La magnifique Villa Sand offre une merveilleuse ambiance relaxante et luxueuse pour explorer la plus grande île du Belize, Ambergris Caye.

Commencez votre matinée en ouvrant les portes françaises sur votre vaste terrasse où vous pourrez admirer les levers de soleil spectaculaires. Sirotez votre café ou Mimosa sur nos confortables chaises longues, puis prenez le petit-déjeuner servi à votre table à manger en plein air. 

C'est ici que vous pouvez commencer votre aventure. La planification de vos journées parfaites au paradis est aussi simple que la pêche au harpon ou à la conque. Ambergris Caye a une multitude d'activités pour tous, cela peut facilement être planifié par notre concierge. Plongée en apnée, kayak vers le deuxième plus grand récif de charbon, plongée sous-marine le Blue Hole, pêche au barracuda, navigation d'île en île, croisière en voiturette de golf, vélo, shopping, excursions sur le continent, ou simplement détendez-vous simplement dans une chambre massage. La Perla possède une belle piscine à quelques pas de la Villa Sands. 
 
Lorsque le soleil se couche, détendez-vous sur le hamac avec un bon livre, détendez-vous et regardez un film sur la télévision à écran plat, ou défiez vos invités à un jeu de cartes tout en préparant le dîner par un chef dans notre cuisine entièrement équipée . 
 
Notre villa à aire ouverte est parfaitement configurée pour les familles ou les couples voyageant ensemble. L'intérieur de la villa présente de magnifiques boiseries béliziennes. Plafond en bois d'acajou. Le décor est rustique / moderne avec des antiquités guatémaltèques authentiques, des tables en bois artisanales et des œuvres d'art uniques en bois flotté pour le plaisir de tous. Il y a 2 chambres avec 2 salles de bain privées vous permettant de dormir confortablement 6 personnes.
 
Vous apprécierez cette maison relaxante et unique avec les rives béliziennes littéralement à 15 pieds devant vous. Votre cour avant est de sable blanc cassé et d'eaux bleu turquoise. La ville de San Pedro est accessible en voiturette de golf ou en bateau. Les restaurants locaux sont heureux de transporter les clients vers et depuis notre quai.

We had a great time and it was amazing to be on the water and to wake up to that view. As others have shared, the sargassum algae is a bummer, but not the property’s fault. We were happy to learn that there was a washer and dryer available to us and the kitchen had everything we needed. Groceries are crazy expensive compared to the mainland, but still nice to have the ability to cook a few meals. The roads definitely make golf cart rentals an adventure, but the right way to get around. We rented a cart through a less expensive company than what the property recommended. It was almost half as expensive but definitely an older cart and possibly a tougher ride. We booked a full day snorkeling tour through Roberto with Tuff E Nuff and it was incredible. The dock pick up was especially nice! La Perla is north of San Pedro by about 5 miles and we enjoyed being in this quieter area, but still had ample restaurants near-by. A great trip overall!!

This was an amazing trip for us 6 girls for a getaway. The rooms worked out great for us. A beautiful beachside view of sunrise. We loved enjoying the mornings on the deck. It is a very quiet relaxing place on the island. We enjoyed seeing the area in our rented golf cart. Free to come and go whenever. The road into town is a little bumpy, but we are from a small community, and we live on dirt roads, therefore did not bother us at all. Star and Cindy were great to answer any questions. The only downside was the smell from the washed-up seaweed. The smell was a strong sewer type smell. From what we understand it was the season for it to be an issue. We also had an issue with an air conditioner that water was puddling on the floor and had to be turned off, and it took 2 days for someone to see about it. It did not cause us any discomfort as it was cool this time of year. The other thing I would point out is that it is difficult to actually walk into the water as there is a built-up wall at the water's edge, not easy access to the water. It was not clear in the pictures and advertising. Overall an amazing trip with great friends. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

First time to Belize

The local dive/snorkel company was extremely convenient as they literally picked us up from our resort dock and Mexico Rocks reef was only a 10 minute boat ride away. Absolutely the most amazing snorkeling I’ve done in my life so I can’t say enough about the experience. I will definitely come back to Belize for future vacations.

Spring break at La Perla

The only downfall was the seaweed had gathered around the sea wall causing a bad smell. The staff worked everyday to clean it up. Even with that small inconvenience I would recommend the unit. We loved the deck and pool area. We had a golf cart and it was easy to get around to surrounding restaurants and bars. I am sure we will being going back

Great experience in a beautiful villa

Everything about the listing was true. The staff were extremely kind and very responsive! The villa was very clean and everything in it worked perfectly - zero complaints. The only challenge with our visit in very early April was the nonstop wind coming off the ocean and the related sargassum (seaweed) buildup on the beach. The wind was 25-35 mph non-stop the 5 days we were there, which made it impossible to go fishing, scuba diving or really do anything on the water. It was even too windy to really enjoy the pool. I will say that the staff did an admirable job of dealing with the sargassum every morning that accumulated overnight. They spend a few hours shoveling it away - and thank goodness that they did or it really smells bad. The saving grace for us given the wind was that we rented a golf cart and were able to go to the protected Secret Beach area and other parts of the island. It also allowed us to go to the grocery store often (a great new grocery is only 10 min away by golf cart). We also used the cart to explore different restaurants in San Pedro and around the island. Overall, a great trip that was limited slightly by Mother Nature.

Not as advertised

Ok, I have to say that I don’t like writing bad reviews but feel like there are important takeaways that everyone should know before deciding if this is the right place for them. A little background we have been to many 5-star and 3-star places. We visited Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cabo, Hawaii, and Costa Rica. This was not any of them in a negative way. On our check-in, we got our orientation which included no swimming in the ocean as there was seaweed and no real place to swim(it was like that for the whole island...only Secret beach-and this was not really much of a beach. We Only went there for couple of hours and kids wanted to leave). Other items on orientation- do not flush toilets with toilet paper and to discard soiled toilet paper in the trash can because the sewage pipes can't handle it. Next, we settled in and the sheets for our bedroom and the kids bedroom were so dirty. small red drops...not sure what that was. The kids had a bunch of other stains. One of the kids beds sheets was clean with no stains. Anyway, we changed the sheets ourselves that were in the closet and told the office and they seemed as a big shock and offered us a free one-hour massage(which was very nice of them). But still, we spend a lot of money for our one week vacation and was not what we expected. The showers had very low water flow, the furniture, kitchen appliances, paint everywhere was very old and chipped needed a serious makeover. not as advertised. C No jacuzzi. the pool was mediocre.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: La Perla is a great property and the staff is world class. They were responsive to any needs and checked in daily to see how we were doing. The Villas are all well maintained and beautiful. Can't recommend it enough.

Gorgeous beachside retreat

Wow! From the moment we arrived at La Perla to the moment we left we were treated to a slice of paradise and excellent hospitality. The Sands is a perfect unit for a family or two couples to get away to the beach. Walk right out to the beach and relax on the pier. Hop in a kayak and cruise the beautiful clear blue water. Michael, Roberto and the whole crew were incredibly responsive and there to help or set up any activity we could dream of, or help us dream. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Thank you for an excellent stay! We will be back.

Beautiful property!

Lovely location north of San Pedro, so quiet at night. The Sands is steps from the water. The management team does a great job tending to things.
