Beautiful views, great living areas, good communication when needed, comfortable stay. Only 1 fire pit, and dishwasher needs to be replaced (not anchored at top and too small for space), and cannot overstate the stairs - do not recommend for persons who struggle with steps or young children - not only the number of them but the narrowness of each step. Neither bathroom is en suite (not advertised as such) and the door to the main floor bath is a pocket door that does not lock. We very much enjoyed our stay. Very quiet area and dizzying views. The house is unique and a cool place to stay even with its blemishes.

Quick, easy, everything the way it said it would be and more. Beautiful sunsets, views from the fireplace at night. Great, wide open living area with kitchen overlooking epic Mountain View’s. Host was wonderful and very attentive and responsive. Definitely come back next year!!!

The view was pretty amazing. Everything about the property was represented accordingly. Don’t trust the map estimates for traffic, it takes longer everywhere lol.

Great communication and very easy booking and checkout. The location and views are stunning out of every window. All three beds are comfortable and everything felt clean and easy to relax in. The only thing I would note is that there is only one bathroom upstairs which is shared by all three bedrooms. The second bath is located downstairs adjacent to the living/dining room and it does have a shower but no counter or outlets so it is not functional for getting ready, more of a powder bath. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the constant communication making sure we had everything we needed.

Fun house, loved that the main living room is on a separate level than sleeping spaces! Included baby gates for stairs, which was great for my almost 2yo.

Overall experience at The Lake house was great. It was a perfect location, somewhat remote but a 15 minute drive to the market and 20 minutes to Pepperdine. Two pieces of feedback that would have made it a five star stay:1. Screen doors on the sliding doors (2nd floor and the bedrooms). Specifically the one bedroom where there is no window to open. The second floor where the kitchen is also critical because of all of the bugs that come in. TONS came in while cooking dinner, attracted to the smells and the light. 2. Someone from the company showed up unannounced around 11:30 and scared the crap out of my young teens. I was at the market and he just showed up and let himself in. I appreciated the quick response once I reached out and apology, however, I should have been called immediately rather than have to reach out myself and well, it just should not have happened at all. Even with those cons, my family would stay there again when we need a weekend away to visit our daughter at school.

The views of this property are beautiful, especially at sunset. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We gave feedback to the property management about aspects we couldn’t enjoy due to being broken (outdoor umbrellas, misting system) and some slight improvements that would improve the first impressions and overall enjoyment of future travelers.
