T h e only problem i had was the entry door was a little tricky had to wiggle quite a bit to work and the TV in bedroom i couldn't get any signal!

I apologize for the tricky key pad. I was unaware of the tv not being able to get a channel. I wish you would’ve gotten a hold of us so we could have rectified the situation and make your stay more enjoyable. We appreciate your review and hope you think of us in the future.

The fenced-in yard was definitely the highlight of this property for us. As people who travel with dogs, we really appreciated having a secure space where our dogs could run and play off leash. The neighborhood was quiet, the location was convenient, and we appreciated the disposable utensils and being able to use Netflix on the living room TV.Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort fell short. The bed was the biggest issue. It was extremely uncomfortable, and a plastic mattress cover underneath the bedding made very loud crinkling noises whenever either of us moved, repeatedly waking the other person throughout the night. We also found hair and debris on the bed.The property did not feel thoroughly cleaned. There were crumbs/debris on the kitchen table, the shower felt grimy enough that we chose not to use it, and the closet where towels appeared to be stored had a strong unpleasant smell. Four Glade plug-ins in the kitchen and another in the bedroom also made the fragrance overwhelmingly strong.There were several maintenance/upkeep issues as well: a damaged screen door with exposed metal, a backyard light that wasn’t functioning properly, cobwebs and grass clippings around the back door, and debris around the outdoor areas. The trash bins immediately beside the door also produced an unpleasant odor.Overall, the property felt more like a bare-minimum rental than a thoughtfully prepared guest accommodation. Good place for pets , yard totally fenced in.But a good clean place for family.Quiet neighborhood.Could not find a toaster ?

We really recommend staying at this home! Perfect for 4 adults!!! Had a little trouble over wifi, the host was great about it and fixed the problem immediately! Neighborhood was quiet, which we loved! We will definitely make this our place to stay again! Everything was amazing! Thank you very much for being amazing!

Nice and quiet house, big yard, great value. So much better and about the same price as a hotel. I was traveling for work, but as someone who used to live in the area, this would make a nice spot to stay for a fun trip. There are some things to do in Clinton, but it's right down the road from beautiful Bellevue, and also close to the Quad Cities. There is a ton do do between those two very different destinations. The host was so gracious qnd communicative. Will be back.

I was looking for something more accommodating than motel rooms. This was the perfect solution. I chose it because there were no additional cleaning fees. I felt it was reasonably priced. It was clean and comfortable. Michele communicated well and check-in and check-out were easy. It was well stocked with towels. We were able to cook breakfast and eat our other meals. Close to Casey’s which was a plus. I will consider staying again on any future trip to Clinton.

The smell from the plug-in air fresheners was overwhelming. We unplugged them all for the weekend and you could still smell them. The house was mostly clean, but the shower could have been cleaner. The only outlet in the bathroom was on the light above the mirror, so we were lucky that we brought an extension cord. There were no other mirrors in the home, making getting ready for a wedding challenging. There were no blinds on the bedroom window, just curtains that didn't close all the way. The back bedroom had a door to the outside with a full-size window and no blinds. The mattresses were covered in thick plastic, so it was hot and loud when you rolled over. There was only 1 towel bar in the bathroom, so we hung towels on the back of a doorknob to dry. The property was not well kept. There was junk laying around outside and weeds climbing the fence. We were required to sweep before checking out, but only given a broom and dustpan, no vacuum of any sort. Michele was very responsive, but there wasn't much she could do about the issues that I raised. The neighborhood was safe, but I won't likely stay here again while in Clinton.

Thank you very much for your review. Upon your checking in, I checked with you to make sure everything was enjoyable. You responded by informing me about the plug-ins being overwhelming. You also stated that the windows did not have blinds and also stated “to be fair the photos did not show blinds“. I explained that in two of the three bedrooms, the curtains are blackout curtains. I informed my husband who has already measured for blinds to be installed. I do apologize for the unsatisfactory cleanliness of the shower. Rust is very difficult to get removed. We do indeed have waterproof liners on all the bedding. We are protecting the mattresses for any spills and bodily fluids for sanitary purposes. We do sanitize after each stay. I also apologize for only one towel rack. Previous renters have draped them over the shower curtain rod. We will be installing those and mirrors as well. Since we do not charge a cleaning fee as other home do, we do require some very light cleaning after your stay. I have indeed informed my husband of the yard conditions. The two items that were brought to my attention previously as stated until your review, the plug-ins and the blinds, are in process of correction. I apologize that you did not have a five star stay. This is the only below average rating we have obtained. We do consider it constructive criticism and also realize that you can’t please 100% of people 100% of the time. Thank you for your review.
