Wonderful extended stay

So much detail, and care has went into this home. The host was very gracious to me and my family. His guest services team was amazing. Evolve was a wonderful company to do business with. Can’t recommend enough for people who are truly trying to get the most out of their stay.

Exactly what we needed

This house was exactly what we needed. We had a few of our employees down for some work, this was perfect. I hate getting a hotel for them especially when it’s longer than a couple of days. The house was nice, clean and comfortable!

Quiet and Relaxing for Extended Stay

We stayed and worked remotely for 3 weeks with our two cats. This property met all of our needs! The cats loved the screened in porch. We had ample space to have adequate separation while we both conducted our work duties. Branson has tons of games available for those so inclined. He also has bikes and a kayak available. This property is a short 5-8 minute drive from town, and Oriental has all the essentials. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for being such a great host Branson!

Needs updates

Some of the living room furniture is literally falling apart. Stove and BBQ were unusable, burn food on floor of oven and BBQ was filthy. House is great but needs some TLC.

It would have been helpful to know what pieces you were talking about. - While the stove and grill showed previous usage, neither was unusable, inoperable, or unsafe. We did, however, have the stove and the grill cleaned from top to bottom. We are sorry if this affected your stay. Great stay in Oriental!

The house was secluded on a beautiful property surrounded by nature. We were comfortable in our separate master suite, while the kids enjoyed the other bedrooms with a shared bath. The great room was spacious and bright. Lively visit!

Interesting stay

Beautiful house and neighborhood. Would love to know the story behind the development because it seems most lots are for sale at a discount. Pool was great for small children as mine are still learning to swim. Took our boat out from the launch next door and the neuse river was beautiful. Weather was perfect. Would love to come back next summer.

Great vacation home!

My friends and I stay here for a week and we enjoyed our stay. The surrounding area is nice and quiet and we had a pleasant stay. The home was comfy and had everything we needed. The internet is not the fastest but it does work. The nearby community pool was nice and relaxing. The owner is nice and very helpful when we contacted him when we needed something from him. This is not too big of an issue but the hot water did stop working on our last night,.was not sure why it had stopped, but I did report to the owner the next morning. Other than that the home and surrounding area was a great getaway.

Lovely home in Oriental

Thanks so much to the owner for sharing his lovely home! The Oriental house was perfect for our stay with 6 adults. The house is extremely clean, well maintained and very up to date. The kitchen and baths are modern with all amenities. The owner was so kind to leave us a house warming gift of wine and a fruit basket. He provided us all of the information we needed on a timely basis and was available by text if needed during our stay. The location was less than 10 minutes to the town of Oriental and very convenient for sailors and kayakers. We will definitely stay here again when in Oriental!

Nice place to stay

Nice house. In a neighborhood that looks like it was to be developed long ago but only couple of houses. A little bit out of the way. About 40 min drive to New Bern.

Lovely home

This home is located in a very quiet community. Everything was clean and well cared for inside and outside of the home. We visited during a winter storm and the home owner was helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our 3 family blend!

This home served my family perfectly!! We returned to my mom's childhood home of Oriental to celebrate her 81st birthday and her 64th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Mr. Dunn emailed me all the information I needed to use the clubhouse for our gathering and it turned out to be a perfect facility for that celebration. The home had three bedrooms which allowed my sister and husband, my parents, and my husband and me each our own room. The remaining shared rooms of the home were spacious and made us feel like home. The huge outside porches allowed us to visit with company safely during this horrible time of pandemic. It was an adventure cooking in the kitchen to find where everything was located but we did!!! If we needed anything, Mr. Dunn was a text away!!

Wonderful place and host!

The house was perfect for our needs. The hosts left fresh fruit for our enjoyment as well as some other items. Our family get-together included 3 boys ages 10, 13, and 16, our son and his wife, and my husband and me. Even with such a broad range in ages, we all had a wonderful time. They practiced soccer kicks on the road in front of the house as it was the only house on that particular street. From here, we took several ferry rides to different lighthouses. The first full day we went to Cape Lookout (only way is by ferry or boat) and were able to also see the Shackleford Island horses. The next day we drove up to the area of Hatteras and saw other lighthouses and sand dunes as tall as some of the houses. If you should go, be sure to check on reservations for some of the ferries. As we crossed one of several bridges, we even saw dolphins in the water. Our weekend was a true memory-making experience and the Oriental house was perfect for us. Highly recommended!!

Mr. Dunn’s home was a pleasure to visit.one of the most accommodating clean and spectacular views in North Carolina secluded from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoyed all the amenities and family time, we will definitely book again for a longer stay.

Beautiful remote gateway

Well kept house, modern and up to date, clean, granite countertops, amazing wrap-around screened in back porch, and comfy beds! Not to mention the view, surrounded by tall majestic pines, only house on the block, privacy, serenity, chirping birds, We LOVED our stay here. Branson was so helpful, very good communication, he went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend!!
