Great place to stay!

Hosts and property are amazing! We stayed in the Golden Eagle, it was quiet, clean and relaxing. Highly recommend staying at Watch Point Cottages.

Great place to escape for a bit!

Lovely location, great host and a very relaxing vibe to enjoy. We had 8 women stay for a family/friends getaway and everyone had a great time!

beautiful lake stay

As advertised, everything you need is right there, the family on the property were very friendly and helpful. swimming and the fireworks were great. Cabin was clean and comfortable.

Golden eagle cabin!!!!

We had an amazing time staying at the golden eagle cabin. It was absolutely breathtaking views.we loved the whole experience. 10/10 would recommend and definitely are gonna go back

Great place for east lake beach and fishing. If you have a boat or jet skis then even better. Nice quiet spot with beautiful scenery

Close to the lake

Wonderful stay!!!

My family stayed in the Golden Eagle cottage and we loved it!!! Had all the comforts of home right near the water. Our family will definitely be returning. Ardie and Mike are so nice and welcoming. A truly beautiful and relaxing weekend getaway for our whole family.

Great Getaway!

The hosts are very attentive and have many accommodations for your stay. It was great. They even offered to take our dogs out while we were out for the day. We spent our days hiking, shopping, and golfing. Great place!

Cute cottage in a great spot

The cottage was as advertised and Ardie was an excellent host — very communicative and helpful. It’s in a great location: right on the lake and only about 25 minutes to the Middlebury College campus. We are coming back next spring!

Secluded spot

This is a very private secluded spot on a beautiful lake, but still close to plenty of activities. The owners were very helpful and the catering was delicious. We brought our boat and we’re able to dock right on property. We had a great time in these cabins with our family!

Vermont Oasis

We had magnificent time at Watch Point Cottages. The cottage was perfect in every way. Ardie and Mike couldn't have been any more nice or helpful. Their property is a true gem!!!! If you want to get away from it all in an absolutely beautiful setting this is the place!

The Golden Eagle cabin was perfect for our family of five. Very clean and well-stocked. A/C throughout the cottage, which was great as it was hot and humid during our stay. Hosts were helpful upon arrival and very communicative leading up to and throughout our stay. My children had so much fun catching fish from the shore, including some huge catfish! Mike kept us stocked with worms and bobbers so the kids could fish nonstop! We brought our boat and was able to keep it at the dock, which was convenient.

Fall Foliage Getaway

The cottage was quaint, clean and very spacious. The property was beautiful, the lake was breathtaking. Mike and Ardie are wonderful hosts, very friendly, and very accommodating. Nice location 40 minutes to anywhere and everywhere. I very much enjoyed my stay. I plan to go back again.

Paula was a fantastic guest! We enjoyed having her as a guest with her two pups! Never have we seen the cottage so clean after a departure which we so gratefully appreciate, and right down to everything back in its place! It was such a fun experience sitting around the camp fire exchanging conversation which we don't have a chance to do very often. We surely hope to have her visit again in the near future! Thank you! Very nice relaxing week!

Very nice relaxing week! Ardor & Mike we’re great & we enjoyed the boat ride on Tom’s boat. Kids lioved the tubing! Addie gave us delicious fresh verges from her garden! Cottage was very clean & kitchen was well stocked.

Nice and quite area to vac at

The over all stay was great my kids loved the fishing. Just wish there was more things closer to the property to do. You do have to drive quite a bit if you want to go do things. The boat ride with Tom was a great educational about the River and very fair priced.

Great Fishing

Our kids were mostly concerned about the fishing and Champlain did not disappoint. They caught bass, walleye, catfish, as well as many small fish right from the dock. Our cottage (Golden Eagle) was very clean, cozy, and well stocked. The owners were very friendly and attentive and as were their dogs that we fell in love with, especially Jabba :) We very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at Watch Point! The cottage was lovely and clean. A lot a space and fit our group of 6 comfortably. Stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Board games to play and Tv in the living room and bedrooms. The lake was nice and not too chilly. We were taken out on the lake by Tom in his boat so we could go tubing which was a blast!!! The best part was getting to know Ardie and Mike who are the hosts. So nice to talk to and informative about the lake and area of Vermont. We are lookikg forward to returning again and again.

A lovely getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Watch Point Cottages--it's a beautiful spot, the Golden Eagle was a clean, cute and cozy cabin with a kitchen stocked with tons utensils, pots and pans, etc. for cooking, plus a gas grill outside and a fire pit! We enjoyed sitting back the lake on the beautiful deck, going out on the lake in the kayaks and checking out the area. Ardie and Mike were friendly and attentive hosts and made check in and out very easy. Thank you!

Golden Eagle cottage could use a bit updating but the view and scenery was lovely.

The banquet/lobster bake that Chef Mike put on for our crowd was outstanding! Tent, decorations, preparations, service, staff helpfulness and the gorgeous chair of honor for our 90 year old birthday girl were all absolutely wonderful. Our biggest thanks to Ardie, Chef Mike and the rest of the staff for a most memorable event!
