Meet Your Home Away from Home
Waterfront home, with hot tub and barrel sauna, that will be 100% completed in early august. Photos are digital renderings of the nearly complete home, which are accurate to what it will actually look like. Please feel free to click on our host profile and review actual photographs of our other listings for a sense of the craftsmanship and dedication to quality that our team exemplifies (we would recommend looking at homes that we renovated, which include our two South Lyon homes, two Oak Park homes, Farmington Hills and Rochester Hills).
Our gorgeous, artistically-renovated waterfront home features five bedrooms and three full bathrooms in Linden! Relax on the deck with a built-in hot tub or gather around the fire pit next to the lake for cozy evenings (bring your own kindling & firewood)! If you're looking for a thrill, try out our cold plunge and our barrel sauna! The house is on the Shiawassee River which is a quiet, serene estuary that feeds into Lake Ponemah (though isn't accessible by boat). We have a dock and a kayak hoist along with two paddleboards, two kayaks, and life jackets for the whole family. Our backyard fire pit and sitting area, along with large yard, provide a wonderful setting for entertaining or as a secluded escape. Cook for the whole family in our gorgeous entertaining living room + kitchen area (or grill and enjoy the sunset on the deck) and roast s'mores in the fire pit after! This is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!
Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, Amazon Fire smart TVs, French Roast coffee pods + Keurig, a Nespresso machine and Nespresso pods, Memory Foam beds, fresh linens, in-home high-tech washer/dryer, Solimo bath products, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Message us if thereâs anything we can help with!

The kitchen, dining room, living room, stacked laundry set, primary bedroom and bathroom suite, two guest bedrooms and an additional shared guest bathroom are all located on the main level. An additional two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and our laundry room are located in the basement down a full flight of stairs.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

Our driveway fits up to three cars in tandem plus one car in our garage.
Please note thereâs no street parking on our street. If you need more parking space, there is extra free street parking available on nearby streets west of and east of us!

The home is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock on the front door. To enter, type the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, type that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.
Our Availability

We are available whenever you need! Please feel free to reach out via the app or website you booked on with any specific questions. For any health emergencies, please dial 911. If a system malfunctions (i.e., hot water not functioning or a light has gone out), please send us a message on the app or website you booked on and we will be sure to address it in as short a time as possible (we usually respond within a few minutes). We also have handymen, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers with whom we work, so for any extenuating circumstances, we will happily bring them out to solve your issues post haste!

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.
Extra Linens: Underneath the chaise section of the couch you will find four bath towels and four hand towels, four pillows, a comforter, and extra sets of sheets and pillowcases for the couch and air mattress.

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since weâre in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If youâre looking to host a small gathering, thatâs probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

The house is perfectly located for walking or a quick drive to downtown Linden, Silver Lake, Lake Ponemah, and Fenton. Roughly a 20-minute drive to Brighton, a 50-minute drive to Ann Arbor, and a 45-minute drive to the Woodward Corridor.
