Charming Cottage, South Nags Head, 5 min walk to the beach

We live outside of Chicago, IL and have been traveling as often as we can to South Nags Head, for over 50 years. South Nags Head is a very special place. We love the sea air, the ever changing ocean, the wild life, the time with family or a solo walk, great food and so much to see and do in the area.
We love sharing the joy of our cottage home with others, so they can experience this memorable area.

You will find our home to be peaceful, have comfortable furniture but not over furnished, attractive with a sprinkle of whimsical. We have created various enjoyable gathering places for family and friends...along with places to slip away for private time. The screen porch and under the house are favorites. The sun sets and seeing the light house in the distance and the stars at night and the 2 outdoor showers...these things never get old!

The home is Well Stocked!!! There are the paper goods; tp, paper towels, napkins and tissues. Dish soap, dish towels, hand soaps and trash bags. There are many spices, flour and sugar(s), various condiments and usually syrup and sometimes pancake mix. Of course hair dryers, sowing kit, nail polish remover and cotton swabs...you are getting the jest. The kitchen for example has an air fryer and has both types of coffee makers and filters for the by the pot maker and filters for the one cup at a time maker...Bring Coffee and Creamer. We have a couple of beach bikes, a beach cart, a few beach chairs, boogey boards, too many kids beach toys...Bring an Umbrella those are hard to keep in working order. Bring extra beach chairs if that's what folks like. Oh yea, we have coolers and a frig with an ice maker on the ground level and a fish cleaning station on the north side of the house.

There are games and DVDs with a player and various books! The great room tv is a smart tv. We have 22 various cable stations and Roku on the main and the master tv. No CD player.
