Bright and spacious farm house retreat.

Our beautiful farmhouse is located on our family's fully functioning farm. The exterior of the house itself has a large yard with several mature trees and gazebos, with a main level and second story balcony, and a backyard patio perfect for grilling with farm views. Our house is equipped with all of your basic necessities to stay, and has plenty of room to spread out throughout the 4,100sqft. The master bedroom is complete with it's own attached full bathroom, large walk in closet, towel warmer and balcony access. Aside from the master bathroom, there's two full baths upstairs as well. With a living room and a den, there's plenty of room for a large group. Extra bonus rooms around the house include a home office, mudroom that also serves as a kitchenette, laundry room with a half bath, formal and casual dining rooms and a large/quiet sitting area upstairs with scenic two story windows. Pool and hot tub are available spring through fall. (Pool can be heated for $75/day)
*** Pool is currently OPEN for the Summer Season, and the hot tub will always remain OPEN.
***Please note that this is a fully functioning farm. Please do not cross the fence on the West side of the property, as there can be equipment or large animals.

Great for a quiet weekend!

The house was very clean. Worked very well for a group of 8-9 adults for a board game weekend. We will definitely be back again, maybe when the pool is open Communication was very easy and the hosts were super fast to respond to any questions we had.The only issue we ran into was the kitchen. It is very sparse and the range was not easy to use. There were no mixing bowls or baking dishes. There was a decent amount of pots and pans, but there were only 5 cereal bowls so when we made chili for everyone, we had to have some people eating out of mugs or solo cups. The range worked, but the dials have no indicators of heat/temps so it took some time to play with it and figure out high vs low. Some of the burners were a little temperamental, but we figured it out.Overall, the house fit our needs very well and was a great location for a weekend away from everything.

Enjoy Country Life!

The most WONDERFUL experience! We came back home and rented this beautiful home and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of room for the kids to run around, gorgeous views to wake up to, and everything you could need stocked. The hosts were so accommodating to our request. It was the most relaxing vacation we have had in a long tîme.

Family Getaway

The house and property were wonderful. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful. The pool was fantastic. There was plenty of room for our group and a great time was had by all. To nitpick, the grass should’ve been cut prior to our arrival if the last group had to be out by 11 and we didn’t arrive until 4. Also some small updates needed like being able to read the heat selector knobs on the oven. That said, I would absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again. Thanks Macy and Mallory for having us!

Spacious and Relaxing

Beautiful home. Lots of room for our large family. Beds were comfortable and the pool was nice. Enjoyed the hot tub and the views of the animals. Quiet area in the country but close enough to other areas to find things to get out to.

My sons wedding weekend

We had a wonderful stay. The wedding was at The Stone House Farm right down the road which made it convenient for us to go back and forth. I would recommend anyone having family getting married at The Stone House to rent this house. It has more than enough room for everyone.

Beautiful home

My family and I had an amazing stay over the New Year’s holiday. The house is absolutely beautiful and was decorated so nice for the holidays. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful. I had a few questions for the host during our stay and had very timely responses. If I had any recommendations to the hosts, it would be to have some Tupperware or large bowls available to use. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this amazing property.

Family Reunion

Stayed at Riverview House with my kids and grandkids for a family reunion there with my Mom, siblings and a few nieces and nephews. It was a perfect location and set up for us. The adults enjoy the peaceful setting and the kids enjoyed the pool and yard and viewing the cows. Our host Macy was very accommodating and responsive. Definitely recommend.

Wedding Weekend

This estate home on a working farm felt like we were in a Hallmark movie with our children coming home with our first grandchild. We absolutely loved this home and the property. We had three dogs with us and loved walking them around the very large estate. Lots to sniff at and look at cows. The home was very clean, spacious and had everything we could possibly have needed. I loved soaking in the hot tub with my son-in-laws having some adult beverages. We hope to find a way to return because this place is comfortable, spacious and stunning.

This rental was great for a larger group of people. It's a huge house with plenty of outdoor space so we never felt like there were too many people in the house. The hot tub and the pool were great amenities! We did purchase the option to heat the pool, but I wonder if it works better if you're staying for a longer period of time (we were only there for a weekend) because we didn't really notice the pool feeling warm -- luckily it was super hot so it worked out. The hosts are great and super communicative. Plenty of towels and dishes. Ample parking. Would recommend this rental for anyone with a large group of people.

Magical Christmas

Our family stayed 3 days over Christmas. This house did not dissapoint! Everything was exactly as stated and impeccably clean and well maintained. The owener was quick to respond and easy to work with. We arrived to find the house fully decorated for Christmas, including 2 beautifully decorated trees inside the house- what a perfect Christmas surprise. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your families home with us. See you next time!

Some hiccups, but overall a good stay

I rented this house for a bachelorette weekend for my sister. Communication with the host was always very quick and friendly. We had many hiccups during check-in. We were told we could check in at 4 PM, but the listing said check-in was 3 PM. While the host allowed us to come at the 3 PM time that was advertised, it was clear they were not ready for us. They were filling up the pool with water when we arrived and they had just finished filling up the hot tub. Luckily we had plans to go out Saturday night, otherwise it would have been really disappointing to have an ice cold hot tub and halfway-filled pool upon arrival. Once we began unpacking I noticed a few more setbacks - the house had no paper towel, empty hand soaps in every bathroom, and it was clear they had just turned on the AC and refrigerator that day. Therefore the house was uncomfortably hot and the fridge was warm. I had to buy paper towel and fill coolers with ice to keep my food cold (ice and paper towel at my expense). The listing promised paper towel, hand soap, and an ice maker - and I also discovered during check-in the ice maker didn't work. The other unexpected thing was that we were told on our second day that to heat the pool was $50/day - a fee that is not listed in the VRBO listing anywhere. I have screenshots to prove this. They offered to "heat the pool for free" that day due to the confusion, but it didn't matter because it was brand new cold water that they filled up the pool with while we were checking in the day before, and even with the heater supposedly running the second day, the pool never increased in temperature. This just seemed like false advertising but we sucked it up and swam in an ice cold pool. Besides these main issues, the house was pretty clean, spacious, and had a lot of amenities we enjoyed like the TVs, family/living rooms, and hot tub once it warmed up. The property is beautiful and it was a nice getaway for the weekend. I would recommend this property to renters but I think the hosts have some things to work on to make the experience less frustrating for the renter. Thank you for the stay.
