We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving stay in this lovely accommodation--every bit as advertized.
This is a lovely accommodation for a family gathering or 3-4 couples. Right on the Hood Canal, the views are impressive. Windows all around and skylights make for a light and cheery atmosphere. Well equiped kitchen with excellent appliances. There is a very large deck with seating areas and access to the beach. The property is adjacent to a state park which offers nice walking/hiking opportunities. The only downside in our 4-night stay was having to leave on Sunday!
The whole family agreed this is a place to which we hope to return.
Glorious views, surrounded by wildlife!
We stayed at Tom & Mary's place for a night in early November to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday with a few of her friends. The views were magical-- elk on the way in, seals playing in the waves at the mouth of the river in the AM. The house was just as described (beautiful views, lots of deck seating, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen) and our daughter and her friends enjoyed having the apartment to themselves for the night, plus 1 mom to chaperone). And we enjoyed our leisurely lunch at Hama Hama Oyster saloon on the way home.
Tom was very responsive and thoughtfully answered all our questions. We will definitely come back, hopefully with more days to paddle the boats around the beautiful estuary and watch the birds from all three decks-- a special place indeed-- must be amazing in summer!

We pinch ourselves everytime we go stay in Brinnon. The seals really own the water and when they play and talk to each other it is fun to sit and listen. Thank you for all the kind words Anne and we hope you come back when the girls soccer slows down.

Family weekend at the Hood Canal!!!
Before we got to the house we stopped at HAMA HAMA for a bushel of oysters and were able to dig clams on the north side of Dosewallips. Lots of fresh seafood!! Beautiful house with great views. Huge deck for enjoying time outdoors. Large sunroom for kids room or family pets. Good access to beach!! The two bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. A hot tub would be a awesome addition to this property!!!
Thank you so much Billy for taking the time to write about our great spot in Brinnon. We hope to see you guys again soon.

Beautiful home right on the water with breathtaking views from every room. We spent the weekend there and didn’t want to leave. Tom was extremely accommodating and was readily available with anything we needed. My husband wanted me to make sure I said how comfortable the beds are :) We have stayed in quite a few rental homes and it is very hard to find a comfy bed. The wildlife was amazing and we listened to the sea lions talking to each other at night right off the back deck. The wood burning stove was an added bonus on the chilly nights and you can tell a lot of thought goes into stocking the house with all the amenities you would need to make this your home away from home. I would highly recommend this home.
Nature, Beauty and Relaxation
Tom and Mary are great hosts and their house is so relaxing. In general, the house is very clean and well maintained with a beautiful garden and lots of deck seating to enjoy looking over the Hood Canal. We were able to see a herd of 30 Elk at Dosawallips park from the deck and did the easy walk over to see them up close. So much wildlife to enjoy right off the deck or using the canoe that is provided. Couldn't recommend this house more for anyone wanting to get away and just sit on a deck looking at nature and wild life just in front of you.
Thanks for your thoughts Cory and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Although Brinnon is just two hours from Seattle, it really is a world away.
