Entièrement meublé avec lits queen, réfrigérateur et l'essentiel. C'est glamping avec le confort de la maison, y compris la télévision, wifi, barbecue et micro-ondes. Situé sur la grande île d'Hawaï entre Hilo et Kailua Kona. Situé à environ 3500 pieds d'altitude sur les pentes du Mauna Loa, surplombant la pointe la plus méridionale d'Hawaï, la dernière côte vierge d'Hawaii. Les matinées sont ensoleillées et nuageuses les après-midi mais de belles nuits étoilées.

Friendly and accommodating host even when we arrived super late. The Yurt was also so nice, the photos don’t do it justice, was super clean and a comfy bed. Great stay and affordable price. Would stay again.

Yurt was very clean, and well appointed with dishes, cups, silverware, coffee & sugar packets. At arrival, host showed us how to use the camping type toilet & separate incinerator toilet. Also gave us some suggestions on things to see in the area, and popular bakery 29 minutes away. Highly recommend if you’re staying in the area

There's more than one yurt on the property. We stayed in the studio, in which the bathroom is attached. No going outdoors to use the funky facilities. We were very comfortable and found the hosts to be accommodating. Gas grill has a side burner if you feel like cooking instead of dining out. The town is called Ocean View. As pointed out previously, there is no ocean view from the property. Incredible view of stars at night.We found this to be a great value and would certainly book it again.

Ocean View Retreat

Great location for an off-the-grid R&R vacation (with TV, Internet, etc.). Simple amenities in close-by town were good and Kai Lokis was tremendous - food and atmosphere. Wonderful sunsets, sunrises and night sky viewing of stars.

We enjoyed our stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were especially grateful the host was willing to stay up and let us in when we arrived very late in the evening. It's a very comfortable place, especially if you want to experience some glamping.

first trip to Hawaii!

We enjoyed the property and our stay, close to the things we wanted to do. I would of liked a luggage rack to put suitcases on, but location was great for our trip to the big island! Would stay there again! First time in a yurt, and didn't mind the "toilet" was a different experience! Thank you!!

Love This Place

We love the yurt. It has all the amenities, very comfortable and great location. Actually, for us it’s the best location possible for touring the island. The managers were very helpful and made our stay a wonderful experience. We love the Big Island and our stay at the Yurt here in Oceanside.

A perfect yurt for a perfect stay

My stay was incredibly cozy, it was almost impossible to get out to visit the island ;) Check-in was quick, but personnalized, with great tips on the must-sees of the area. Host is super responsive on the app, which is great for people without US phone service 🙋‍♀️ Highly recommend!

This is our second time staying here. The yurts are lovely, comfortable and well equipped. The central skylight shows dazzling stars at night. Communication with Lisa is excellent and speedy and helpful. Love love love the view of South point from up where the weather is delightfully cool, but not cold. We hope to go back again if we can! Thanks!

A gem of a place

Our stay at the yurt was the best experience we could have hoped for. Lisa and Kai are wonderful hosts, very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The place had breathtaking views at sunrise, and in the night you can see the moon and stars from inside the yurt. Just about everything is provided if you plan on cooking/grilling. I'd 10/10 stay here again or recommend to a friend!

Comfy cool yurt

Comfortable stay, really cool stars. An hour away from Kona and an hour to the Volcanoes. Kai was always responsive and the location is pretty quiet and out of the way. I would stay again Mahalo
