We are just not a vacation rental; we are an experience! Green pastures and white fences full of graceful horses surround Red Roof Stable Bed and Breakfast. Check in before 4pm and watch as the horses come in the barn for the evening. Sit on the many decks and patios and play a family game as you watch the sunset. At night help Diane check and water horses before roasting marshmallows at the outside firepit or inside at the fireplace. A full country breakfast is served the next day as you watch the horses go back out. This is a true bed and breakfast where the hosts live on the third floor, and you share a kitchen. The listing is priced for 4 adults the house can hold 10. Each additional person over 4 is $80 per person.
Loved loved loved staying at this operating horse stable. Itâs a beautiful home - almost like a country castle - with soaring ceilings and beautiful woodwork. The kids loved petting the horses and exploring the grounds and breakfast both mornings was delicious
Our family stayed with Diane and enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is very unique and our kids enjoyed the horse lessons. Diane went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
The host greeted us upon arrival and we immediately got to interact with the horses on the property. Kids would love this! You can also book lessons. Property had all amenities and great room to hang out if you didnât want to go into Le Claire, IA. We went for a concert in Moline, IL but staying here was super convenient.
We had an awesome time - very neat property! There were more beds than I realized so everyone got there own bed. The breakfast was amazing and Diann was an outstanding host! We were there for only one night but the kids loved petting the horses/ponies. Overall a great place to stay - highly recommended.
Diane does it all! She treats the guests so well, we felt spoiled. She helped build us a fire, had snacks and drinks available, and breakfast was tremendous! The views and rooms are great and have all your needs. We enjoyed relaxing here and all the horses. Definitely recommend!
Our stay at the Red Roof Stable & Farm was incredible! Ms. Diane was very welcoming and accommodating. The property is one of a kind and accessible to guests, including personal interaction with the horses.
I travelled with my mom, who had recently had surgery. The property was ideal with an elevator and large, walk-in shower, and easy access to all common areas. We brought my moms 2 dogs with us as well. They were welcomed and enjoyed the farm life while we were there.
Ms. Diane makes delicious homemade breakfasts and offers full use of the kitchen for all other meals. The rooms were beautiful with lots of private balconies and very comfy beds.
There is also a little gift shop on the bottom level that offers homemade Amish baked goods and a great selection of gift shop products, both sourced and handcrafted by Ms. Diane.
The Red Roof Stable & Farm will be our go-to lodging each year for family reunions.
Just what we needed for a gathering space. Property was clean and host Diane was very gracious and flexible with us. The setting was beautiful and the girls enjoyed the horses!
Beautiful, relaxing, comfortable--and there are horses!
My friends and I are in Chicago and planned to head to Davenport for a concert, our first road trip in well over two years. Diane and Doug were fantastic hosts--when the concert was canceled, Doug made an excellent recommendation for our dinner and helped arrange a reservation. The house is beautiful and there are horses you can visit or just watch from the house. Diane made amazing breakfasts for the two days of our stay, and had no problem working around one of our party's dietary restrictions. I can't recommend this enough, and we're hoping to visit again sometime in the near future!
I cannot say enough about this place and Dianne!!!
The moment we got there we felt like family and like the place was our own:)
Diane took my kids on horse lessons and was amazing for all 3 :)
We would have stayed longer if we didnât have to get on our way.
The kids loved this and has been thier favorite memory of our whole trip!
Xoxo
It's always nerve-racking traveling with small children, but staying here gave us time to sit back and relax. We checked in and immediately our host invited us to go help bring the horses in from the pasture, which our daughter loved! She gave us a great dinner suggestion and then had dessert waiting for us when we got back. The next morning we woke up to breakfast being made. She even made sure to make kid friendly/diet restriction foods! We then headed out to spend more time with the horses. She took the time to teach our daughter all about them and let both kids ride a pony named Rain Dance. Such a fun and relaxing place to stay! Highly recommend for any horse lovers!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful horse ranch in the country. Diane was a wonderful host and made an amazing breakfast. The kids loved seeing the horses and playing with the dog and cats. We spent our evening at a restaurant 15 minutes away dining on the banks of the Mississippi. We highly recommend this property!
