My wife and I have been staying at various cabins in and around NH for a number of years. We like to find places in close proximity to the White Mountains for hiking. Benâs place is exactly the spot we have been looking for for years. It checked every box, close to the whites, attractions and great places to eat within a short driving distance. The cabin was super clean, private and comfortable. We loved ot and canât wait to go back.
I had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! It is quite cozy and has amazing views of the mountains. It is close to lots of trail heads. It is also very clean and the check in process is quite simple :)
This place is simply incredible! Highly recommend it! Every about it was a wonderful experience and the view out the front windows is the best motion picture.
Wonderful place to take a four day solo retreat.Comfortable with beautiful views, day and night, sunny or storming (rain, snow & freezing rain) - I experienced it all and enjoyed every minute of the "long long (but too short) weekend.""... And rising very early in the morning (Jesus) departed and went to an ISOLATED place, and there He prayed." Gospel of Mark 1: 35
We had a great stay. The cabin is clean, simple, and beautiful. The view from the screened front porch is the perfect way to start and end your days there.
Ben was great with communication and making sure we had a good stay. Can't recommend his place enough!
This is exactly what our family needed: a step away from traditional Thanksgiving stress in a remote mountain side cabin. Tons of hiking trails, stunning views, local businesses to patron, just absolute bliss.
Benâs cabin is amazing! So much that we want to come back here next time! My toddler almost 3 y and my wife stayed there for labour day weekend. Cabin has everything you need for simple cozy lifestyle! It is tucked in the woods while road to get there is very accessible.we grilled cooked and enjoyed the stay while having amazing views!
This cabin is just perfect! Itâs beautiful. I cannot say enough about it - super clean, beautiful surroundings, this was my husbandâs second time staying here and we will definitely be back. The kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed hiking in the area and the foliage was incredible!
This cozy rustic cabin suited our needs well. It had everything we needed and the cool mountain air was wonderful to sleep in. We highly recommend this location.
Beautiful Mountain Viewâs, cabin was perfect. No TV was great. Home owner was in touch when necessary for solar and any other questions. We had snow while there and driveway was taken care of. Highly recommend this place.
It was an absolute delight to stay here. The views are spectacular and the cabin is comfortable and well organized. The host is prompt and responsive as well.
Avid Hiker, which is what brought me to this property after hiking in the White Mountains for 25 years. Purchased the 17 acres of land six years ago and built the cabin in 2017 on weekends while camping on site. I like to refer to the property as My Side of the Mountain, because of the young adult book by the same name.
You are out in the middle of nature abutting the White Mountain National Forest with no neighbors within view and the closet one is about 0.4 miles.
This newly built cabin is 1200 feet up a gravel driveway and is off grid with a solar electric system with batteries. We have 12 volt LED lighting and AC power for the fridge, hot water heater and outlets. There are also USB charging stations for your phones and tablets. Cell phone reception is very good with Verizon and there is 4G and LTE service. The cabin does not have WIFI or a TV. It is meant as a getaway and to get unplugged. The cabin does have two propane direct vent heaters and a propane stove in the kitchen. The Kitchen does have an undercounter fridge, stove, and large sink, but does not have a dishwasher, microwave or coffee maker. We do have a teapot and french press. We also do not provide a hair dryer.
There are two mountain bikes, hiking poles, and snow shoes at the cabin. We also have the AMC guidebook and trail maps for the white mountains to borrow and return please. The 20 mile long Presidential Rail Trail bike path is about 1.5 miles from the cabin. There are binoculars, telescope, books, games, and lincoln logs for old and young to enjoy.
