GREAT care in placing furnishings and accessories was taken in making this house not just another beach rental but more like your own personal sanctuary!! The house was simply amazing in all aspects and the view and beach access…well that goes without saying - TOP NOTCH!!

Great location for a relaxing waterfront getaway. While the house is a bit dated, it’s comfortable and can accommodate a large family with pets. Surrounding property was great for playing lawn games and enjoying the wonderful view. We really enjoyed beachcombing and kayaking and our dogs had a great time playing in the water. Lots of wildlife including orcas!

The seclusion and tranquility of Thorndyke Lodge are the perfect remedy to the pandemonium of the city on the 4th of July. The property is perfect. Lots for kids to explore, and lots of yard for games. We so appreciated the "Waltons" dining table and the large mud room for all of our things and activities. The beds were clean and comfy, the bathrooms clean, and the kitchen well stocked. We are already planning next year!

The host was welcoming and they were very proactive about sending instructions ahead of time, making check-in and check-out that much easier! The home was lovely - tidy and clean upon arrival, and the beds were comfortable. The home had everything we needed to relax and unwind - it was a great experience! Would highly recommend this home to others :)

Cozy get away straight into nature

We had a great time staying out at this location. The cabin was cozy and well stocked. The vibes and surrounding nature was such a great treat. Would recommend.
