Host was very attentive and quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns prior to our stay No issues so did not have to contact him during our stay The home was a great space to have all of us attending graduation to stay in and come together to celebrate AC and heating were great since we used both back to back would definitely stay again … dirt road off hwy to get to house a little bumpy

We had 4 families, plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably. Beautiful outdoors, quiet and peaceful! Not to far from town , our host stayed in touch about check-in and checkout and responded very quickly to any questions we had!

Plethora of: Parking, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Bath Towels, and plenty of space for a group of 16. Home away from home staycation!

Where do I even begin? This property has a plethora of parking and space for a group up to 16 people. It is highly recommended for big groups who are planning to go floating as the Lions Club float is only 11 minutes away. It is also recommended for family reunions, graduation, a home away from home staycation! There was 11+ beds along with a pull out couch. You can even bring your own blow up mattresses and there was plenty of space in the rooms to have additional sleeping arrangements. The place was kept very cool with the fan and AC going at all times. There was enough toilet paper and paper towels to last your group for a whole week! Plenty of bath towels for a party of 16. We loved that there was enough space in the home for a group gathering but also space for those who wanted to decompress and recharge. We encourage everyone who is looking for a remote place to book here. We spent evenings out in the gazebo just singing and dancing with our friends and catching up and telling stories about our lives. This was the perfect place to get together. The owner Chris, was always prompt to respond and if you ever needed anything, he was just a text away. We are looking forward to staying here again!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this rental might be a problem. The back door was unlocked, which immediately made us feel unsafe. When we contacted Chris about this, he brushed it off, attributing it to his cleaning service and assuring us it was a safe neighborhood. That's not the point.The house itself was disappointing and potentially unsafe. The basement, where the pool table is located, smelled strongly of mildew, which is a serious health concern. Despite this, the house layout is pretty cool. The kitchen was dirty and disorganized, with expired seasonings dating back to 2020! The bed linens was okay. To top it off, I was bitten by a scorpion while sitting on the couch & found a dead one in the ceiling lights which we are not blaming the host but it adds to how unkept the place is. We keep the doors close when entering and exiting too but there is still little critters everywhere.The bathrooms were also in terrible condition. Shower heads in 1 out of 4 showers didn't work, another one didn’t work fully, there was visible mold in one of the showers, and the water pressure was pretty bad.The overall state of the house was shoddy, with duct tape used as a quick fix all over the place: on the stairs, on a small step leading up from the basement, in two of the rooms, and even on the blinds. Most of the blinds are broken. The fire pit outside was a good touch, though. Overall, this was not a great experience and would not rent this house again.
