Inside, you'll find a fully remodeled space with luxury touches, including Casper, Purple, and Sealy mattresses, a game room featuring ping pong, air hockey, foosball, arcade, & hot tub. Kick back in the movie lounge with a 75-inch TV or enjoy a fresh brew from the espresso machine. Sam had great communication and was very helpful. We loved the outdoor setting with the fire pit, string lights, and hot tub. We spent most of our mornings drinking coffee on the screened in porch. The games inside were fun and the place was was very comfy. The drive into Shanendoah isn't bad and got easier every time!

My family had a wonderful stay at this property, and had fun exploring the surrounding areas. The house was clean, communication with the host was easy, and we loved all the outdoor spaces. My kids enjoyed all of the board games and the game room. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook in, and the grill was perfect as well. We had a fantastic time and hope to return to this property again some day!

We had a great stay at this home. Everything mentioned in the listing was accurate; the house was clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and we had a great time in the game room and outside around the fire pit. The communication with the host was excellent, and they were very quick to respond to any questions. Check-in was super easy and while the cabin felt remote, you aren't that far from groceries, food and activities.

Sam was super easy to communicate with from first contact last September right up to check out. He was prompt with replies and very friendly. He even suggested a few local places to eat! The property was exceptional. It was very clean and had everything you would think to need from towels to firewood, coffee filters to espresso machines. The Jacuzzi was a perfect relaxation after hiking and/or cave exploring all day. If we ever go back to that area, we would definitely reach out to Sam first, hoping this property were available.

What a wonderful stay we had at this home! Game room was so much fun. The outdoor fire pit was a great place for catching up with old friends. Lots of dry firewood in the wood shed. So very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely recommend this place and didn’t want to leave!!

Excellent location need town. Very comfortable house. Rooms are very big. Awesome entertainment area in the basement. Outdoor space is large and great for gatherings.

My family and I have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals over the years. Most of them are nice — clean, accurate to the photos, and generally comfortable. But what we’ve learned is that the difference between a good property and an exceptional one almost always comes down to the host. This property is exceptional because of Sam.There are things you don’t fully appreciate about a rental until you’re actually living in it: the true cleanliness of the home, how well the kitchen is stocked, whether the beds are genuinely comfortable, and whether the host is present enough to help without ever feeling intrusive. Sam excelled in every one of those areas.The home was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen wasn’t just stocked — it was stocked like someone who actually cooks. You could tell Sam shops at Costco because everything was high‑quality and abundant, right down to the kind of toilet paper you don’t expect in a rental but absolutely appreciate. Small details like that make a big difference.Sam checked in several times throughout our stay, always at the right moments, making sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. It felt like having a host who genuinely cared about our experience.The game room was another highlight. The giant Connect 4 set turned into an impromptu family tournament that became one of our favorite memories from the trip. It’s the kind of thoughtful, fun addition that shows the host goes above and beyond to create a great stay.

Kenneth, thank you for such a thoughtful review. You don't get these kind of reviews often and they mean a lot when you do. Hearing that the little things (yes, the good toilet paper included!) made a difference is exactly the kind of feedback that makes all the effort worth it. My goal is to create a vacation experience exactly as my family would appreciate, and that means splurging on nice toilet paper, high end shower heads, high end beds and office chairs, etc. Things that you could easily cheap out on, but I knew would be appreciated by the right guests. I'm so glad the kitchen came in handy and that the Connect 4 tournament turned into a family memory.
