Idéalement situé sur la côte sud-est préservée de la grande île d'Hawaï, le Turtle Paradise est un spacieux condo de style polynésien pour vos vacances de rêve à Hawaï.

Le Turtle Paradise est un vrai condo d'une chambre, pas un studio. Il a deux niveaux complets: le premier niveau comprend le foyer, la chambre et la salle de bain; le niveau deux est la grande salle, qui s'étend sur toute la largeur de l'unité et comprend le salon, la salle à manger, la cuisine complète et la véranda pleine longueur. La grande salle a des plafonds voûtés, des poutres apparentes en bois et des ventilateurs de plafond dans le salon et la salle à manger. La véranda a deux belles tables à manger en teck et des sièges pour quatre.

Les équipements comprennent:
- une cuisine bien équipée avec de nouveaux appareils, y compris un réfrigérateur et une cuisinière pleine grandeur, un four micro-ondes, une cafetière et un moulin, un cuiseur à riz, un grille-pain, etc.

We absolutely loved everything about our 10 days in the condo. It was within minutes of a gorgeous black sand beach. The condo is beautiful, with everything we needed. The area is quiet and peaceful. It truly felt like paradise!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay. This is the first time we have stayed outside of Kona. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending. We enjoyed our moring walk on Black Sand Beach watching the turtles play in the surf and lay in the sun. The grounds were beautiful and the pool and hot tub were nice. I would recommend staying here.

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The condo is very clean and had everything we needed. It's in a great location for Volcano National Park, South Point and Black Sand Beach, plus and easy drive to Hilo. We would definitely recommend it.

Loved our stay!

We very much enjoyed staying here for 2 weeks! It had everything we needed for our time in the condo and lots available to us for our daily excursions - cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, etc. It's a beautiful home in a very nice complex, which is a short walk to a fabulous black sand beach. The pool and hot tub were so nice! We would love to return some day!

Best ever

We enjoyed our stay! It is a remote location but we new that before we stayed. The black sand beach next door and sea turtles were wonderful. Loved the Hawaiian bakery a few miles away and being 30 minutes from Volcano NP. Great value for a secluded vacation

Unexpected gem

We loved our visit. The place has everything you need (all well labeled and easy to find). The place was clean and in order. We felt ‘at home’. I would definitely stay here again (and for a longer time). We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the morning watching the white caps on the ocean, listening to the birds, and enjoying the calm.

Black sand beach escape

My family of 4, including to kids ages 7 & 9, enjoyed this condo for 3 nights. The grounds and the condo are great! Easy to get to black sand beach, which was great for snorkeling but rocky so bring water shoes. My 7 year old was amazed snorkeling with the turtles. This was a great price and great condo!

So Nice We Had To Stay Again!!

We had such a wonderful stay during Easter weekend, that we had to go back and will continue to go back for as long as the owners will allow! Lol. It really is a wonderful condo. I almost don’t want to brag about it too much because there won’t be anymore dates available to reserve! Seriously though, you’ll be pleased with everything about this place.

Away from everything- just what we wanted

This place is out of the way - which is what we wanted. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. It also very dark if you love stargazing. We got amazing pictures of stars with our iPhones. Day trips to Kona and Hilo areas are perfectly manageable, but we spent several days just soaking up the black sand beach, drinking coconut milk and watching sea turtles. Accommodations were exactly as described.

Beautiful condo with Manicured Grounds.

This condo complex is very well taken care of. The interior is gorgeously decorated in Island style. It isn't in a city area but there is limited shopping nearby. The condo has everything you need to cook meals, even spices and oil. Our contact, DeAubrey, was very responsive to all our needs.

Much Needed Weekend Getaway

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, weekend getaway and it’s specifically because of the absolutely amazing unit that we stayed in. My daughter, grandson and I live less than 10 mins away in Pahala. We own a coffee shop there called, “AunTee’s.” We decided to change it up a bit this Easter and wanted to get away, yet still be close to home. Soooo flippin’ happy to find this unit was available. We scored!!! The owners were extremely kind and accommodating and the decor is so gorgeous. It’s well-equipped with everything you could ever need. The ceiling fans made the inside temp perfect and we were sad to leave. Definitely going to do this again! Mahalo, mahalo!! Amy, Tia and Levin ❤️❤️❤️

Fully furnished get away

This condo was very nice and stocked with everything we could have wanted. We greatly enjoyed the black sand beach and watching the turtles each day!! It was awesome to have beach chairs to use. We appreciated DeAubrey’s suggestions for things to do. This unit is an hour outside of Hilo and even further from Kona, so there is a lot of driving involved to experience things. The only thing I would suggest is letting the renters know there is no A/C! I never thought to ask if the unit had a/c because everywhere on the mainland has a/c. It was very hot and muggy despite having all the fans going. We had a tough time sleeping because we couldn’t get cool.

Couldn't have asked for more.

Turtle Hut II was the perfect home away from home. Mom enjoyed reading her book on the lanai each morning while the kids and I strolled down to the beach to swim with the sea turtles. We were all entertained by the birds and geckos that visited us each day on the lanai as well. We had a beautiful view from the pool and spa where we relaxed most evenings during our stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. If you have the good fortune of staying at Turtle Hut II just know that you will not have the convenience of a grocery store or gas station near by. My family took this as a good excuse to visit Hilo, although there are some smaller towns about 20-30 minutes away. Turtle Hut was only 30 minutes from the volcanoes national park, which was one of our main destinations. This was an awesome vacation truly enjoyed by the whole family. Thanks Barbara!

Cozy and quiet

Very nice place, just as listed. Nice bedroom bed that head inclines to watch TV or movie. Sofa bed not very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked but small, meant for 2 people at most. Deck is nice, good view. Not far from pool and hot tub which were nice, close at 9 pm. Not to many people by pool or in hot tub at once so was easy to get a seat. Check In was very easy. Only couple bad things about place, very far winding road to Kona for groceries etc. Hilo almost as far, better road but always rainy there. Condo in a low area of Island so hi way getting in there for us was flooded and closed first day from Kona side. Rooster lives just across the way from bedroom window and he was crowing on and off every morning from around 5 am to 730 am he'd finally stop which sucked if you like to sleep in. Load people in parking lot later at night coming in or leaving in morning also problem trying to sleep in, tough when want windows open for air. All and all very nice place for price if you want a quiet getaway that isn't busy like kona

Lovely Hawaiian Retreat Away from it all

Turtle Hut II is what it appears to be in the photos. Your condo is on the back side of a 70 or so unit complex. You can see and hear the ocean from the lanai, but the view from the pool, only a short walk away, is unsurpassed. What is most impressive is how the well the grounds, pool and hot tub are kept. They are immaculate. The condo itself was very clean upon arrival; however, compared to the other VRBO properties I've rented in the past, the supplies were limited. We did need to purchase things like extra toilet paper, spices and extra clothes washing liquid. Perhaps if we'd asked they would have been supplied but as I said in other properties all these were available at check-in. I loved the easy access to the Black Sand Beach, South Point, the Green Sand Beach and the Volcano National Park. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and still get all the sun you want, stay here. This place asks that you allow the landscape entertain you. Be prepared to do some hiking or if you like to golf, bring your clubs. You are on a golf course. Eating out is possible, but options are few in comparison to heavily populated locations. Plan meals so you can use the group BBQ and walk your food back to eat in privacy or eat with others around the pool and make new friends. I have already recommended this location to other like-minded individuals who do not want a stay in one place (resort) type of vacation. And I'd stay here again if my plans included another trip to the Kau district of Hawaii.

My husband and I lived in Oahu, Hawaii when my husband was in the Army. We always dreamed of retiring on the Islands but never thought it would be possible, but dreams do come true! We haven't retired yet but this will be our home someday and until then we want to share it with you.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We found this complex when visiting the Big Island in 2015. We stayed in a condo like this one and fell in love with the area. We were drawn to this part of the island, a little more laid back. The beach is in walking distance, the pool and hot tub are great and the location was just perfect.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Sea Colony is ideally located between Hilo and Kona. We are walking distance to Punaluu Black Sands Beach. We are close to Volcano National Park, Green Sands Beach, South Point, Coffee Farms, and much more. We are a quiet community with the sound of the ocean and birds heard daily. Very relaxing, no need to leave the area either. Walk to the beach, come home to a meal or grill at the pool. Jump in the pool and end the day at the hot tub. Then back to the condo to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean.
