This place was beautiful and just as described. Our family had a lovely stay. We were only there for two nights, and everyone agreed we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. We would definitely book this home again.

Check-in was simple - code on front door available at check-in time. Kitchen was great with all possible utensils and dishes. Everything was very clean and neat. Great stay.

Relaxed bday/weekend get

Loved it...especially the scenery and backyard set up. Everyone who came was impressed with view how nice the property was. It was so relaxing, no one was ready to leave! The only thing I would say is that the dock was full of webs, i would probably try to knock off as much as possible if it were my property before guest arrived. Other than that, we were satisfied

The kitchen had everything we needed except needed a large boiler pot for Frogmore Stew. The ice machine was overheating but we still had ice. The lake view was spectacular. The beds were comfy. We had the place to ourselves until Sat. The people next door were partying so it ruined our outside ambiance for dinner. We stayed inside. Every other night we had peace and quiet. We appreciated the quick response to adding curtains to the dorm room and attending to the bathroom sink issue.

House was great. Plenty of kitchen pans, pots, griddle food processor, etcetera. Fire pit was even prepped. We caught a bunch of bass (brought our own poles). We kayaked a bunch. The kayak seats need fixed, but they are usable. The setting was perfect… great view of the lake, stars under the fire, watched the moon in the hot tub, even saw an eagle dive and get a fish as we were having coffee on the deck! House was huge but cozy. We had a family of five with older kids and it could not have been more comfortable and spacy. If I absolutely had to give some feedback… pleas communicate there is a house next door that overlooks the fire pit area, but it is still private and can employ the yard. We were lucky that no one was at the house next door, but seems like it would still be private if they were home. The new house just wasn’t shown in any pictures. Other than that, the house, property, communication, views, lake access, dock, rooms, everything was perfect. Best rental we’ve been at!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The home is exactly as advertised. It was spacious, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals after a day on the lake. The weather wasn’t ideal to enjoy the fire pit, but we loved the dock for fishing and the hot tub for relaxation. We brought our boat; it was so nice to have access to the boat lift at the dock. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Finally, I have to praise the AvantStay team. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They made sure the whole process from check in to out went smoothly. I really felt like they cared about our trip experience. 10/10 experience

Our stay on Lake Norman was absolutely wonderful! The house was just what we wanted- beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals, the beds were comfortable and the views and outdoor areas were truly breathtaking!! We couldn't wait to wake up every morning and head outside to take it all in! We especially appreciated that we were able to bring our family dogs along- although you never would have guessed it was a "pets allowed" home, because everything was so clean. Our family will always look back on this trip with very fond memories! Thank you so much!
