Ce chalet de plage est une maison de 3 chambres, 3 salles de bain avec une piscine privée est l'escapade parfaite à la plage! Profitez des plages de sucre blanc et des eaux émeraude à seulement un pâté de maisons et demi, promenez-vous le long de la grande piste cyclable pittoresque ou planifiez le barbecue en famille sur votre grande terrasse de 12 x 18 pi donnant sur la piscine privée. La communauté offre également une grande piscine communautaire, qui est chauffée certains mois d'hiver, ainsi que deux courts de tennis et un terrain de volleyball de sable!

Exactly what we needed!

Beautiful home, close to beach, perfect for our family of seven. Having a pool at house was nice for when we wanted to be at home. Golf cart was fun to drive to beach and to dinner. Would love to come back and stay here in the future.

Beach !

The house was in a good location, close walk to the beach, golf cart was amazing driving around. Pool was nice but needs some work, house could have been cleaner, but over all I give it a 8/10.

Lovely Place in Destin

Our family had an amazing time. Enough room for us to spread out and enjoy the pool. The golf cart was awesome and saved us with easy parking multiple times with the beach and beachside restaurants!

Everything was great. Nice, clean house. Family enjoyed the pool and the golf cart. Parking was a little tight for two vehicles but overall a great place. We would definitely stay again.

Beach vacation

This was the best vacation!!! My adult children with a spouse and 6 month old baby stayed here and we loved it. Easy checkin…. All was spotless. We loved having our own pool. Jessica was the best host. She answered all my questions quickly. Beds were comfy and we all slept so well at night. Definitely thinking about a return trip next summer!!! Carla K

Beach

Property is in need of many repairs. The house was dirty. I had to mop all the floors. The kitchen is tiny and no where to store your groceries. The Golf Cart seat was broken from rust. The front door lock would open, but wouldn't lock from the outside. We had to use the side door all week. We were disappointed at the condition of the house.

The good & the bad

Golf cart wasnt in the best of shape breaks hardly work, 2tvs didnt work in the bedrooms, there is mold in upstairs bathroom, bugs, the gril was left dirty and didnt work! The kitchen doesnt have vent system for cooking so when using the stove it will get smoky in the kitchen. Someone shoved paper towels in the vents in master bedroom. The good- it accommodated 5 people and 1 pet. Everything worked as should but the 2 tvs. Easy accsess to the beach.

Nice home but needs a few upgrades

We absolutely had a great time. We would do it again. Loved the house but it is NOT a 4 bedroom. The bedroom on the ground floor doesn’t get cool. The AC can’t cool it down. My husband stay home about 6 hours waiting for someone to come and fix the golf cart. He is a mechanic so he decided to take a look at it after waiting. He fixed it but its going to keep happening. The house is close to the beach and we loved that!

Ohio family Fun

Destin is beautiful and the neighborhood where the house is located is perfect. The walk to the ocean was very short. The golf cart (is rusted in the back, so is really a 4 seat not a 6 seat) but perfect for us as we traveled with 4. The area is perfect to travel and get everything you will need with the golf cart. The house is beautiful. Thanks for letting us use your home. One thing that would be nice is a few beach chairs and an umbrella for the ocean (as a wish list), but overall we had all that we needed. thanks again from Ohio

Best Florida vacation

The house had everything and something for everyone pool, walking to beach, lots of restaurants and so much to do and see we only had 7 days. We should of spent 2 weeks . Plenty of room for us all there we’re board games and puzzles. Backyard was great had fenced in yard for our dog. Deck had grill and big enough for us all. Pool was clean and not heated but the weather was warm enough for us to use. I will be back to this beautiful home Thanks for having us Karen from upper Michigan

Horrible Stay – Neglected Property and Incompetent Management

Our stay was a disaster from start to finish. The house was infested with roaches, the master bathroom leaked into the kitchen below, and the second upstairs bathroom was unusable due to dog hair clogging the drain. The pool was dirty, the golf cart was rusted and non-functional, and even the towel bar fell off when touched. The entire property is in a state of neglect and desperately needs repairs. Basic amenities were completely missing—no soap, shower gel, dishwasher soap, or even salt and pepper. We had to make a grocery run just to take a shower. There were no extra blankets to deal with the freezing temperatures downstairs, caused by the thermostat being located upstairs. The TV remotes didn’t work initially because they were missing batteries and battery covers. The check-in and check-out process was equally frustrating. The instructions didn’t match what was listed in the house versus the website. We waited 30 minutes outside just to get in the house. Because the code was changed and we were never informed.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay at Tuscan Sun in Destin. Comfortable home for three people. The deck and pool area are really nice for the morning hours. You can easily walk to the beach and the golf cart is handy for quick trips. Cleanliness was overall good, but found two dead roaches and some children's toys under different beds. The bathrooms are on the small side. The kitchen is lacking in dish towels, so bring your own if you don't want to be washing them all the time. Property manager was quick to respond to questions. Would recommend.

Highly Recommend

The house was clean and fresh smelling upon arrival and was available earlier than check in which was great for multiple arrival times with our family. The location was perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. The open concept living room, dining room allowed for great relaxing time with everyone. Some recommendations would be to update listing information. The propery was listed as having a gas grill, but that was not the case. The propery recently purchased a charcoal grill for the home. The grill was nice, but was inconvenient. The weekly pool cleaning could have been better. There were no cleaning supplies provided so this was something we did need to purchase clean kitchen counters, stove or sinks for our stay as well as check-out. Overall we highly recommend a stay at Tuscan Sun.

Totally disappointed

Pulled into the driveway with 2 dirty, wet mattresses along with trash. The landscaping was a disaster, dog feces in the yard and pool was dirty. Golf cart completely covered in sand and only went 13mph. We had a near accident when someone tried to pass us. A street legal golf cart should be at least 25mph despite what the host said. We have a personal golf cart and previous homes rented have had one. Had to reprogram 2 TV’s and replace batteries. Fitted sheets did not fit 2 of the beds. The host did send someone to get the mattresses, partially clean the golf cart and told us the pool is cleaned twice a week… no one came out. Landscape company showed up and to quote them “this is a mess”. Clearly this house was not inspected prior to our stay. Destin has been our vacation spot for over 15 years and we have never been more disappointed.

Nice house

This house was in a prime location. The beds were comfortable. Spacious enough for 4 adults, a teenager, and a toddler. Even though the listing shows and says there’s a grill, we arrived and expected to be able to grill. The grill was disgusting and then didn’t work. We contacted the property manager who said they would try to get one but we didn’t get one in the time that we stayed in the house. To be fair she said they would be delivering one the day that we were leaving but that didn’t help us. The rules of the house stated that you’re to clean your grill before you leave, that grill did not look like it had been cleaned in several months. The house had a rug that we had to roll up as a soon as we got there because we had an adult trip and then the toddler fall. It’s a great house just needs some TLC. Bring your own frying pan. They have some pots and plenty of cooking utensils/ bowls but no frying pan. They did provide towels, and lots of pillows.

Could’ve been better

Overall we enjoyed our stay, however there were many things we were not satisfied with. First, when we arrived, the email and document we received about the check-in process had two different codes to the doors, neither of which worked, so we had to contact the property manager who gave us a random third code that finally worked. The same thing happened with the WiFi password - none of the passwords were correct on any documents/emails we received but we finally were able to find the correct password in a folder in the home. The place was clean but definitely could’ve been much cleaner as all of our feet were black at the end of each day from walking barefoot. We found that none of the bedroom TVs worked, one bedroom had a broken light, there was a broken stair outside on the side deck which we had to find out after a guest fell, and one bathroom had cracked and missing grout. All things are easy fixes but were kind of an inconvenience and frustration while there. That being said, the location was nice and having a private pool and a golf cart were very helpful. The communication definitely could’ve been better as well. We did enjoy our stay, but I’m afraid we would likely stay somewhere else next time.

We had a great stay

This is a very nice property. I would say that there are only a few things we would want to be different. Our next stay we want to have four bedrooms in stead of Three. The third bedroom is nice for two adults and a couple of children, but not for adults. The pool was a huge hit, although the landscape needs some attention. Also be very careful on the last step from the deck to the pool on the west side. A girl that came with us ended her stay early with a broken ankle and a torn ligament. The step is about twice what the other steps are. I'm sure this will be fixed if the don't want to get sued by someone. I think they should have at least offered to pay her medical bills. But we didn't ask if they would. When I informed the manager, she was apologetic and said they would look at it. The gulf cart was awesome! I did have to patch a tire the first day we were there, someone picked up a screw and the tire was half flat when we got there. No biggy. It was worth it!! If not for the step, and a few little things, I would have given Tuscan Sun a 5 out of 5 stars in stead of 4. We will be looking for something similar next year with four bedrooms, or this place again if we have less people.

Destin Beach House

Ok. Let me start with what was great. There were 3 very nice bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There was an in-ground pool in the back and a great six-seater golf cart to use. The back porch had a table and chairs and a gas grill. There were lawn chairs and beach chairs to use also. Close to the beach. Now lets talk about what could be better. We booked the house for a week. We were left 1 trash bag. I know you need to supply your own groceries but there was 1 trash bag and 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. The house instructions asked that the grill be cleaned after each use, yet there were no grill cleaning tools. The kitchen did not have a spatula, a pitcher, or a cutting board and only had one frying pan. There was a coffee pot but no filters and no spices. Not even salt and pepper. We purchased and left at the house kitchen tools like a spatula and grill cleaning tools. We also purchased a variety of spices, including salt and pepper, and left them in the house. The upstairs bathrooms could not be flushed without plunging them. I guess the homeowner knew this as each bathroom had a plunger. The house is older and has some rotting wood and mold areas around the doors and windows. The kitchen cabinets were very sticky to the touch. I know some of this can be attributed to salt water and being close to the beach, but this was excessive. No cleaning tools were left; it needs a really good cleaning. The floors left the bottoms of all our feet black. Overall the house was great.

Skimming the top

The stay was great but that in no part was due to the house or what came with it! Yes we had beds and a space to be together. There were no extra blankets, had to fix a fuse ourselves to get the AC on. The pool was GROSS. None working filter all week. Pool guy showed up and just put the hose in, not a fix! All the codes were wrong on the board random animal food under night stand, the list could go on.

Awesome location! Great house for a group.

Great pet friendly house close to the beach. Golf cart was an amazing addition. Space was more than enough for a 3 families. Short walk to the beach but everything is accessible by bike and golf cart. Would definitely stay here again!
