Reviewer Comments: This condo is a short walk to the private beach, easily sleeps a family of 4 (plus Grandpa), was clean and comfortable, and is in a perfect location to visit Destin, Panama City Beach, and Pensacola. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Sandpiper Cove Review.

Great location, beautiful grounds and harbor. Spacious well stocked condo with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing vac. that one could hope for in a getaway. Downsides... Some minor issues with shower temp. and t.v. Parking issues; there really should be assigned parking, at least one spot near each condo, we ended having to walk a half mile or more after returning to the condo several times. Staff / Maintenance issues; the drunks around the pool and roaches in several of the rooms coupled with the explanation from the staff saying there was nothing that could be done about it in a timely mannor was disturbing.

Christmas break getaway

Location, layout & amenities were spot on. Updates in condo we're not done correctly. The laminate floor throughout was buckling & lose. Updated master bath shower water took a while to get hot. Master bath toilet wobbled. Plumbing in showers squeaked. A light on balcony would have been nice. Older appliances, furniture & unfortunately found roaches under kitchen sink.

Let me first start with how much love Sandpiper Cove and all the amenities offered at this place. The Sand Flea is a huge bonus and food was delicious. We hopped on the water taxi each night for dinner. We have stayed at many condos in Sandpiper but this isn't one we would book again. I will say that the location of the property is nice and we were able to get a parking spot every night. We love to be on the golf course and start each morning with a round. A few things as a heads up to future guests...The floor is very buckled, the sliding door is broken, the furniture on the patio is bad and will leave rust spots on clothing, the shower is updated and pretty but took the water forever to warm up and the water pressure is lacking. There was a dog urine stain on the master bed skirt. The master bed has a very very thick foam pad on it. We personally didn't care for it but others might. The carpet is very old and can only imagine what it's seen with being a pet friendly condo. One of the twin beds was very far off the frame and my daughter cut her leg on the metal frame. The AC lacks to keep up and there is almost none in the master! We still had a great vacation despite this not being our favorite condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I, along with our two kids and their two friends stayed three nights there last week. The condo was just as mentioned, and the resort is nice. We have stayed at this resort the last three times and always look forward to coming back. The only negative that I can give is that they are lacking in parking. My son had to park down from our condo a couple of nights, and one of those nights he parked in a no parking zone. He had a citation on his window the next morning. As I looked at the spot he parked, I could tell that he shouldn’t had parked there, but the spot was not labeled no parking, and most 20 yr olds would not have known not to park there.

Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at Sand Piper cove. #1019 definitely needs some upgrading-especially the sofa bed and living room furniture. Remove the carpets in the bedrooms...it’s not very clean. Also I was under the impression that we got two beach rental chairs everyday with our stay like last time but they said my unit number wasn’t on there.

The master bedroom and bath shower has been nicely redone and I believe granite added in the kitchen. It still could use some appliance updates in the kitchen and furniture updates in the living room. The major issue was the deck railing was dangerously falling apart. The unit is a great location on a golf green and right across from the pool. E love Sandpiper Cove and never stay anywhere else!

Good last minute pet friendly rental

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The floors turned our feet black, had to kill a few roaches, cigarette burns on the couches, dishwasher was too dirty to use. Previous renters left dog waste bags off the porch. Needs to be updated and repainted. This was a last minute rental for our family of 4 with small dog. We had a great time but would not rent this particular unit again.

Just ok

We’ve stayed at Sandpipers many times, but this was our first in this condo. It was just ok. Definitely needs some updates. It felt dirty. Lots of streaks on the walls in the bathrooms, small holes in the furniture, and marks on the walls. We extended our stay and it was accepted weeks prior to our stay but still had issues with check in. Then the last day of our stay our code stopped working because they didn’t adjust the stay on that computer system. Overall not the worst, but we will look for a different condo in Sanpipers Cove next time.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was terrible. The first night we got there, there were hairs in the bed and the floor was sticky.Then a day later we saw bugs, they looked like roaches. i was told they were palmetto bugs but they did not fly so i think they were roaches. I have pictures of them on my luggage. They sprayed but by that time my stay was ruined.I have been there 4-5 times and it has gone downhill since our last stay.We love the location & proximity to the beach but the condo was so bad i will not be back there. Which is a shame bc my family loves it.The condos, especially the kitchens and baths need updating & it was just too dirty.I will be posting the roach pictures on travel websites like trip advisor and expedia. I feel after this experience it is appropriate.
