The cabin was in a great location and easy to get to. There was never any traffic on the roads leading to cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with kitchen items. The only thing that did not meet our expectations was the bedding. All the linens, comforters, blankets, and pillows had an old musky scent like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. Especially the blankets stored in the closets. So we actually when buy our own bedding. But other than that, everything was great.
This cabin is decent for a family. It could use a good deep clean, there was dust and dirt around the edges of all the floors. There also seems to be a squirrel living in the roof, that should be looked into.
The. cabin was super cute and very clean. Two complaints. One, you can hear everything between the the upstairs and downstairs bedroom as if the person is in the same room. Second, the air hockey table is in terrible shape. This was the deciding factor in renting this cabin and it is basically unplayable.. A little disappointing.
Cute, clean cabin - secluded but close to everything
We recently stayed for a week. Check in was completed online. We received the door code so we could just go in when we got there which was really nice. The drive up to the cabin was a bit nerve wracking - 1.5 lanes wide, 2 way traffic (minimal), steep cliffs w/out guardrails (we found a diff way via Flat Branch Rd which was better). Once we got there though, the cabin was very cozy and clean. The beds were comfy (queen on the main level was super comfy). The layout was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub - though the cabin just before ours had a view right into the tub with no privacy (likely some privacy in spring/summer though). Pool table & air hockey were a bit worn but perfect for the kids to enjoy. The cabin has a crate for your dog which was convenient. Gas logs really helped warm us up after a dip in the hot tub mid winter. Suggestion - keep the master bedroom door shut if running the logs as it gets warm upstairs quick. Location was fantastic! Quiet but so close to everything!Suggestions for the owner: 1) Put a shower caddy on the showerhead upstairs - there's very little space to put your soap/razor/etc. 2) Get a few wine glasses- there were lots of champagne flutes but no wine glasses. 3) Add a gate to the porch to keep kids & pets on there (ref the steep cliffs & being right on the road). 4) Update checkout procedures - there are conflicts between what is on the fridge vs by the thermostat vs what we received via text (ex: set the thermostat at 55 vs 68). )
Great location between Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge. Near all activities but yet quiet and peaceful setting. It snowed and was beautiful! The bears are real! They obviously live around the area and will shake the garbage container each night to check to see if it's locked! We enjoyed watching them as much as the snow.
We enjoyed our stay at Wildwood Dreams. We had 3 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog with us. We appreciated the dog crate provided and overall we had just about everything we needed for our stay. The check-in directions were texted to us and when we couldnât get the front door open upon arrival, (you have to pull and finagle the door while you enter the code), they answered the phone and talked us through it even though it was late. Bring a hair dryer just in case. We did not pack one since it was included in the listing but once we notified management they did drop one off on our porch later on in the day. The air hockey table isnât in the best condition, but our daughter still enjoyed it. The hot tub was nice. Be aware that there are some narrow winding roads up the mountain to get to this cabin. We did fine with our all wheel drive vehicle, but not sure how it gets during snowy season. Driving the winding roads at night was a little nerve wracking, but for a relatively private cabin in the mountain, the drive is what youâd expect. We would stay here again!
We went on a thanksgiving get away. The cabin was everything as described. The hot tub was great and they change the water before your stay. The bedrooms were comfortable. I fixed Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and has everything I needed. The dining room table was room for 6 people. The fireplace was so nice and warm. The gaming room was put too good use and it worked wonderfully. The bathroom curtains needed washed was the only complaint. We did have to call about the fireplace not coming on and he came right to the cabin and fixed it. I would recommend this cabin.
We had a wonderful time. It was the perfect size for us and is in a great location. Only complaint would be the cabin needs a thorough deep clean. Check in and out process was smooth. The free tickets to attractions was a nice little plus. Overall great time and we would definitely come again.
Nice place to rest your head and enjoy the area ! The old gal s a little creepy but has all the necessities for a brief stay whether with friends or family.
This cabin was great! We would definitely stay there again! Loved everything about it. Location was great. Not too far from all the fun but far enough to relax in the quiet after a busy day! 5 stars all the way!
great property. Beautiful location.
My Gripe is garden tub didn't work, not enough towels for four people and a hot tub.
The kids are mad and i was upset that the air hockey table did not work. When we told the property manager he said oh we ordered parts to fix.
I was not told anything when i was booked.
. next trip we should receive compensation towards next cabin for what we didn't get and paid for. I will update in future..
