Very nice house. Great location. Comfortable beds. Nice fenced in yard. Great off street parking. Corey was a great host and very easy to communicate with. He answered all of our questions very quickly. We will definitely stay in Belmont Heights again. Great spots within walking distance of the house.
We had a wonderful (almost) six week stay. Belmont Heights is a charming historic (but very livable) house with tons of character in a fantastic location. It's walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants of 2nd street (8 minute walk to the Win-Dow, and 10 to Philz) and to many others on Broadway (and 4th) as well as the Belmont Pier. The neighborhood is fantastic and we regularly took evening walks with our dogs and the people here are just so friendly. As nice as the house was, the hosts were even better. Ive rented a lot on VRBO and the like and Ive never had a more attentive, accommodating, and responsive host than Corey. Thanks so much for a great visit.
What a cozy home with gracious hosts. They were very meticulous in the details, As to where to park how to get there and provided a bed and child seat for my toddler. They also provided, Water, towels, and essentials. Couldnât ask for a more pleasant stay for the 4th of July.
We were delayed 1 day due to the airline, but communication was great. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others. The beach was close (we loved Rosie's dog beach) and getting around LA was easy. During our 3.5 day stay, we went to Disneyland, Walk of Fame/Chinese Theater, Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, and Beverly Hills. Great trip!
Incredible Hosts and a Cottage That Feels Like Home
We loved our stay at this charming 100-year-old California Cottage in Belmont Heights. Full of character and charm, the home had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. Some parts show the homeâs age (the tiny toilet made us chuckle), but the spacious, modern kitchen more than made up for itâgreat appliances and fully stocked for cooking. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living roomâs natural light made it a perfect spot to unwind. We also appreciated the relaxing cross-breeze with both doors open, though the A/C and ceiling fans in every room kept things cool when needed. One of our favorite features was the fully fenced front yardâit was perfect for our dog Lucy to safely hang out and enjoy the space right along with us.And the hosts, Corey and Tim, were absolutely fantasticâresponsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our only regret is we wish we couldâve stayed longer. Highly recommend.
Super adorable property, incredibly communicative and responsive host. The property was impeccably clean, comfortable furnishings, garage for your rental car, busy but quiet centrally located and convenient neighborhood. Great property!
There were 3 of us that stayed at this beautiful cottage. We all had the same WOW factor when arriving. We stayed due to a special event we were having in Belmont Shore and found the cottage to have all the things we needed and more for our weekend stay. The hosts went out of their way to make sure our stay was very special. This was our first time doing a vacation rental and due to this experience, I would do this again and I for sure would stay with this host again. I can't say enough about how Corey and Tim made our stay a great experience.
Cozy little house in a great neighborhood with easy access to family in Naples. House was clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you might need including coffee! We were able to stream an important football game and access our own streaming services. It was so much better than the hotel we usually stay in! We will stay again when visiting family in Long Beach.
Perfect Cozy Getaway Close to Downtown and the Beach
My family and I recently stayed at this charming house, and it exceeded all our expectations! The location was fantastic, with easy access to downtown and the beach, making it perfect for exploring the area. The house itself was cozy and welcoming, filled with lovely old charm that made us feel right at home.
The hosts were exceptional, providing detailed and helpful information about the property and local attractions. Their hospitality truly enhanced my experience. We would definitely rent this place again if we find ourselves in the area. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our visit a lot. The house is as described, cozy and clean and comfortable.
The neighbor is very nice and convenient to visit places around LA.
This trip was about Family Time, getting to re-know a special grandchild, and making memories. And this home helped us do that. It's small, cozy, and very charming, set in a beautiful safe, green, quiet (except at certain times) neighborhood. The appliances were very clean and some were new..much appreciated. The host could not have been better. He conversed just enough, really seemed to care about the quality of our visit, agreed immediately to replace some minor kitchen items that were aged, and offered helpful hints. You just can't ask for more. Lovely home, would rent again, highly recommend.
Came with my family from AZ to visit Universal Studios, the beach and Knott's Berry Farm. We visited Seal Beach too because we love it there. Home is very centrally located to what we wanted to do. The house is decorated so cute and the beds and couches were comfy! The house had so much character and everything worked perfectly. We loved all the little things they thought of, beach towels, sand toys, Keurig, and so much more! Will definitely stay here again as area is safe and cute and parking was great! Owners very helpful with check in/out and any questions we had. Enjoyed the corn hole in the front yard. Wanted to use the gym equipment but we were so busy sight seeing but nice that it is there!
Property was accurate to listing. Lots of amenities and ease of movement around Long Beach. Walking distance to shopping, eating and beach. Property is well maintained and we had a blast. Certainly will use again when in the area.
This home was so charming and very relaxing. Traveled with my partner and our dog and we all had such a great time. We both worked remotely during the stay with no issues and had great walks/meals/drinks around the area as well. I grew up in So Cal and always loved hanging in 2nd Street, so it was cool to be able to have a quick walk over to it. Also did Rosieâs Dog Beach to give the pooch an experience :). It was genuinely a home away from home, even tho there are tenants in the back area, the stay all felt/was very private and lovely. Would def stay here again!
My husband and I along with our golden retriever had a wonderful stay in Belmont Heights. The home is very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is great and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Corey and Tim are very responsive and accommodating hosts.
Wonderful location, clean, had all the amenities you could need. The hosts were amazing with communication. The fenced-in yard was great for my kids. My family and I would definitely stay here again.
This 100-yr old home is cute, in a good overall location for a Long Beach getaway, and is a great size for 2 people who donât mind sharing a bathroom. It was extremely easy to communicate with the owner regarding lease agreement, but that did take some time to with through due to tech logistics. The street has steady traffic, which owners help mitigate with white noise devices in each bedroom. Take out/eat in is very close by too.
We lived in this home for many years and absolutely love the area! It has been our privilege to host guests from around the world and also help bring friends and family in touch with their loved ones in the area.
Belmont Heights is very family friendly and safe. Since we are a few blocks from second street, street parking is usually very easy and we have assigned parking as well. The beach and lagoon are nearby as are shops and restaurants. The aquarium is a must see and we are an easy drive to Disneyland and California Adventure! The area is diverse and perfect for all ages! We hope you enjoy your time in Long Beach!
We really care about our guests and are very responsive. As well, we are a unique rental in that we used this as our primary home for many years before we had to relocate for work, so it is not cookie cutter. Many guests find our place comfortable and well equipped. We hope to have the opportunity to have you stay with us!
