Lovely 4 Bedroom Adobe Minutes to Plaza & Dog-Friendly

Casa Alia is a lovely four-bedroom Adobe, just minutes to the Plaza. This home has a large, private, walled backyard in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Guests are 5 minutes by car and a 20-minute walk along the Santa Fe River to downtown. A coffee shop, a grocery store, and restaurants are within three blocks.

The covered portal features a BBQ grill, dining table, kiva fireplace, and is an ideal place for entertaining and enjoying time with family, friends, and pets. There is a double driveway for parking as well as free off-street parking.

4 bedrooms / 3 baths.

Guest Room #1 (The Master Suite) has a king bed, a full Bath with a shower, a Kitchenette, a sitting Area, and a Private Entrance.

Guest Room #2 has a California King-sized pillow-top bed, a closet, a large screen TV, and a bench. It shares a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo with Guest Room #4.

Guest Room #3 has a queen bed, a closet, and a private bath with a Shower.

Guest Room # 4 has a queen bed, a closet, and shares a full bathroom with a Shower/Tub Combo with Guest Room #2.

All Bathrooms have Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hair Dryer, and Hand Soap.

The Kitchen

The kitchen in the Main House is well appointed for Simple or Gourmet meals, baking, and holiday entertaining. It has a separate bar cabinet for fancy cocktails with barware and specialty glasses. There is a stove/range, refrigerator/freezer, plates, bowls, utensils, knives, and other kitchen amenities. There is a drip coffee maker, a Nespresso machine, a toaster, and lots of cabinets for the storage of food and snacks. We provide coffee, tea, spices, oil, etc. Please note: there is no dishwasher. A breakfast bar connects the Kktchen with the living area

The Living Room / Dining Room:
The Living room has a comfortable sectional and a large flat-screen smart TV with Netflix and local channels. We do NOT provide cable television, but you are welcome to log in to your account(s) on the smart TV to access any of your favorite streaming services, i.e., Prime, HBO, Hulu, etc.

Other Amenities:
There is High-Speed Internet throughout the property, and a Security System for your use.

Backyard Common Area:
The large, walled private backyard is great for entertaining or relaxing by the Kiva Fireplace. There are two separate outdoor dining tables: one under the portal and one in the yard with an umbrella. The yard is landscaped with pet grass and mature trees.
The backyard is connected to both the Master Suite and the Main House. There is a 2-burner BBQ on the premises for your use.

A separate Laundry room with detergent and other household cleaning items.

We have a Pack n Play with an additional mattress and sheets, so it may double as an infant/toddler bed and can be set up in any room as desired

There is a High chair that can be used at the dining room or kitchen table.

Dogs:
We love Dogs.
You must notify us of how many dogs you are bringing upon making your reservation. There is no pet fee for 1 dog. There is a $25 pet fee per night for 2 dogs. (See more information below) By the way, the biggest and most beautiful dog park is just up the hill! 138 acres of open spaces and trails to let your dog run and socialize with other four-legged friends. Guests have access to the entire home, yard, and laundry room

It is a self-check-in process at Casa Alia. However, I am available if needed.

The Casa Solana neighborhood is within walking distance of downtown. It is a lovely stroll along the river on Alameda Street all the way there (about 15 minutes). There is a great park opposite the river called Alto Park. Just a few blocks away are the La Montanita Co-Op, Better Day Coffee, and Valentino's authentic Mexican restaurant. This neighborhood is quiet, safe, and inhabited by friendly local families. Santa Fe has a lot to offer, including fine dining, outdoor activities, art galleries, farmer's markets, Native American culture, and lots of local shopping. This is available online as well as a printed version in our house manual in Casa Alia.

One important note: Santa Fe has very strict DUI laws. If you drive to local restaurants or bars, make sure you have a designated driver or walk to be on the safe side (if needed).

We highly recommend renting a car. If you are flying into the ABQ airport, there are many options available. If you are flying into the Santa Fe airport, Hertz is available there. Many places in downtown are walking distance from the house, but if you would like to explore outside of Santa Fe, having a car is essential.

There is a bus stop located on Alameda Street, which is just down the street, and it is a straight shot and a short ride to downtown.

Rental bikes are also a great way to get around downtown. Mello Vello is not too far, and they have different types of bikes that fit your specific needs, whether you plan on mountain biking, just cruising around town, or wanting to do some serious road biking.

There is a train that runs from Belen to Santa Fe with stops in Albuquerque and everywhere in between. It is, unfortunately, not located close to the airport, but it is a fun way to travel up and down the state of New Mexico.

• GUESTS MUST PICK UP AFTER THEIR PET AND DISPOSE OF ANY PET WASTE FROM THE YARD IN THE TRASH CAN IN THE CORRAL NEAR THE SIDEWALK. THERE WILL BE A $200 FINE IF YOU DO NOT CLEAN UP PET WASTE. Also, Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Please be considerate and observe this rule.

• WE DO NOT ALLOW CATS OR OTHER PETS. DOGS ONLY.
• Pack n Play with mattress and high chair will be stored in the hall closet when you first enter the home
• The number and age of guests in the reservation must match the number and age of guests staying in our home.
• Please be considerate of our neighbors.
• No parties or events of any kind without prior authorization from us.
• Self-check-in with lockbox. Please be respectful of property, furniture, carpets, etc.. We have invested time, energy, and money to make Casa Alia beautiful and clean, and want to maintain it for our valued guests.
• Dogs welcome! Maximum 2 dogs allowed. You must notify us of the number of dogs you are bringing. No pet fee for one dog; There is a $25 per day fee for a second dog.
•Backyard is fenced and secure, and 4' tall.
• GUESTS MUST PICK UP AFTER THEIR PET, AND DISPOSE OF ANY PET WASTE FROM THE YARD IN THE TRASH CAN (trash can located in the corral near the sidewalk next to the driveway). /FAILURE TO PICKUP PET WASTE AND DISPOSE OF IT WILL RESULT IN A $200 FEE.
• No dogs on the furniture or beds. If you need to leave your dog at the house for any length of time, please put them in a crate or one of the bathrooms or the laundry room.
• Absolutely no smoking on the property
• Do not disturb the neighbors with loud noise
• Trash will need to be placed on the curb Sunday evening for Monday pick-up
• A detailed inventory is kept on all items at CasaAlia. Please be respectful of items belonging to the house and let us know if something is broken during your stay.
• If renting bicycles, please enter through the side gate on the right side of the house and put them in the laundry room in the back of the house.
• Guests are allowed during the day, but no more than 8 people (5 or over ) allowed to stay in the house overnight. Infants are exempt.
• No dogs on the furniture or beds. If you need to leave your dog at the house for any length of time, please put them in a crate or one of the bathrooms or the laundry room.
• $500 Security Deposit. This will not be charged to your card unless there is damage to the property or items are missing. We will inspect the property upon checkout to determine if there is any damage.
• Please leave the key in the lockbox every time you come and go from the property to ensure the key will not be lost. If a key is lost, a $50 replacement key/lock system fee will be charged to your account.
