My home is tucked into a nice peaceful neighborhood close to all major highways and shopping. There's a waterfall in the backyard to listen too while sitting up on the balcony enjoying your morning or evening. There's a big firepit with a wrap around bench for the cool evenings, a swing in the backyard tree to relax and read a book in. For those long and exhausting days you can jump in the jacuzzi and relax away the day. For that exercising type there's a room upstairs with a stationary bike, a Bowflex, an aversion table, with a tv. If your up for an adventure or some exercise there's a beautiful park called Guajome Park right across the street with a little pond you can fish in, trails to walk or bike around in, and a playground for the kids to play on. There's also a paved riding/running trail right at the intersection of N Sante Fe and the 76 that goes all the way to the beach. The kitchen is very large with a big center island that's inviting to sit around while one cooks or to just enjoy time.
The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced on a vacation. The backyard is beautiful and the owner was very responsive. I would stay here again.
I'm a 4th generation carpenter from Massachusetts who has lived out here for 21 years. Ive lived here in this home since 2008 and have applied my skills to make my home beautiful, inviting, and relaxing. This is my 1st time being a host as I'm recently separated from a very long relationship and have decided to start doing a little traveling. I'm a very meticulously, clean, and organized person so its been an easy transition to become a host. I love my home so I don't ever want to leave it permanently but this a great solution to help with my new adventures.
I bought this home back in 2008 as mentioned and I chose here for severals reasons, first being that there was NO HOA's, second that it seemed to be a very quiet neighborhood where people just wanted to live their lives and kinda keep to themselves. Another selling factor was that it was close to all the major highways and my cliental base is all over San Diego county. I also really loved all the raw nature that was here. My son was only 6 when I bought this home so the fact that the park was also right across the street was also another really big selling factor, and combined with the very spacious backyard I knew it was going to be a great home for us.
The location as I mentioned above is a great quality with it being so isolated but close to everything a family needs. All of the additional ammenities that I have added over the years have also made my home very appealing. I have to say though that most of the homes in my neighborhood are kept up really well with nice people in them that will say hi, remember your name, but kinda just keep to their own daily lives.
