Ce magnifique condo a été récemment rénové. Il se trouve au rez-de-chaussée et se trouve directement en bord de mer. La cuisine dispose de comptoirs en granit, d'un vaste espace armé et entièrement équipé pour accueillir une famille pour les vacances en bord de mer de leurs rêves. Il y a un lit king dans le maître, un jumeau et une reine dans la chambre d'amis et les lits superposés dans la troisième chambre plus petite.

Profitez des brises de l'océan depuis le grand patio. Il se trouve à une minute de marche de la promenade de la plage sur les dunes jusqu'à la plage de sable blanc.

Great stay

Great location and very convenient. Bathrooms need updating and extra care with the dishwashing. But the access to beach and pool were amazing. Loved our stay. Very helpful staff.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family LOVES Colony Reef! The location worked really well for us. If changes are made, we'd love to go back. The floor was filthy (the bottoms of our feet were black), it had a terrible smell, the mattresses were lumpy, and we slept in a hole. considering how many people it accommodates, there were only places to seat 4 people in the den. I hope the owners are able to make updates to the unit. We would love to go back.

This is the first time I have stayed in this particular Silver unit. Ground level, great view from the patio and the condo was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the first floor location. We could easily access the pool and beach from the patio door- no need to carry keys! The owners and other guests were extremely friendly- we met many new people. Only downside of the whole experience was the pool was really cold and the hot tub was restricted to 12 and older (we have 4 kids under 12 so our view is different than others on this). OVerall- great location and great condo! Loved it!

David, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! While the outdoor pool is not heated we do have an indoor pool that is heated! Our rules regarding the hot tub age restrictions are those from a safety standpoint, it is not safe for children under the age of 12 to be in hot tubs! We experienced several issues when we arrived that were promptly resolved by the Colony Reef staff. Cleanliness upon arriving was not as good as it should have been, mainly bathroom tub and shower. The unit is dated with an older spa tub shower which could be a problem with individuals with mobility issues.

However, the doorwall in the back didn't lock, causing a security concern. The patio area needed to be cleaned and updated, as the table was peeling and there were rusting items left by other guests. The whole area was deplorable. The couch was very old and didn't accommodate our family. The kitchen was in great need of new pots, as there were only two, and the larger one was falling apart. I guess I would say if you don't mind a lower-cost experience, but love just being on the beach, this is great! The beds were all good though.. slept great!

Beautiful Unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay at colony reef each year, usually in a different unit each time, as it ends up. This was our fifth year. We had a lovely time as always! The unit was well furnished and comfortable. The floor was lenolium and had a damaged spot in the kitchen near the dishwasher- but overall was in good repair. The only complaint I would list is that there seemed to be a lot of bugs... we saw about 6 roaches and one large spider in the unit (sometimes kitchen, other times master bedroom...) colony reef told my husband that a pest control person would come take care of it- so hopefully no one else has this issue- but if you do, let them know as they're eager to help! The cleaning of the unit could have been better too... we did find teddy grams on the floor (we didn't bring any teddy grams...) but we just took care of it ourselves..

Weekend getaway

Overall Colony Reef Club condos has fantastic amenities, access to the beach and water views. The pool and area surrounding it was clean and had plenty of lounge chairs and tables. We enjoyed borrowing from the office (no extra fee) tennis balls and racquets to use on the tennis courts. We also made use of the workout room and indoor pool. The condo itself is a silver listing so we did not expect anything fancy. Overall the interior was clean on arrival but the patio was covered in sand and dirt from the prior guests. The furnishings are dated but comfortable. The kitchen had most of the equipment needed but some of the dishes were not clean and appeared to have been put away dirty. The kitchen was lacking in anything extra, we had to bring our own paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap etc... There was only one dishtowel and two single use packets for the dishwasher. We realized after out first night the A/C unit was not working properly. It was running constantly and we were unable to adjust it with the thermostat. We also discovered it did not have a filter installed. A few people in our family have allergies and I did not want to sleep in a condo without a filter in the A/C unit. I ended up having to purchase it myself b/c they did not have any extra in the office and I was told it was the weekend so the maintenance man was not available. (I was reimbursed for the filter purchase when we checked out.) The closet where the A/C unit and water heater reside was completely full of dust and could use a good cleaning out. The washer and dryer were old but worked ok when I figured out that the lint trap (which was hard to find) was extremely clogged up with lint. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned out in a while as the lint was about 2 inches thick. Another issue we had was there were no oven mitts or potholders in the kitchen. The first night I had to use the one dishtowel for getting our dinner out of the oven. This problem was quickly resolved by the friendly staff at the office. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the office staff was friendly and helpful but the condo itself could use some maintenance.

These condos are self-serving so we provide basic starters for your vacation but it is understood that guests would need to purchase more themselves, we make sure to send an email prior to arrival detailing what we do and do not supply. Colony Reef Club Unit 1102

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of the ground floor unit was perfect. We knew renting a silver unit meant it would be outdated. I think it’s time to upgrade. The sofa & chair were not very clean & not comfortable. Kitchen utensils definitely need to be replaced as some had rust on them. Also more utensils are needed especially for the grill (such as a pair of tongs). Bring your own plastic cups as there were only 3 beverage glasses. Don’t expect a Kuerig, just a standard coffee maker. Glazing in tub in shared bath is chipping but overall space was good & clean enough.

The location, the ease of getting to the beach, the pool, the activities provided for the kids on the lawn(movie night was great), and the food trucks. All made for a great vacation week with our large family renting several condos. However, unit 1102 was not the best. It smelled bad, there were dead roaches in the TV stand drawers and one live roach, and the unit needs updating. It was one of five condos we rented as a family. The other five were nicely updated and in great condition! I will definitely come back to colony reef with my family but not this unit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The resort was amazing. The amenities were fantastic. We loved the pool. We were highly disappointed with the condo. When we arrived our condo was dirty. The floors were filthy, bathtubs had not been cleaned and we found underwear, qtips and various piles of trash throughout condo. We spent our first day cleaning. We were refunded the cleaning fee but lost a day of vacation. The bunk beds are in a closet, it’s not a full room. The front yard is also deceiving, in the pictures it appears flat but is actually a steep hill.

The table on the porch was all rusted and the back porch was filled with lots of leftover rusty beach chairs and umbrellas. The sliding glass door had a broken door handle. The popcorn ceiling over the dining room was falling off the roof everytime the upstair neighbors would walk through. There was a line through the living room TV. We loved the location of the condo but would get a different room next time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was nice. Patio was extremely dirty and not useable and did not have a ceiling fan. Unit is out dated and needs renovation. Floors were extremely dirty, beds and bathrooms were clean. Dishwasher did not really work, all dishes in kitchen seemed dirty. Only bed that was comfortable was the bunk bed. Would not rent this unit again unless they cleaned up and renovated. Mold allergies were kicked into high when entering the unit, lots of mold.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1102 is listed as a Silver but should really be a bronze. The AC was broken, so we didn't have AC the first day/night. The unit hasn't been updated in probably 20 to 30 years, there's dirt on the walls, rust on all the bathtubs and washer&dryer, there's old Beach items left on the porch that look like trash, the bathroom vents don't work, and the entire unit is very musty and smells like mildew (maybe from the lack of ventilation and old carpets). Colony Reef staff were very professional and help fixed the AC and move us to a new unit. 1102 is in a great location but unfortunately the unit is subpar on a number of levels.

It is a wonderful place to stay with lots to do. We are now in our 4 th generation of family members staying there.
