Perfectly located for those wanting to explore the best of the Columbia Valley, our suite offers a relaxing retreat with all the comforts of home. Gather around the outdoor fire pit and enjoy a warm evening under the stars. The cozy living area includes a Smart TV with cable and a selection of board games. Bring your furry friend along - our unit is pet-friendly, so they can come on your mountain getaway.

FULL KITCHEN
The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm (should you so desire!) Please note that this kitchen does not have a dishwasher.

- BBQ tongs
- Coffee maker (Drip)
- Crockpot/slow cooker
- Fridge/freezer, electric BBQ, stove, oven, microwave, and a toaster.

LAUNDRY
This unit features an ensuite washer/dryer with laundry pods and dryer sheets for your use.


CONSUMABLES
Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay.


ADDITIONAL AMENITIES
- 24/7 Assistance: Our goal is to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We do not live on the property, but you can reach us 24/7 via text if you need us for any reason.


PARKING
You will have access to half of the driveway (left side) with space for up to 2 vehicles. The other half (right side) is dedicated to the upstairs guests.


BUS TRANSPORTATION
There's a bus stop very close to the property for easy access to multiple destinations across the Columbia Valley.


CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.

We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there's something you need during your stay with us.


When you stay here, you'll be close to:

James Chabot Beach (6-minute drive): Here you’ll find plenty of picnic tables for eating with the family, shallow water, making it perfect for swimming with the kids and ample space to launch a kayak or stand-up paddle board.

Radium Hot Springs (16-minute drive): Take a dip in the hot springs and relax while soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling brand new. An experience you won’t want to miss.

The Whiteway/Kinsmen Beach (11-minute drive):  A 30km multi-use trail groomed for both cross-country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the world’s longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Panorama Mountain Resort/Greywolf Golf Course (25-minute drive): In the winter, enjoy the top-ranked mountain resort for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country adventures & more. In the summer, try out mountain biking or enjoy their world-renowned course. Ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada, perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains, this is a must for any golf enthusiast. Also close by are Windermere Valley Golf Course, The Ridge at Copper Point & Eagle Ranch Golf Course.

The Farmer’s Market (9-minute drive): Enjoy shopping for fresh produce and local specialties every Saturday morning this summer at our town’s local market.

Lake Louise (90-minute drive): In just an hour and a half, along the scenic Kootenay Highway, you'll find yourself at one of Canada's most iconic monuments. Lake Louise is known for its turquoise waters, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks & overlooked by the stately Fairmont chateau. Hiking trails wind up to the Lake Agnes Tea House for bird's-eye views. There's a canoe dock in summer and a skating rink on the frozen lake in winter. The Lake Louise Ski Resort features a wildlife interpretive center at the top of a gondola.


**Please note that this is a lower-level unit, and the entirely separate upstairs unit is not included in the rental. **


To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, and pass through our verification portal.

Important note: The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
* You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
* You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
* You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.


HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.

2. Neither parties nor events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed more than 4 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. Although pets are permitted on the property we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest's name on the reservation.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. Any items that are mistakenly left behind that you wish to have returned will be shipped via Cash on Delivery along with a $30.00 admin fee.

7. Guests must confirm current fire bans prior to using the fire pit. Any tickets issued for fires during a fire ban will be billed directly to the main renter on file for the respective date(s).

Work vacation

Olive & Onyx was major factor in our business trip to Invermere being enjoyable. Having a “home away from home” to stay in, rather than a hotel, was wonderful.The accommodation was nice & clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for making “home-cooked” meals (so much nicer than having to eat at restaurants daily, on the road). The beds were comfortable, with quality bedding provided. The air conditioning was Amazing after long days of working outdoors. The location was perfect: close enough to grocery stores etc, but far enough to be nice & quiet. I would stay here again & recommend it to others.
