Colony One at Sea Mountain resort is one of the most serene resorts on the Big Island. Perfect for those who want to get the true Hawaiian experience. Colony One at Sea Mountain Condos are located on the South end of the Big Island only 60 minutes from Hilo and 80 minutes from Kona and 25 minutes from Volcano National Park. The two closest towns are Na’alehu (7 miles South) and Pahala (5 miles North).
Walk to the world famous Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, and swim with the green sea turtles which bask on the beach all day long. All short drives from the resort: Green Sands Beach, South Point Cliffs, Kilauea Volcano, Ka’u Coffee Mills, and so much more. Greens Sands Beach is the only natural beach in the world that encompasses beautiful green sand made out of olivine crystals. South Point cliffs are the most southern point in the United States and are world renowned for its amazing views and cliff jumping excitement. In the other direction, Kilauea constantly spews out lava in the Volcano National Park for all to see year round. The Ka’u Coffee Mill is famous world round for it’s superior unique coffee taste- see the farm itself and take a tour of the beautiful uplands of the Ka’u district.  Punalu’u Bake Shop located in Na’alehu features freshly made Sweet Bread which now ships globally, and can be sampled and enjoyed in your lunch sandwich while lounging in the gorgeously maintained grounds and gardens. Ka’u has some of the most isolated and untouched landscapes in all of Hawaii. The swimming water, fresh and salt, is warm and crystal clear, perfect for rejuvenating the body and soul. The island itself is the only place in the world that contains all 7 geographic climates. Explore icy tundras in the winter, lush green rainforests, and of course the beautiful relaxing beaches throughout the district and island.

This unit has everything you need for the perfect vacation getaway in the beautiful area of the South part of the Island of Hawaii.  We offer shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower.  We have high speed internet dedicated to this unit along with Cable TV with hundreds of channels for you to find something of your preference.

STUDIO UNIT :  Queen bed in bedroom alcove (open to living room--no door) and the Living Area Sofa pulls out into a sleeper sofa.  This unit is unique that it doesn't have any other unit above or below it which keeps noise at a minimum.  Large vaulted ceilings with lots of natural lighting along with Ocean Views from the interior and exterior of the unit.

AMENITIES:  Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash provided along with Blow Dry in the unit for guest use.  Bath Towels and wash cloths in the unit as well as 4 Beach/Pool Towels available for use.

KITCHEN:   Microwave, Oven, full size refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, disposal, drip coffee maker & NESPRESSO VERTUO  Expresso/Coffee Maker by Breville (we do not provide pods, but you can bring your own), toaster, rice cooker, pots & pans, silverware, dishes, cooking utensils

LAUNDRY: Credit Card & Coin-operated washing machines and dryers on-site at complex.  Laundry Basket available for Use in Closet.

ENTERTAINMENT:  Flat screen TV which swings from bedroom into the living area for multiple viewing areas, cable connection with TV channels, Unit designated FREE INTERNET with excellent Wi-Fi connection.

DINING:  Indoor & outdoor tables and chairs, with lounger sun-chair on lanai as well.

LANAI:  Spacious Lanai with Ocean Views, great for sunrise breakfasts, sunset dinners & star gazing at night!  Large table to accommodate 4 on the lanai and large Lounger for Sunbathing and Reading/Relaxing.

POOL / HOT TUB:  Pool and Hot but overlook the ocean & golf course, gas BBQ grills for guest usage, tables & chairs, lounge chairs, beach chairs available for use in the closet.

PUNALU'U BLACK SAND BEACH is just a short walk or drive away.  This easily accessible beach lies between the towns of Pahala and Na'alehu, and is a popular stop when visiting the Volcanoes National Park. It draws both locals and travelers to its shores for its gorgeous black sand—a result of underwater volcanic activity—and for those hoping to catch a glimpse of the elusive and endangered hawksbill and green sea turtles. If you're lucky, you might spot these creatures resting on the warm, black sand. Hawaiian monk seals sometimes make a rare appearance, too.
