Maison unifamiliale nouvellement construite à distance de marche de la plage de Short Sands et du centre-ville de York Beach. La maison a un plancher de bois franc partout, air climatisé central, foyer au gaz w / d, d / w, élimination des ordures, wifi / cùble, chambre principale au premier étage avec terrasse privée, 2 chambres au deuxiÚme étage (plein et deux jumeaux dans chaque ) avec salle de bain complÚte. La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée. Parking pour quatre véhicules. Parfait pour les grandes familles et les petits enfants. Séjour minimum été 2020 4 nuits. Week-end automne / hiver séjour minimum de 2 nuits. Les annulations ne sont pas remboursables.

York family vacation

We had a great time at Joanne’s place! There was 10 of us
6 adults and our 4 grandsons from 10 yrs old to 7 months. There was plenty of space for all. I especially liked the outside space
 grilling area with places to eat, great fire pit..outside shower and lawn area for games. The porches were awesome. The house was immaculate and had everything we might want. The walk to long sands was @ 15 minutes or a quick ride by car. Overall a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Joanne, hope to be back!!

Wonderful Vacation!

This house was perfect for myself, my husband, both our daughters and their husbands, and our four grandchildren ranging from 2 years old to 8 years old. The location was wonderful -- easy walking distance to the beach and some stores. The house was super clean with plenty of paper goods. It also had a lovely backyard. We would enjoy returning here for another vacation.

Priceless family memories!!!

Joanne made us feel welcome and at home, she has a lovely abode! We had the honors of being the first to fire her new Solo Stove Yukon and relax in the Adirondack Chairs mesmerized by the beautiful flames while toasting marshmallows for S’mores. The location of her home is beautiful, quiet, safe for little ones as it’s on a dead end road, and convenient as we were 3-5 minutes from the village of York Beach, Long & Short Sands beaches, the zoo, restaurants, shopping
. Joanne had wonderful suggestions for all that we wanted to do and explore. Our vacation was fun, relaxing and absolutely amazing and we look forward to our next visit!!!

Beautiful and comfortable

We had a wonderful time here. The home has all of the amenities that you could possibly need and is immaculate. The upstairs bedrooms are large (each with a double and two twins) and the downstairs bedroom has a large walkin closet, bathroom, and private deck. The larger screened in porch allows for a nice evening out. The backyard is large with a fun firepit and Joann has lots of lawn games that you can use if you choose to. There is a patio area with a gas grill and large picnic table, perfect for a lobster feed (you can get the lobsters just up the road all cooked and Joann has all of the implements needed to eat them!) The home is only about a 5-10 minute walk to Short Sands Beach and the small commercial district with fun gift shops, snack places, etc. I would definitely recommend this home!

Family Summer Long Weekend

Our family takes a summer long weekend together each year, my grown children and their children, this year my best friend from high s hook, from Texas, joined us. The location at the end of a culdesac was perfect. Within walking distance of the beach, zoo, and activities. If you have small children and walking I would suggest bringing a wagon, stroller, etc. the property has a wagon, best utilized for transporting supplies, beach toys etc. not mentioned in the listing is a brand new outdoor shower. PERFECT. When you spend a day at the beach with the grand babies in sand, it’s amazing how much sand you bring back. The property is gorgeous, well stocked, clean. Highlights the balcony and s reined in porch for young children to play safely. We plan on returning.

Modern and spacious location - Close to everything!

My family stays at York Beach every year. This rental was a breath of fresh air. Our first reaction when walking in to the house was "WOW!" It's beautiful, spacious, and modern. Joanne is a wonderful host. We noticed a small problem due to a mis-communication in the Home Away app. Joanne showed up in just a few minutes and helped us fix it. GREAT CUSTOMER CARE! The location is very convenient. You feel like you in the woods, secluded from everything. However, you're actually walking distance to Short Sands. Every morning, I woke up and walked down to get coffee. Best of both worlds. One last note. Too many times, I feel that the beds at these rental homes are the old bed from the owners home. Worn out and super uncomfortable. This was the exact opposite experience. Every mattress was a brand new memory foam model. I slept better than I have in any rental. I will recommend this rental to friends and colleagues and I plan to rent this house again next year.

Perfect!!

Tout Ă©tait parfait du dĂ©but Ă  la fin. L’arrivĂ©e s’est faite sans souci, les installations Ă©taient exactement comme dĂ©crites, et la gentillesse de notre hĂŽte a rendu notre sĂ©jour encore plus merveilleux. Un vrai rĂȘve Ă©veillĂ©. Nous avons dĂ©jĂ  hĂąte de revenir ! / Everything was perfect from start to finish. The arrival went smoothly, the facilities were exactly as described, and the kindness of our host made our stay even more wonderful. A true dream come true. We can’t wait to come back!

My daughters , grandson & I were very thrilled about the location how the house was layed out, the use of the kitchen, several bathrooms, use of lawnchairs * even the fire pit. Towels were plentiful & the upstairs shower w/the pebble floor was very refreshing. We had no complaints, delighyed the whole stay..would love to stay w/Joanne's house again.

We were a group of five women friends having a "girl's week". The house and location were perfect for us! Plenty of room for us all to sleep comfortably, make & share food, sit on the deck to talk, and easily walk to York Beach Village & Short Sands Beach. Joanne was a lovely host: great communication, great check in, great stay!

Wonderfully clean, kitchen is fully stocked, having linens on the bed is such a nice perk, and they’re cotton! Plenty of towels, extra blankets, even a buggy to bring things to the beach which is super close by. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful house and excellent location!

The house was just as described and the pictures listed. Clean and fully stocked with everything you need and more. Beds were so comfortable and the entire house was warm and welcoming! Joanne was super friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk to short sands and downtown, there is a shortcut right outside the house (have to cross Rt 1 and lift strollers or carts over rocks but shaves off a little bit of miles and time). For the lobster lovers, order from Off The Boat Lobster and they steam em for ya. (Cash only) Joanne has all you need for eating and enjoying! Best lobster ever! Outdoor shower was amazing to rinse off the sand! Highly recommend for families to have a nice getaway and hit the beach/shops/restaurants.

Wonderful family vacation home

Our family (7 adults and 1 infant) enjoyed our 5-day stay. It was an easy walk to the zoo, beach and shops. The grounds were lovely and the house was fully equipped with supplies and necessities. Joanne was very helpful throughout the process.

Beautiful Home

It was a perfect place for our get together. Us 6 woman had plenty of space and a good time was had by all. Joanne welcomed us, showed us around the place and was very accommodating. Home was easy access to Ogunquit and York.

Beautiful property

Lovely spot and enjoyed watching the ducks and geese at the pond. If the weather had been better we would have really enjoyed the fire pit area. It’s a really nice neighborhood and everything is a short drive. The beds are comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. Love the fireplace and open concept living area! Thank you for a great stay!
