Cape Style Home qui a été fraîchement peint avec de nouveaux comptoirs de cuisine et de granit. Deux salons avec cheminée à gaz dans l'un d'entre eux. Plateau fraîchement peint du salon avec piscine au-dessus du sol. Marchez de la salle de séjour à la piscine en deux étapes. Il y a deux chambres à l'étage (une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec un lit complet). Il y a un sous-sol partiellement aménagé avec une chambre et un lit queen. Beaux jardins et arrière-cour.

Quiet getaway while staying close to some restaurants

The house was quiet and roomy. The parking was great and the road wasn't a main road so it was great to have some peace and quiet. The house is also not too far away from restaurants which was great.

There was plenty of space for the whole family, and the pool was wonderful. The location was also great for getting to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Had a great stay. Was too chilly to use the pool but it was very clean. Home was very clean and fit 4 adults and 2 children just perfect. Would stay again if we come back to the area.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie’s house. It was very comfortable and a good location in a quiet area. It was just the right distance away from the busy Bar Harbor. It was too chilly to enjoy the above ground pool, but we loved the fire pit! The beds were comfortable and they have plenty of kitchen things for making a few meals at home. Loved the area and exploring Acadia! Would stay again.

Family vacation

The home was beautifully decorated, and felt welcoming and cozy. It had all the amenities of home, and we especially enjoyed the pool. It was nice being in a quiet neighborhood, but not too far from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Perfect for us!

This house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 dogs. We spent most of our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia but dinners and games after will be lasting memories!

It was a cute house providing a great launch point for our exploration of Acadia NP!

The house was nice and homey. The outside space with the deck and pool was awesome! The kids had such a blast running around the yard and playing in the pool! The grill made it nice as we could cook dinner and play at the same time. Convenient drive to Acadia NP and the Lamoine beach!

Beautiful inside and out!

What a great house! Our family loved the amount of room inside of the house, the beautiful decor, space outside for the kids to run, the pool with a very private wooded backyard, and proximity to Acadia / Bar Harbor. Quite honestly, the pictures didn’t do it justice. I highly recommended it to anyone visiting the area.

Host family was very easy to work with.

We were very pleased with the attentiveness of the host family. They were very quick to plow, empty garbage, return calls, refund security payments, etc. The accommodations were clean and spacious. Brand new kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures. We would definitely recommend it to others looking in the area.

Good for Families...Great pool !

Our grandkids really loved the pool. The house was clean and spacious. It was about 20 miles from Acadia /Bar Harbor.areas. Communication was good with host. We requested extra towels and had them the next morning. SENIORS may not be comfortable in this house because the stairs are narrow, steep and have no hand rails, and there is no bathroom on the floors where the sleeping areas are. Also , if you mind the heat, only the LR and one bedroom are airconditioned. The other upstairs bedroom was too hot to sleep in, even with a fan, while we were there in July.

Lamoine Home Review

Enjoyed stay at this property that was quiet and peaceful setting! Updated kitchen that was well equipped and had necessary/basic kitchen spices etc. Nice dining/eating area that would seat at least six. Family room area great with TV and area for relaxing. Only bathroom with shower/tub is on main level with two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom in basement. Bed comfortable and had small AC unit that we used for the first night. Also, had above ground pool but due to cool/rainy October weather did not use. Had access to laundry which was very nice. Nice drive to Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park-which was beautiful with peak leaf colors! Drove to Schoondic area and also beautiful drive even in the rain! Bar Harbor typical tourist area with shopping, restaurants etc. Would have loved to try bikes on Carriage Trail but due to weather and time restraints unable to do that this trip. Would give a 5 star rating if bathroom was on same floor as bedroom. Thanks Vicki for great place!

Had a great stay!

Valerie's house was clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Great location for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia, and close to anything you could need in Ellsworth. The pool was very refreshing after a day of hiking! We would definitely stay again in the future!

Wonderful stay near Acadia

The house is very clean and we had plenty of room for our family. The pool and outside area are well kept and the kids enjoyed swimming. All the comforts of home and communication with owners was very easy.

Beautiful Property close to Acadia and Bar Harbor

Valerie was a wonderful host. The house was a great place for our family to land after busy days in and around Acadia. It's about a 30 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Proximity to Ellsworth makes grocery runs and other necessities very convenient.

Great stay

Nice little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. The wonderful weather and setting made us not want to leave! So peaceful! It’s just a short drive to Walmart and other stores and convenient for visiting Acadia National Park and other area attractions. The only thing that could make it better is if the bathroom was on the same level as the bedrooms or if the stairs were less steep—a little difficult to navigate steep stairs in an unfamiliar house in the middle of the night, especially for an older person! Thankfully though, the sofas are both comfortable to sleep on. Valerie was so kind and communicated very quickly. She set up an air mattress for us in the basement and we were all comfortable. Thank you Valerie!

Great place!

Wonderful house near Bar Harbor and convenient to Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park. 3 double or queen beds, full kitchen, laundry available, above-ground pool (not used, we were there for Acadia) and a fire pit. No air conditioning but even in July, we didn't need it. Quiet, would be a great place to relax, except too much to see and do in the area. My only regret? We didn't stay longer!

I am a school teacher, and have 5 grandchildren. We are only a few miles away if you need anything during your stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It is like being in a brand new home! We are located on a quiet road, but close to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Ellsworth! We are also 3 minutes away from Lamoine State Park, Lamoine Beach, and Blunts Pond. Blunts pond is a great place for swimming or fishing. There are also hiking trails in Lamoine! We have an above ground swimming pool and nice deck off the living room.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our home has a brand new kitchen with granite countertops. We have two bedrooms with a partially finished basement with a queen sized bed. At Lamoine State Park, many people go fishing for mackerel right off the dock. Lamoine Beach has incredible views out the bay and nice place to walk along the shore.
