This was the absolute best cozy sanctuary! The bed was soooo comfy, the shower is great, atmosphere was 5 stars and the host was amazing!!!! Can’t wait to stay here again !

Sonja is beyond a Superhost, she is proactive, friendly, and thoroughly awesome at hosting! The place looked like the pictures, very nice. very clean. Very well set up. There is no stove, but Sonja has multiple options for small cooking: a nice convection oven/toaster, a double hot plate, and a electric, counter top grill that we used for burgers. Worked great. I would not try to fix Thanksgiving dinner in this kitchen, but anything short of that will work. Great place to hang out and we did a bit of that with our son who lives in the area. I've never seen a rental that has something like 100 notes from past guests, all praising the host. We will definitely be back.

such a beautiful place to stay. the garage suite was well maintained and had everything we needed for the few days we were there. we did have a bit of a hiccup with checking in with the host which is why I removed a star but the host did a great job at trying to make amends and we did not have any issues after checking in. next time we are in the dallas area we will for sure check if this is available!

I completely understand the removal of the star—it was an unfortunate and frustrating situation, and I sincerely apologize that you had to experience it. The conflict arose from an unexpected glitch in the syncing between the Vrbo and Airbnb calendars, which caused the overlap. As soon as I realized the issue, it was incredibly important to me to handle it fairly and respectfully for both you and the Airbnb guest. I offered both parties a penalty-free cancellation along with $200 from my personal funds. Thankfully, the Airbnb guest accepted, which allowed me to move forward in giving you the best stay possible. This is actually my very first less-than-5-star rating in three years, and while it stings, it’s also a powerful lesson for me in hospitality and how even small hiccups can impact a guest’s experience. I truly appreciate your grace and the opportunity to still host you at The Garage Suite. Your understanding means a lot, and I’m genuinely sorry again for the inconvenience.
