We found the host extremely (in a good way) communicative which was much appreciated. The property contained all amenities mentioned in the VRBO description. Though we did not need them, there are air conditioning units in each living area. The property was clean and well taken care of inside the unit. I would recommend some instructions be made available for the television as there were two remotes and both were needed to access some of the programming. We sorted it out, but not finding anything might make things difficult for some. I would also recommend providing instruction on the operation of the rear deck lighting. The area is great, but the lights are bright and to some extent shine in the rear bedroom. There was a pad in the laundry room implying some ability to control them, but it did not. One last recommendation related to the grill. It is electric, but there didn't seem to be any open receptical in the deck area for its plug. If we are looking for a place to stay in this area, we'd definitely choose this place again.
Great house with ALL the amenities for kids, pets, families.Lovr the big back yard. The host is very friendly and responsive. Our go to air b&b in San Diego
Truly a cozy two bedroom with nice yard for the dogs.
Everything you need is within a short drive. The property is in a quiet neighborhood so sleeping wasn't a problem. It was also equipped with almost anything you would need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this adorable home! Comfortable, family friendly and dog friendly too. Jeanette is a wonderful host. Excellent communication! The location is great, close proximity to SDSU, and only a short 15-20 min drive to the beach and downtown.
Property was wonderful. Location was great. Property manager was in regular communication. This was a great location and we would def re-book if staying in San Diego again! Thanks!
The 3 stars for location is only because im from san diego and el cajon blvd can be iffy once the sun goes down however the house is far enough off the blvd that i didnt feel worried. The house was the perfect size for our little family and accommodates pets well with a nice sized fenced in yard.Great central location short drives to the beach or mountains. The beds were SO COMFY too. Host was very responsive and accomodating which was nice as we've dealt with no so nice hosts before.
Our hostâŠ.Absolutely awesome communication and so considerate. She truly worked hard to accommodate us, due to my having a medical procedure, that required me to lay flat for 48 hours. Since we live 2hours away, I couldnât travel through the mountains. The house fit our needs.
Cozy and ample parking. The dog door was a pleasant surprise for someone who has a dog who knows how to use one. The owner was very friendly and helped me out with recommendations.
My son and I stayed here while on vacation. Jeanette was seriously the best host. Super friendly, easy communication, and has the best house. Super close to everything, quiet neighborhood and the house has everything. Only downfall was, that our vacation had to end and we had to leave. A+++++++
Was well pleased with our whole experience. We visited San Diego for MCRD graduation. The house was well appointed, easy to access & had clear directions for everything we needed. Our host was easy to approach & very helpful. If ever another visit is needed, I'll be very happy to stay with her again!
Our 18-year-old immediately loved the aesthetic that the whole place had. It is quite relaxing and pleasant. We were happy there was an air conditioner unit in each room plus numerous fans in the home. Though we did not have any young children, I saw the high chair, pack-n-play, and small cot in the closet. Plus she had pet food dishes in the laundry room. There were plentry of nice towels, extra pillows, and blankets..Jeannette is set for all circumstances!
We are in NY. My son moved to CA 5 years ago. He has a sweet puppy that he won't leave to travel back east. This year we met IN San Diego. All possible because Jeanettes place welcomed dogs. The backyard was perfect for us to sit and not worry about the dog. Lots of pet friendly places in San Diego. I had many pre questions which were always answered. You can feel confident about choosing this house.
This little house is casual and comfortable. We had the feeling of staying over at a friend's house rather than at a formal rental. The kitchen drawers had the things you would find in anyone's kitchen drawers, for example. It was easy to navigate the house and find what we needed. Plenty of dishes, towels, etc and good TVs that worked well. There was a good table at which to eat, table/desk to set up computer, a high quality washer and dryer. All in all, a good base for us on our visit to San Diego.
This was our 1st experience with staying in someone else's home!! It was a great experience!! Jeanette seems to be a very positive person, her home shows that!! She has many positive sayings in her home and it's warm and inviting!! Our dog Molly loved the big back yard to run in, we are full time rv'ers so she doesn't have that luxury, so she loved it!! I also loved there was a Christmas tree, I haven't had one in many years!! What can i say, you won't be disappointed, it was truly a great experience especially for out 1st time!!
Property consists of two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, mud room and covered patio with small yard. The house was the perfect size for my husband and I, sis in law and pet poodle, Cujo. Everything in kitchen and bathroom were easily located. House did not have central air/heat but air conditioners kept us cool / comfortable. Only negative was musty smell in the house. Everything was clean but we were told that smell came from old flooring and age of the house. I would recommend place as it is in prime location to the beaches and downtown San Diego.
Always such a great experience staying here with our 2 senior dogs and our 4 year old child. Literally 25 minutes at the most from everything we want to do! As long as this home is listed as an option weâll choose to stay and also recommend it to others! The host is so kind and always makes us feel so welcome! Thank you from our family to yours
We were in town for our daughterâs graduation and needed to find a place that we could stay with our dog. We found Jeanetteâs property and booked it.It worked out perfectly for us.Dog was happy, we were happy and the 2 nights were great.Jeanette was very helpful and in constant communication. We recommend if you need a place for your dog to roam and not in the hotel.Thank you!
This property was perfect for our quick stay in San Diego. We came for the Marine Corps bootcamp graduation. Upon arrival we noticed the house was clean, well kept, and had every little amenity we could ever need from small room fans and room air conditioners (if needed), to an iron and spray, to a doggy poop scoop! The home was furnished with plenty of clean seating options (indoor and outdoor) and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of space, towels, and was very well kept. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a park within walking distance. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again if ever we are in the area.
