"Haufer Hall" - Charming 2-bedroom cabin on beautiful Little Boy Lake.

The old Wabedo Town Hall has just been completely renovated to a clean, cozy and quaint cabin on beautiful Little Boy Lake. This cabin sits on a 1.6-acre lot with 267 feet of shoreline with a beautiful lake view. The cabin has two bedrooms with brand-new comfy beds. The open floor plan features free Wi-Fi and a TV with a vSeeBox for you to enjoy any movie, tv show or sporting event you wish to watch. A Full kitchen/dining with dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. 1 bathroom with shower. Kitchen and bath towels provided. Step right outside the door on to a new concrete patio overlooking the lake, which features a picnic table and grill for you to enjoy your favorite meals.

If you bring your own boat, you can launch easily at the public boat ramp just .8 miles down the road and tie up to our nice aluminum dock.
Enjoy breathtaking sunrises from the dock which features two comfortable dock chairs and table. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows over our open fire pit. There are two kayaks on the dock for you to take out for a stroll anytime you wish. Great fishing, swimming, tubing, water skiing or just relaxing listening to the many calls of the Loons and evening frogs. Little Boy Lake connects to Wabado Lake, another beautiful lake you have access to through a connecting channel. ATV and snowmobile trails are nearby and easily accessible. Little Boy Resort is less than a half mile down the road and is also accessible from the lake as well. The resort offers a full line of boat rentals, gas and a tavern “The Front Porch Tavern”. Enjoy a short drive to Longville, less than 4 miles to the north. Great quaint shops for your up north memorabilia! There’s fine dining, a café, coffee shop, grocery store, ice cream shop, bait shop, hardware stores, apparel, and more, “The One Stop” gas station has it all. There’s also mini golf, and on Wednesday there’s the iconic Longville “Turtle Races” which have been enjoyed by children of all ages for the last 50 years right on main street during the summer months. The Anchorage Inn, just 4 miles from Longville has wonderful breakfast, lunch and amazing pizza and drinks as well.

Northern Lights Casino located in Walker MN is a 25-minute scenic drive to the north. While in Walker, visit one of the many great shops, along with Reeds Sporting goods and if you’re a golfer, plenty of great courses!

Little Boy Lake and all the many surrounding lakes have great winter fishing for whatever species you’re after. We are located 20 minutes south of Leech Lake, which is a premier Walleye winter destination. From the cabin you have access to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails that can get you to towns such as Outing, Remer, Longville, Walker, Grand Rapids, Bemidji and many more.. There is also snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails just a few miles from Longville.
