Enjoy our centrally-located studio nestled within historic North Chattanooga. A short walk from the North Shore, Renaissance Park, Stringer's Ridge, and downtown, The Loft is a great base to explore some of what makes Chattanooga special. The Walnut St. bridge is nearby and gives views of Coolidge Park as well as the cliffs under Hunter Art Museum where you can see climbers free soloing over the water. You can even rent one of our paddleboards and explore it for yourself! Hope to see you soon.
THE SPACE: This space was probably just an attic when the house was built in the mid 1940 âs- itâs anything but an attic now. This newly renovated studio apartment houses a king size bed as well as a double sofa sleeper. The table comfortably seats 4 guests for dining, and our work station allows for distraction free work if you must. While the primary residence is a local family home, the Loft was well-built with sound deadening insulation, so you shouldnât need to tiptoe around during your stay.
Out back thereâs ample room for two vehicles to park, and weâve included a classic Weber charcoal grill for meat & veggie lovers.
GUEST ACCESS: Guests have access to the gravel lot, deck, and studio apartment.
PLEASE NOTE: The alley to The Loft isnât too long, but it is narrow and a little bumpy. There are about 10 steps between your parking spot and your bed.
Very welcoming with great amenities. Appreciated not having a long to do list when checking out. We would have loved a list of local recommendations however.
Justin was very communicative and the listing was described perfectly. Pictures were accurate and the hone was clean. The private entrance was a plus as we arrived late, so it allowed us not to disturb the host. Would certainly stay again if we ever return to Chattanooga.
This place is fantastic. It is centrally located on the northshore and very private and quiet. Justin is a gracious host and the place is tastefully appointed with all you need. Grab this one while it lasts!
Very nice and clean. Quiet and peaceful. Area is located close to a lot of places to visit and experience Chattanooga. Communication with hosts was great and they were very helpful with working with me as I had some trouble with my truck when I arrived. They checked on me to be sure I had everything I needed.
Easy, quiet, and clean. Bed was comfy, shower was dolid, ac worked well. No big complaints. Justin was great and available with communication, would recommend if looking to stay in the area!
I'm a Chattanooga native, family man, and outdoorsman. My boys and I love hiking, climbing, swimming, and soccer. My wife is a world traveler, and sheâs planned our stays in vacation homes in the US, Europe, South America, and Africa. When Iâm not working one of my various jobs, I enjoy studying history, religion, and philosophy.
