Easy walk to beach, top floor, dog friendly

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2077 is a top floor Beach Wood unit. We chose this unit for its proximity to the beach and the fact that it was dog friendly. This unit has great light given the top floor end of building configuration. Otherwise it is just like most other units in Beach Wood. The only issue we had was a slow draining shower in the master, but it was not enough of an issue to deal with maintenance. Furniture is basic, beds comfortable, kitchen equipped for basic cooking-- we spend most of our time on the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is overall pretty clean. Entry way and living area was updated and clean. Carpet in Master and secondary bedroom needs to be replaced. The carpet in secondary bedroom had strong pet urine odor and needs to be cleaned with carpet cleaning service. Overall unit met our needs pool is covered up by trees and pool needed cleaning to remove tree debris. We didn't use the secondary bath/shower combo, only utilized to rinse sand off of feet. Secondary bath/shower was dirty and needed hardware replaced.

Great location but unit is a bit tired.

Pros: Location is great- beach access path is across the street and the Omni Resort neighborhood is pretty quiet; the unit is spacious; there is new furniture in the master bedroom, a new kitchen sink and new tile floors. The unit was nice and clean when we arrived. If you have children, there were some games/puzzles and beach toys. Internet and TV worked fine (although no cable- just Roku.) Cons: The building and the unit are simply tired. All the kitchen and bath cabinetry need replacing. The bathrooms are dated (and the plumbing moves in the master bath shower and the sink barely drains.) The kitchen appliances are also functional but old. Same for the furniture and decor other than in the master. If you have any mobility issues, this is not the place for you- 10 or so stairs to get to the elevator to the 4th floor unit (no ramp) and many, many more stairs to access the pool area. Although other renters mentioned beach chairs- there was only one chair available, and it wasn’t in great shape. In sum, the owners have made some updates but many more are needed. However, they can be overlooked if you are interested primarily in the beautiful beach.

It took us a while to find the unit as it is not visible and on the 4th floor. The only thing we noticed is that the tub faucet in the hall bath makes a squeeling noise as though the pressure is not set right or the cartridge needs to be replaced. Otherwise, very nice!

Fantastic Time

We loved everything about this property. The weather didn’t really work in our favor and we were completely comfortable just hanging on the patio area and in the open living room. Would highly recommend this property and we will be renting here again.

Long Family Weekend

Great location! Fourth floor condo w/elevator. Short, beautiful walk to beach and pool. Beach chairs, beach wagon, umbrellas, etc were all much appreciated! Apartment had everything our family of four could want. NFLX, Disney+ access on tv was great for the long weekend. Apartment’s living area was spacious and comfortable. Comfortable beds as well. Bathrooms a little tired, but we were fine with it. Plates/glassware were plastic, so great for us and our kids but nothing fancy there. We had a wonderful stay.

Beach Retreat

This was our second time staying in this area and this was a great place to stay. The newer TV let us access Netflix and Disney plus, which is great for kids to wind down after the beach. They had beach toys and boards in a closet...clean white towels and linens...and a more modern couch and dining room set. The pool and nearby outdoor shower were great as well. The beach access is a nice walk and it was never too crowded. We got everything we needed at a nearby Publix so we could still stay mostly self-isolated while being on vacation (COVID precaution). My only ‘want’ would be to have a Keurig instead of or in addition to an older coffee maker. We had a great time!

Loved the place so much that we decided to make Fernandina beach, our permanent home! The condos are beautiful Inside and well-equipped. The staff is very attentive to your needs and the best part the beach is right across the way in walking distance! The shops are lovely. Cafe Burrette iis Wonderful. The food is delicious. The cappuccinos are Awesome. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend losing Amelia rentals to serve all your needs in the future for a vacation, weekend getaway or a winter snowbird experience!
