Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, close to the beach club sitting on a beautiful golf course. Great sun light, well appointed and stocked. It feels new-ishly renovated and up to date on design. Love having the bike and beach chairs. It was myself, wife, daughter, daughter friend and everyone was happy. Have rented many spots in Sea Pines and we’d come back here. Well done.

We loved the location of this rental. A quick bike to the beach, and harbor town. The home was recently renovated and is great, and kitchen was well stocked as well. The couches and beds are a bit old and the mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable. Surface cleaning was fine, but the home could use a thorough cleaning. Under the beds were very dirty, and air vents and AC were very dirty as well.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the place is great. Only two items that need addressing. The kitchen floor is buckling in a trip hazard due to the age. The facility was cleaned average. Maintenance and rental facility personnel work extremely kind and helpful with a few small issues

False title

Didn’t actually even get to stay here because it was listed with “PETS ALLOWED” in the title which was a lie. Hilton Head island rentals moved us to a different property when I said we would be bringing a support animal. The new property was more expensive and not located in sea pines and the person we communicated with was extremely rude. Highly recommend not renting any property from Hilton Head Island Rentals.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay this past weekend. The unit is perfectly located and was very clean. We had enough room for all of us on the patio overlooking the golf course. The media room/den was a nice gathering spot. Only drawback was no 1/2 bath on the first floor.Beds were very comfortable but the sofa bed was not. It should be replaced. Also, some basic spices and condiments would be great but perhaps they get tossed by the cleaners each time? Some tupperware/food storage would be great Overall the kitchen is very well stocked but we were surprised there wasn't a cheese grater!

PERFECTLY LOCATED COMFORTABLE VILLA

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the golf course view and the beautiful Sea Pines location of this villa. Furniture was comfortable but the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced before it is rented again. The appliances worked but knob on the dryer was missing. UNFORTUNATELY, the unit is in need of a very deep clean and an entire paint job. Carpet was spotted and dirty all over. Property manager offered to have the carpet cleaned for us with a days notice and said unit was to be deep cleaned soon. But in looking at the woodwork and behind the bed, dressers and nightstands it couldn't have been cleaned in a number of years. IF THIS UNIT WERE CLEANER we would gladly rent it again in the future.

Thank you for your feedback, each unit receives an annual deep clean in the offseason, and this unit had not received its deep clean yet. As a pet friendly unit, they tend to accumulate slightly more dust and dirt than a normal unit, which makes the deep cleans that much more important. The deep clean was scheduled for just after your departure.

2nd time at same unit

This was our second time staying at this property. In 4 years you can tell it’s been vrbo, dining room table, floor, bathroom vanity all had excess signs of wear. What was once new it’s starting to look rough. Refrigerator took entire 24 hours to get cold. We walked in on pest control having access to our unit with out prior notification. Mattress pad had stains and should have been changed in between guests. Mang. Company did give us compensation however, I would have rather not had the stress and anxiety of walking into a stranger in our unit. My husband is retired cop, this could have been a very dangers situation for pest control as well as a liability of our personal belongings as we just stepped out for short few minutes. Locked door. Unfortunately I will we not be staying with this manager company again in future stays in HH.as we come several times a year .

Thank you for the review, Kristen. These properties do get a little beaten up over the years. We try to stay on top of it, but it is up to the owner as to what work will be done and when. So sorry about the intrusion. I understand that that can cause anxiety. THere are certainly times where there has been miscommunication between vendors and management companies as to timing. THe company should never have entered after seeing that belongings had already been dropped off. While I understand your frustrations, I do hope that you will give us another chance.

Our stay

Property was in a great location with the golf course behind villa! Check in and out process was a breeze. Overall the cleanliness of the property was poor. There was hair from the previous group in all of the showers plus the one bath upstairs which is where we bathed our children one of them being a newborn. We had to clean the showers and tubs ourselves after arrival. I do not feel like we should have to clean after paying for the rental and fees associated with it. The freezer/ refrigerator was leaking water out into the kitchen. Individual came out the same day of call to fix it and said he tightened around the water line…. It was still leaking the next morning ( we had a toddler with us and having water leaking in the floor is frustrating) The shower in the master bedroom does not drain and you are standing in a pool of water by the end of the shower. Thermostat/ ac unit stopped working and it was 75 two of the nights we were there which was miserable when trying to sleep. The managers got someone out to fix the issue later that afternoon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property needs a deep clean and some attention to detail. The fridge leaks a lot of water from the bottom left corner. The screen door is not attached and falls off. The sliding door to the patio does not lock. The unit smelled like urine upon entering. Bikes were in decent condition as were beach chairs, a couple were old though. Bathrooms are very small. Overall a good property but could use attention to detail.
