Découvrez les images et les sons de la côte nord de la Californie dans le confort de notre maison de vacances. De notre salle d'observation et de notre chambre à l'étage, la vue imprenable sur le littoral accidenté et le phare de Battery Point vous inspirera. Profitez de l'observation des oiseaux et observez les baleines grises jaillir pendant leur migration hivernale. Délectez-vous au son des aboiements des otaries, des vagues déferlantes, du surf apaisant et de la corne de brume.

Spacieusement conçue et confortablement meublée, notre maison de vacances de deux étages dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert avec des plafonds voûtés, une grande cuisine / salon, deux chambres, chacune avec un lit queen, deux salles de bain et une salle d'observation. Un foyer au gaz autoportant dans le salon ajoute à l'atmosphère chaleureuse et accueillante.

Idéalement situé à un demi-pâté de maisons d'un accès facile à la plage, un escalier en colimaçon vous mène à une plage pittoresque pour explorer les piscines de marée et le nid de plage. Le phare historique de Battery Point, à quelques pâtés de maisons (de la plage ou de la rue), est accessible à marée basse et propose des visites guidées, vous donnant un aperçu rare du fonctionnement quotidien et de l'histoire d'un phare actif.

A lovely property and very well equipped. Very quiet location with good parking and fantastic views. Lots of activities nearby and we ate at the Seaquake Brewing restaurant which is a great place. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Would recommend this property!

Coastal Beauty

The vacation home was just as described on VRBO. In fact, the location was even better. Walking on the beach in a quiet area was so relaxing. The furnishings were comfortable and met our needs.

Great location to visit the Redwoods

Great view of the lighthouse and ocean from the upstairs loft and a short walk to get down to the beach. The furniture in the house is a little dated, but everything functioned well. Crescent City is a great central location to go explore the Redwood parks.

Perfect location close to Redwoods

Great location with amazing views of Pacific and Battery Point Lighthouse. Short drive (20-40 minutes depending on location) to the various Redwood state and national parks. Walkable or short drive to local brewery with fantastic menu and 5 min drive to several other restaurant options as well as grocery store. Well appointed, clean, and comfortable.

This house was the perfect location. We loved being so close to the ocean to just walk over whenever we had a few spare minutes. And everything in town was 5 minutes or less away. We appreciated all the information about the area and used a lot of it for recommendations on restaurants, coffee hikes, and ocean viewing. The binoculars in the upstairs sun porch were great- we took them with us to a recommended viewing spot up the road and were able to see a bunch of sea lions sunbathing.

Great time visiting Crescent City and our stay at Lighthouse View Beach Cottage was great also. Very convenient to stores/restaurants downtown and such close access to the beach and walks was wonderful. Our host Beth was very helpful with any questions we had about her house and the area. The cottage was very comfortable and easy to take care of. Great location for visiting the Redwoods and beaches northern California and southern Oregon.

Perfect location

The house is clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We really loved being so close to the parks. Stout Grove and Grove of Titans were great hikes. Taking the Battery Point Lighthouse tour was fantastic.

Redwood NP Base Camp

The property is ideally-positioned next to a scenic beach access, and local retail amenities. It is well-appointed and well-kept, quiet, and affords great views of the ocean, especially from the upstairs sitting room. We’d definitely stay here again.

Lighthouse view and beach access

Great location with view of light house and a short walk to the beach. Convenient to Redwood NP w/some amazing trails and scenery. House has a small sunroom off of the master bedroom upstairs that was unexpected and very comfy for viewing the ocean, lighthouse, and reading a good book (to be fair, the sunroom may have been in the listing and pics, I just overlooked it). The living room was also cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. Was close to several nice little eateries, especially Seafront Baking Co.

Our Redwoods Vacation

This was a wonderful location to enjoy many of our Redwood hikes. It was very comfortable for my husband and I and another couple. It was equipped with everything we needed and just required a quick stop to the grocery store. We found several good restaurants and enjoyed being so close to the beach.

The location and house were perfect location. The owner had ALOT of rules and request. Not sure if having to vacuum after are stay was necessary! Also having to take out garbage to curb. Believe we were guest?

A Relaxing Stay

The entire home was clean and comfortable, having everything thing we might possibly need. We especially enjoyed the upstairs sun room with views of the lighthouse and tide pools. We would sit in the sun room with our morning coffee, or take a nap on the chase lounge, windows open, and the gentle, warm breeze brushing our face. We so enjoyed our time spent there!

Redwood Forest Trip

We visited Crescent City to experience the Redwood Forest at Jedediah State Park. This seaside getaway was perfect for us. So close to the state park, and walking distance to the beach, jetty’s and lighthouse. The best place to eat is also super close at Seaquake Brewery.

The whole place was amazing! The views and the scenery were amazing! Also how close we were to the beach and the light house were so amazing! Highly recommend staying here! My family and I would stay here forever if we could!

Location, location, location!

First off, Beth could not have been any easier to work with! Secondly, this place is the perfect location - walk to SeaQuake Brewing, Pebble Beach, Battery Point Lighthouse. Leisurely, enjoy you coffee while taking in ocean views. The property has everything you could need. Highly recommend!!

Our brief stay was 4 nights and a wake up. And this little home provided us all we could ask for or need. Clean, comfortable, well appointed and stocked. Stairs to beach access were about 50 yards from the front door and we had a clear view of the lighthouse from the upstairs sun room. When driving into town was necessary, that took all of about 2 minutes. Our host had provided all kinds of information on activities and she quickly responded to our additional questions about the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again.

Redwoods trip

Steps from the beach and short drives to see the redwoods. The house had everything we needed and the room off the upstairs was the prize. When we came back to the house to relax that is where we went. Views of the ocean and lighthouse.

The Best Getaway

Everything was perfect. The house is so clean and tidy. The upstairs lookout is much fun with the great view of the lighthouse and the waves crashing on the rocks. The beach is so close. The whole house is well equipped with all you need especially in the kitchen. The owners were great with timely communications such as access and codes. We certainly would like to return.

We both fell in love with the beauty of Del Norte County... the redwoods, the ocean, the Smith River, and the mountains - what more could we ask for.

Great views of: Battery Point Lighthouse, the coastline to Patrick's Point, the ocean from the upstairs bedroom (even from the bed) and the observation room. Easy beach access one half block down the street. Convenient location to grocery shopping, restaurants, movie theater, city swimming pool. Close proximity to Redwood National and State Parks.
