Excellent quaint location close to Littleton and Bretton woods
Very adorable house with old charm, lots of space with everything we needed! Will definitely stay again in the future!! Also a nice quiet private neighborhood within walking distance to Main street Bethlehem
Older home that sleeps up to 6. Bedroom and half bath in main floor. Loft bedroom and fill bath upstairs has a double bed and two twin beds. Very clean and quite comfortable for a weekend or extended stay. Convenient location just off the Main Street through Bethlehem, NH- easy drive to surrounding communities or popular attractions.
Would definitely recommend. We had a fantastic stay. The house was very clean and spacious, and the owner was very communicative and friendly. Great brewery/restaurant and breakfast spot within walking distance, not to mention some fun shops to poke around in. Lots to offer. Weâll be back!
The property was lovely and just as described. There was plenty of space for three adults and a dog to spread out and not be on top of each other. My dog enjoyed the park that was about 100 yards down the road.
The Property is beautiful! Well located walking distance from downtown Bethlehem. The main house is just lovely but also homey and comfortable and super clean. Bob is an excellent host. Very responsive and leaves terrific coffee and tea options which is a terrific touch. We were two couples and really enjoyed this property. It was extremely dog friendly and Bob went the extra length to make our Dog happy including a dog run!. Do not hesitate to stay here.
We stayed in Bob's cottage as an easy base camp for hiking Mt Washington with our dogs. The space was clean, though it had a lingering smoke smell that was masked by some plug-in air fresheners. We aired it out by opening all the windows upon arrival, which seemed to work. The location was quiet and secluded, a guest house next to a large main house. We loved the easy walk into town for breakfast at Maia Papaya and dinner at Reklis Brewing. We will definitely be back, as we loved the area for summer hiking, but it would also be a wonderful location for skiing in the winter!
This is a converted garage. It is falling apart. Tiles cracked, peeling paint, exposed wiring. The AC was one small window AC for the whole place. It sleeps 4 not six. Sheets were not changed. No privacy. We stayed one night out of our week booked. We booked a new rental it was that bad.
Bob was responsive and pleasant. Ideal, very quiet location walking distance to downtown Bethlehem and a short drive to many attractions. We were upgraded to the larger house, which was spacious and had everything we needed. It looked as though the carpets had not been cleaned recently, though the floors were clean-- probably just an oversight. Fortunately there was a vacuum in the house.
The area is very nice , quiet and quaint . The listing does not accurately describe what you will get when you get there . It says itâs a cottage but really itâs just a converted garage space . The place with filthy , cobwebs everywhere , pieces of the ceiling falling off , the floors were sticky and when my kids walked in them barefoot their feet were black from the dirt . There was also an awful smell . The kitchen was dirty as wel and only had one pan to cook with . The cable was not connected and we had to reconnect the wires ourselves . The linens on the kitchen table were stained and obviously not laundered between guests. The bathroom was probably the worst part . It was really tight - you could barely fit on the toilet because it was smooshed between the wall and washer/ dryer . The floor was also dirty and the shower was disgusting . When I opened the curtain to let my son in to wash up there was hair on the wall and the floor was very dirty . While My husband was showering a piece of wood from above the shower fell off and landed on him . The owner came in on our first day there and cleaned the place however itâs just so bad that there was only so much that could be done .On a positive side the owners were very nice and accommodating and they tried to help us salvage what was turning out to be a bad vacation by allowing us to move to the larger property on their premises . This location was much nicer but still very dirty and not well kept .
We enjoyed our stay at this nice cottage. You can walk up to restaurants and store easily. There is also a small trail right around the cottage which we found out later. You get to see fall colors right outside the property even if you donât plan on the trail. The property owner was very helpful and considerate. He even suggested us a bunch of places to visit around the area for fall foliage. Definitely a cozy place to stay!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful vacation house. The location is perfect - walking distance to downtown Bethlehem (restaurants, playground, etc!) and a relatively short drive to attractions like the Flume Gorge, Santa's Village, and Mt Washington. We are already looking foward to returning next summer! Our host promptly and helpfully answered questions about local events. We felt right at home.
This lovely property is located a short drive from some of the best attractions in the White Mountains. The owner thought of every little detail to make both us and our pets feel welcome. We absolutely loved our time there and definitely plan on returning.
Great weekend getaway location. Clean, open, and airy home with lots of character and charm. Multiple beds available with a full kitchen, dining room, loft and 2 bathrooms. Laundry on site with a nice backyard and a dog run. Walking distance to all the hot spots in town, and easy driving to everywhere else. Can't wait to come back!
Quaint, charming but old with mouse droppings inevery drawer and cabinet in the kitchen. I loved the proximity to trails for my dogs. The house is extremely dark and need big upgrades in lighting. Linens stuffed in evey dresser drawer so no place to put guests clothing. Proerty manager swapped her VRBO property for our stay here, which we are grateful for. Extenuating circumstances are the apparent cause of the poor upkeep.
We had such an amazing time this weekend in New Hampshire. We were able to stay in the Main House which was much more space then we thought we were going to have. The home is beautiful and has so much character. It had an amazing homey feeling which was great after a long scary drive in the bad weather. It was the perfect location to see the Ice Castles and to do some skiing at Loon. My sister and her boyfriend found a great hiking spot and took their dogs out hiking. The hosts were very responsive and made sure that everything was taken care of. We truly had a great weekend and loved staying here. We will absolutely be back :)
