annual trip!

My girlfriends and I rented this house for one of our friend's wedding and we loved it. Most of us are married now and a few of us even have small children. Each couple/ family had their own room. The house has plenty of room and space so it felt like everyone had their own privacy, but it was nice being so close. There were so many fun activities between the game room, pool and outside lawn games. While we were there we already started discussing a weekend to come back next year. This house is so fun- we will definitely be back.

Great place / great host!

The host was incredible. Extremely accommodating. Property was clean and well taken care of. The managment company isn’t great. They made us come into the office even though the key to the house was a lockbox at the house. They also took a long time to call us back when we needed something. We just interacted with the host the rest of the time. He was great! Can’t say enough good things about him. He’s the owner of the home. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
