Beautiful 1923 Spanish Revival home just one block from the beach in Long Beach, CA. Historic neighborhood located on one of the best streets in Long Beach. Filled with art, antiques, and vintage finds from around the world. Walk or bike to restaurants, wine-tasting rooms, boutiques, galleries & museums. Close to the Aquarium, Queen Mary, surf spots, convention center. 45 minutes to Disneyland & Knottâs Berry Farm. Perfect for a relaxing coastal getaway or exploring the best of LA. Central to LA & OC!
THE SPACE
This two-story 1923 Spanish Revival beauty is beautifully decorated with original art and antiques, and boasts stunning architectural details, including hardwood floors, original moldings, and arched windows. The living room invites you to unwind with its cozy fireplace, ample natural light, and a vintage player piano to set a festive mood.
The kitchen is a chef's dream, featuring updated appliances and fully stocked with ample cookware and utensils. Enjoy meals in the breakfast nook dinette or in the formal dining room, with space for 10+, perfect for group meals, meetings, or just a sunny workspace.
Upstairs, discover three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each with its own unique character. The primary suite is a retreat in itself, with a luxurious king bed and ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub. The next bedroom features its own large sitting room plus a queen-sized bed nestled in a cozy nook. A jack-and-jill bathroom connects to the third bedroom, with a comfy queen bed and a private balcony.
Take advantage of the California weather on the back patio, which features an outdoor sitting area with a fireplace, TV, and an additional dining table for meals al fresco.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Our home is situated in the historic and picturesque neighborhood of Bluff Park. Stroll down the tree-lined streets to find charming cafes, boutique shops, and City Beach just a short walk away. Visit the Long Beach Museum of Art, take a yoga class overlooking the water, or ride bikes along the beach path. It's a quick 10-minute drive to downtown Long Beach or the waterfront Shoreline Village district and 40 minutes to downtown Los Angeles.
The house features one protected parking spot as well as ample street parking. Buses run regularly along nearby Ocean Blvd and Broadway.
OUR HOME
Our home is our sanctuary, and we are thrilled to share it with you! This is our personal home; we have lived here for over 15 years. I have two kids with many hobbies (hence their collections in their rooms!). It is designed with love and fully appointed with unique personal touches. Though it has been upgraded and remodeled over the years, it is a 100-year-old house that retains its original charms and some of its quirks. We ask that you treat it as your own and enjoy it!
The whole house is yours to enjoy, including the living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and outdoor patio. The garage, basement, and office will be locked for personal items. Please ignore anything in the drawers, cabinets, closets etc., as this is where we live, and not a rental home with empty storage.
Some house rules:
-No smoking anywhere on the property.
-No parties or large gatherings.
-Please be VERY respectful of our neighbors - they keep a close watch on the neighborhood, and I don't want them to frown on future rentals.
-Sorry, no pets please.
