Fantastic stay, the rooms were clean, beds comfy, and the property was lovely. Also the hosts were very kind and answered all our questions. Honestly the best part was being able to stay on the property of such a fantastic winery - we got to wander over with our snacks and have a tasting of their delicious wines right after we arrived! It was such a treat!The location is central and was easy to get around both driving and with ride shares. The worst part was leaving, we all wished we could have stayed another day!

This home was lovely. It is a 1940's farm house located right on the winery land. The house was well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. The pool was a cool refreshment on warm days. The tasting area is only steps away. Our family had only 4 nights, but we wish we had more time to spend there. I would rent the same place again.

We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. It was perfect for 2 families to stay comfortably. The pool was the perfect temperature for the hot summer days. It was going to be very hot while we were there so the hosts were very thoughtful and set up another AC unit for the upstairs bedroom. We could hear the music from the tasting room in the afternoons and it was wonderful. Hosts were very responsive to questions.

Fantastic location and wonderful house. We were in town for a wedding and had a great week around Paso with this as our home base. House was very well kept with outdoor games and a fire pit for socializing. Spent time with the hosts as well and they are great people.

Wine Tasting Friends Weekend

3 empty nester couples enjoying Paso Robles. The backyard and pool are nice to hang out and visit. Home is beautifully appointed with antiques and quilts on beds. Kitchen is adequate, good parking, central location to downtown and wineries. Only complaint was the gardiners starting blowers to maintain rhe large property at 7 am - 8:30 on Saturday morning

Charming property in a great location

We had a lovely time in this farmhouse which has old world charm in a beautiful setting. We appreciated it the owners allowing our dogs, and we took great care to leave the place as we found it. We had a few issues with things needing repairs, and cleanliness not up to par (thus the 3 stars on that question) with dishes that were less than clean, screens torn and leaky fixtures. There is a high level of calcium in the water, so that explained some of the spots on the glasses, but still was not acceptable. However, the owners were very attentive, and did their best to help resolve these issues. I would definitely recommend this home. There are many beautiful wineries within walking distance! Go and enjoy!

Great for groups

This house was perfect for our group of friends and a few kids. It’s spacious, functional and well stocked—tons of towels, good kitchen assortment, lots of games. It is an old house so there’s some quirkiness to it but it was comfy and totally fit our needs. The upstairs gets quite warm if you don’t employ AC on a hot day (though the downstairs stayed impressively cool) and I might recommend bringing your own drinking water. They thoughtfully provide a Brita but even that doesn’t help much with the mineral taste. Hosts were exceptionally kind and responsive. It was fun to have the winery grounds to wander in the morning and evenings. Though the house is quite close to the winery, there was also a good sense of privacy when using the pool or hanging out on the porch. We really enjoyed our stay here, felt like a great find!

Really great spot! I found it nice to have the winery open next door, it was not too loud/overwhelming, and then we were able to explore the grounds once the business day was over. Lots of wildlife nearby! We did have small delay in being able to get into the house, but we were able to talk to Jackie at the winery and she helped us resolve it without issue.

This is such a gem of a property and far exceeded our expectations! The house was clean and well appointed. The vineyard grounds were lovely to explore. The yard was a decent size for the kids to play, and despite the unseasonably cooler weather during our stay, the kids still loved the pool. Our party of 6 was very comfortable during our stay here, and are already planning to book another stay here in the future!

The home at Four Lanterns was just perfect. I stayed there with 4 of my girlfriends and we all had ample space to sleep and settle in. The backyard was lovely for relaxing by the pool or gathering to chat in the mornings with our coffee. We visited the tasting room and Jackie was there. She was incredibly kind and they got us booked up for the next morning's tasting. Our tasting was FABULOUS and we had such a lovely experience there. I would highly recommend and will be back again!

So many wonderful things about this house. Amazing host, super clean, fully equipped kitchen, extra towels in the bathrooms, plenty of pool towels, bbq grill and small details throughout the house that made us feel at home. The host left us a nice welcoming note and a bottle of wine. We were also offered early check in. Overall, a great experience.

Wonderful little spot

Great little farmhouse with enough to fit our 7 two-family crew. Great pool aside the winery with great wine and awesome proximity to downtown Paso and tons of other vineyards. Easy checkin and check out. Laid back, clean and beautiful property.

Great getaway

This house was cute and had a real classy old feel to it. Jackie was great getting back to us when we had questions. We never could get the wifi to work though. Not a big deal as that wasn’t necessary for our visit, just a bummer for the teens. Tasting at Four Lanterns was wonderful and the staff were super sweet. The bed my husband and I shared could definitely use replacing. It was a queen bed and slightly folded in the middle so we didn’t sleep well. Noisy being near the highway at times. Some kitchen items could be updated but wouldn’t have been noticed had we not cooked a couple meals there. Overall it really is a great place for the family. Our kids had their own little quarters upstairs and really enjoy the pool. Recommended for families and friends.

Great place

The property is beautiful and it is conveniently near everything. There was no TV in the house which we had not noticed when booking but actually ended up being a plus as we played games with the kids. The only thing I would change is the plastic feeling cheap sheets on the master bed.

Great location

We had a wonderful reunion with friends and loved the location of the property. We had enough beds and the house was clean with nice decor. The owner Jackie was super helpful and attentive. She was right on-site at the winery and brought us a shade pop up when we needed it. Our biggest complaints are not knowing the pool would have a massive algae bloom and the tap is undrinkable. When we arrived we were only told the pool was cold and asked if we brought bottles of water. We hope these two issues can either get resolved or guests are given a heads up ahead of time because we would love to stay here again!

Graduation Celebration!

This was the perfect place to gather as a family to celebrate my son graduating from Cal Poly. Nothing fancy, just a warm inviting house on a working vineyard. Perfect for us.

Beautiful weekend in the heart of wine counyryy

The Four Lanterns Winery vacation rental and property are just beautiful. The house is nicely appointed. Our group of five friends spent each evening in the house cooking and playing board games. We took an evening walk on the property and it was charming with Adirondack chairs and tables underneath shaded trees. There were lawn games and garden statues and fountains- really darling. The house was nicely furnished and decorated AND spacious. The top floor is a large open space with its own bathroom and it has a queen size bed and two twin beds and a sitting area. The first floor has two big bedrooms with a queen size and king size bed and a small alcove with a double bed. We had a wonderful time and Jackie was responsive to our questions. Definitely look forward to returning to Four Lanterns Winery in the future.
