Salut, Merci d'avoir vérifié notre maison sur Glen Lake! Nous souhaitons pouvoir y être chaque semaine, mais comme nous ne le pouvons pas, nous espérons que vous pourrez venir l'aimer autant que nous.

LE CALENDRIER EST MAINTENANT OUVERT POUR L'HIVER 2018-2019. Des locations d'hiver sont disponibles pour ceux qui s'intéressent au ski à proximité de West Mountain (15 minutes) ou Gore Mountain (45 minutes).

Le calendrier est ouvert pour l'été 2019. En mai et jusqu'au 14 juin, vous pouvez réserver avec un minimum de deux nuits. Juillet et août sont des locations à la semaine avec un changement le samedi. Veuillez noter que Glen Lake possède de nombreuses maisons bordant le lac et qu'elles sont proches les unes des autres. Nos voisins des deux côtés sont âgés. Ils aiment voir et entendre les enfants dehors s'amuser dans le lac, mais notre maison n'est certainement pas le meilleur endroit pour les groupes qui souhaitent organiser de grandes fêtes tard le soir.

Vous vous sentirez comme si vous étiez dans les bois, mais le plaisir de Great Escape Park et du lac George sont à seulement quelques kilomètres. Notre maison a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour de merveilleuses vacances en famille, y compris trois kayaks, un pédalo et un stand up paddleboard. Avec tant de choses à faire dans la région, il vous suffit d'apporter votre énergie! Le bord du lac est large et a une pente douce dans le lac pour une grande baignade et des jeux aquatiques. Vous pouvez même apporter votre propre petit bateau à moteur et le garder à notre quai. Nous aimons faire griller des guimauves et faire des s'mores, nous avons donc un foyer sur le bord du lac pour les feux en plein air.

Notre maison dispose de deux chambres à l'étage, une avec lit king et une avec deux lits jumeaux et un futon. Veuillez noter que pour atteindre la deuxième chambre à l'étage, vous devez passer par le coin de la chambre avant. Nous fournissons un écran pliant qui peut être utilisé pour offrir plus d'intimité. Veuillez également noter qu'il n'y a PAS DE SALLE DE BAINS EN AMONT. Il y a aussi une petite chambre en bas avec un jumeau. Un bain complet et un demi-bain sont au niveau principal. Nous aimons cuisiner, donc la cuisine est entièrement équipée. Il y a une magnifique terrasse avec table de pique-nique couverte, barbecue à gaz et une vue exceptionnelle.

Absolutely amazing place and location!

Everything about our stay was amazing. Beautiful clean property with a perfect location close to anything around Lake George. Property manager Karl was a great help with anything we needed. We highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back next year!

Great place to stay half the price of Lake George

The place was wonderful, clean and very accommodating for a cabin in the woods. We use the kayaks and felt very comfortable and safe there. You made lasting memories for my son and his international college friends. We would absolutely consider coming back next year. Thank you for everything Anthony.

We had an awesome vacation at this lakefront home. The house is quaint and cozy, not modern, which was just fine with us. I loved the mornings on the porch, or on the lake in the kayaks, listening to the eagles call. We saw eagles and loons aplenty, and lots of fish. There is a nice little swimming area for the kids to go in the water, and had a campfire the one night. There are tons of things to do within easy day trip distance. All in all, a perfect place for a family vacation.

Comfortable home in beautiful location

We had a wonderful time at the comfortable, well appointed home with a fantastic view on Glen Lake. We skied and tubed at West Mountain which was a little over 10 minutes away. Karl, the property manager, was friendly and helpful. We would like to return in the summer!

A perfect family getaway

We truly enjoyed the property all around. A quiet location not far from Lake George. The kitchen stove was top notch and all the extra amenities were super! Beds and couch were comfortable. The kids loved being able to walk out to play and fish off the dock. Unfortunately it was too old to catch anything but there was always hope. We would love to stay again!

Great Lake Stay

When booking our trip for the general Lake George area we weren't quite sure what to expect when we chose to book on Glen Lake. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the lakefront view and access. Over our few day stay we became more and more appreciative of being on a "smaller" lake but within minutes of the hustle and bustle of Lake George. Glen Lake is a beautiful quieter lake which was perfect for our young family. The house was older but clean and provided everything you would need. Our family really enjoyed using the kayaks especially on the still lake each morning. We've already said we would not hesitate to come back again!

Weekend getaway

Loved the property. This was our first time renting with vrbo,also first time with lake house. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The forcast was not promising. But we had a great lake day the last full day of our stay. Pm was a phone call away, i called once and answered right away. House was just as prescribed in add. Wonderful Fall Getaway

The view of the fall foliage from the property was breath taking! We spent as much time as we could taking it in, kayaking ,paddle boating, to sitting around the fire. The house was roomy enough for six adults and had everything we needed. Meg was very attentive and went above and beyond our expectations. Karl was pleasant and helpful in answering all our questions. We had a great weekend!

Great location

The house is an easy drive to area attractions, but we could have easily entertained ourselves for the entire time without leaving the property. Our kids loved the peddle boat and kayaks, and there's a shallow, sandy area that was great for swimming.

Best Vacation

This was honestly the best family vacation. It was absolutely beautiful to walk outside and be right on the water. Our kids loved playing all day in the water. The house was immaculate and had everything we could ask for. Karl the property manager was awesome and even took us for a tour of the lake on his boat. He was so kind and caring , we felt so welcomed. Meg we couldn’t begin to thank you enough for allowing us a chance to stay in your home. We loved every minute of our time there and hated to leave. We hope to get another chance to stay there next year!!

Amazing stay

Our family loved staying here. Its a beautiful setting next to the lake and a cozy and spacious house . The fireplace was great and it had everything we needed for a perfect long weekend. The caretaker and the owner were great and very responsive.

Awesome trip

We had a fantastic vacation on the Lake. There were lots of things to see and do. We especially enjoyed being on the water and went kayaking, peddle boating daily. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and the location was perfect.

The location of this property was wonderful. It's right near the main road to everything.

The kitchen was great, fully stocked and a nice size. The house itself was a great size, unfortunately we thought the house was dated. The furnishings were eclectic at best. I did not like that the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathrooms were down stairs. Also the fact that there was only one shower was a drawback. This is to bad, because there certainly was enough room to put one in. The outside deck was great, especially with the awning. We did crafts and had breakfast out there. Another issue for us was the random people coming by. The owners rent dock space, so people would pass by us to get to the boat. It felt like an intrusion of our privacy.

Great location, well maintained house, amazing support, all concerns and questions answered promptly

I forgot about bringing my own sheets so that was a little unexpected. Luckily, there’s a Walmart only a few minutes away. The only drawback for us was the fact that the Master bedroom was a walk through for our kids room. Again, it was posted, but I overlooked it. Otherwise, a great time! Fishing off the dock, close to white water rafting, Lake George (boring btw).

The location is perfect...close to everything but feels like a hidden gem. The home is spacious, very clean and very comfortable! If you needed anything the property manager is close by and very helpful. The only thing we wished we had was more time!! If I could make this my home I wouldn't hesitate. Thank you Meg, Karl and Frank!!!

We really enjoyed our stay during the Memorial Day weekend. We were very impressed on how very well kept and clean the house and property was. We all enjoyed using the kayaks and fire pit and unplugging from electronics and just enjoying nature is just what we needed!!

Amazing vacation on Glen Lake!!!

We had a wonderful time at the house on Glen Lake!!! It was even more beautiful than what we imagined from seeing the pictures. The views of the lake from the house are gorgeous, the deck is so relaxing and comfortable, and the adirondack chairs and hammock are also great places to kick back and enjoy the view. We ate most of our meals outside on the deck, in the shade, looking at the water and just feeling great. We used the kayaks every day, as well as the pedal boat, which our 9-year-old daughter loved. We took the pedal boat out into the middle of the lake and jumped into the water right from it, so we really swam wherever we felt like. The water is so clear and a great temperature. We swam multiple times a day. The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. There are books, games, puzzles, and lots of brochures and information about the area. The beds were great and we slept so well. The kitchen is large and has everything you could possibly need or want. We hardly went out to eat, since we loved using the kitchen so much. The bathrooms were also very nice and clean. There's a paved bike path half a mile from the house, which was a surprise to us, and we biked quite a few times right from the property, which was a lot of fun. We also spent two days at Six Flags, and even biked there the second day (taking the bike path most of the way), which was a great way to arrive! We biked to Lake George Village and took a tour boat out on the lake, and went hiking at Pilot's Knob. This was one of the best vacations we've ever had, and by far the best vacation house we've ever rented! We highly recommend it!

Quiet and laid back retreat...Tucked away and yet quick trip takes you to many activities.

My husband and I, along with our friends and their two children stayed for a long weekend. We enjoyed the fire and the deck. The kayaks were a joy! A quiet early morning paddle was a touch of therapy. The location is ideal since it is off the main path but just a few miles from Lake George and even closer to the shopping for rainy days. The set up is great for close friends or a family. Sleeping arrangements are a loft-like king bedroom that you have to walk through to enter the rear room with 2 twin beds and a futon. Not a big deal for "birds of a feather". We discovered a great walking path just down the road late in the trip...wish we could have explored further. A great day long event is a trip to Fort Ticonderoga...What an amazing part of our history! Glen Lake is definitely a gem!

When you do, please look for our folding wooden screen in the front bedroom that you can use to give a little bit of privacy when folks are going back and forth to the back bedroom.
