L'océan n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied du Sandpiper. Troisième maison du front de mer sans routes à traverser. Votre famille appréciera le grand accès à la plage, la pêche, les magasins et les restaurants de la région!
Cette maison est située dans Fisherman's Heaven avec Surfishing juste devant votre porte, la jet��e de pêche de Outer Banks n'est qu'à quelques minutes de route, tout comme les centres de pêche de l'Oregon Inlet et de Pirates Cove pour la pêche au large. Le centre commercial Tanger Outlet, le centre commercial Outer Banks et de nombreux autres magasins sont situés à quelques kilomètres de cette maison de plage. Nags Head regorge également d'excellents restaurants, dont beaucoup sont les favoris locaux!

Nice house, great stay!

Overall we had a great stay. The street is quiet and close to everything. The bathrooms could use a better cleaning.

The location is wonderful with great access to the beach; the screened porch great for relaxing and listening to the ocean; however, the interior needs painting badly and the screen on the door torn. the new deck is beautiful for relaxing in late afternoon. The interior has been tastefully furnished, and is quite comfortable - but the lovely floors are being damaged with inadequate care and the seating area could use more lighting. the cottage is cozy and well appointed. we would return for another stay.

Sweet Rustic Small Beach House

This was the perfect little house for my cousin and me and her two little pug dogs. We loved the kitchen. We ate all of our meals at the house. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. The closest beach access was a bit narrow for us. We used the public beach access about a block away. We loaded my beach cart and walked along the main road to the beach access. That was much easier for us two old broads!! 😊 We loved this place and we plan to return next year.

OK stay - great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic, home needs some work. The good - close to the beach, great location for young children. Easy access to Roanoke, bait shops, piers, and oregon inlet. Beach was lovely. Had everything needed for cookware, garage had toys, boogie boards, and extra beach chairs if you didn't bring your own. Ample storage space if the weather is bad and you want to keep things dry. Parking for 2-3 cars if needed.The Bad - AC units are loud but liveable. Floor in the main bathroom is soft, bouncy, and some of the vynal tiles are coming up. Washer only works on hot water and the sign saying management knows isn't very useful as we should have been told ahead of time. Dryer also needs to be replaced as we had to run it through multiple times to dry small loads. Fridge and freezer door doesn't seal properly and if you're not careful you could end up leaving the fridge door or freezer door open, luckily we noticed it right away. When we arrived we needed to vacuum the floors and furniture as it was covered in sand and previous dog hair. The most frustrating thing was that there was no working long hose outside, the one we found was broken and the house is completely surrounded by sand. Rinsing off beach stuff and fishing equipment was basically impossible.Overall the location makes this property returnable but it certainly needs some updates. It's good for a family of 4. Any more people than that and it would be tight, especially if you're stuck inside due to some weather. I would probably return to the property again in a pinch due to the location.

Reviewer Comments: The house is amazing BUT i had to deep clean when i arrived. i found shards of glass in the carpet and the dust was really bad! Not to mention the pet hair. We brought a dog that does not shed but ended up being covered in dog hair. the couches need to be properly cleaned. You should consider a new cleaning service.

Perfect Beach Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of four plus golden retriever thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the Sandpiper Cottage. We felt right at home with the updated furnishings and we appreciated the themed bedrooms and beach sentiment signs throughout the house. Our favorite aspects were the super close proximity to the beach and the screened in porch. Only drawbacks were the somewhat noisy window A/C boxes (can interfere with sleep if you’re not used to this) and the hall bath is in desperate need of a new toilet seat. Overall we had a spectacular week staying S Nags Head and are grateful for the use of this beach cottage.

Close to beach. Nice closed in deck. Floorboard on deck needs fixed. It is sagging and the right sized person will break through it. Living room furniture is very uncomfortable

The property is in need of a reno. The porch, deck and stairs are not as safe as they could be with soft boards etc. The items in the house had everything you would need and put together in a cute way. Location and access to the beach was great. The rental company needs to start using Google Docs or some sort of online doc service. I had to print out sign everything and hand mail them in. Also glad to see you had a key code so why did I need to stop at office for papers?

Great news the home is getting new deck and windows. I agree with you the home is very cute and well stocked. We are upgrading our system to make the process of signing the lease more convenient but are not there yet. We hope to see you again in 2023.

We enjoyed the deck every morning with coffee and chilling after a early morning walk on the beach with our dogs. The garage offered extra space to store our bikes and beach stuff. We met some awesome rental neighbors during our stay. The location was close enough to stores and the extra wide sidewalk allowed us easy travels from the house to stores with our bikes.

Nice quiet getaway

South nags head beach house

The house was third back from the beach at a very short walk. The little blue house was decorated beautifully and very clean. They had a washer and dryer which was great and a grill that we did use. Overall we Felt right at home

Great location, dog friendly

We had a great experience staying at this property. The house location is perfect for beach lovers with a very short walk to the beach. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere but if you're looking for a relaxed, no worry spot close to the beach, this is it!! Yes the house needs a few repairs (screen door was ripped, hole in wall of middle bedroom, stains on the rug, scratches on wooden floor) but those are minor and what a lived in house looks like. We loved that it is dog friendly and has a decent size deck that our pups could sunbathers on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Like the closeness to to beach and the proximity of things around us. Good location if taking day trips up to Currituck or down to Ocracoke. Very clean when we arrived. Loved the porch. Wish it had central air but the window units were fine. Liked that it was dog friendly

Sandpiper Cottage is our fave!

We spent a wonderful week of 5/21-5/29 at the cottage. It was adorable and had everything we needed to feel right at home! The very short walk to the beach and the sound of waves crashing from the screened in porch made for relaxing mornings and evenings. Loved being able to enjoy the sunsets as well with the wraparound porch. We will most definitely return!
