PARKING
You will have access to half of the driveway (left side) with space for up to 2 vehicles. The other half (right side) is dedicated to the upstairs guests.
BUS TRANSPORTATION
There`s a bus stop very close to the property for easy access to multiple destinations across the Columbia Valley.
CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.
We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there`s something you need during your stay with us.

James Chabot Beach (6-minute drive): Here you’ll find plenty of picnic tables for eating with the family, shallow water, making it perfect for swimming with the kids and ample space to launch a kayak or stand-up paddle board.
Radium Hot Springs (16-minute drive): Take a dip in the hot springs and relax while soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling brand new. An experience you won’t want to miss.
The Whiteway/Kinsmen Beach (11-minute drive): A 30km multi-use trail groomed for both cross-country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the world’s longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Panorama Mountain Resort/Greywolf Golf Course (25-minute drive): In the winter, enjoy the top-ranked mountain resort for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country adventures & more. In the summer, try out mountain biking or enjoy their world-renowned course. Ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada, perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains, this is a must for any golf enthusiast. Lake Louise (90-minute drive): In just an hour and a half, along the scenic Kootenay Highway, you`ll find yourself at one of Canada`s most iconic monuments. Lake Louise is known for its turquoise waters, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks & overlooked by the stately Fairmont chateau. Hiking trails wind up to the Lake Agnes Tea House for bird`s-eye views. There`s a canoe dock in summer and a skating rink on the frozen lake in winter. The Lake Louise Ski Resort features a wildlife interpretive center at the top of a gondola.

Work vacation
Olive & Onyx was major factor in our business trip to Invermere being enjoyable. Having a “home away from home” to stay in, rather than a hotel, was wonderful.The accommodation was nice & clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for making “home-cooked” meals (so much nicer than having to eat at restaurants daily, on the road). The beds were comfortable, with quality bedding provided. The air conditioning was Amazing after long days of working outdoors. The location was perfect: close enough to grocery stores etc, but far enough to be nice & quiet. I would stay here again & recommend it to others.

Invermere Stay
Overall stay was good. Had no way of controlling the AC as far as I could see. It was cold in the apartment. Did not have hot water for a shower. Had it fully on hit and only had lukewarm water for maybe a minute the rest of the shower was very cold.

We stayed at this location in August 2025. Overall stay was ok. Check-in, communication with the host, overall space, and location were great! The apartment was a bit cool but the host provided a heater in the living room and a space heater for each bedroom which were in the closets. One bed was super comfortable, but the other mattress was extremely hard and stiff. It was nice having dishes and pots available for cooking, however not all dishes were clean. The stove was somewhat rusty but workable. I know this is a pet friendly place, but we would have preferred if all the dog hair would have been cleaned off the couch. Also, I’m hoping to get my deposit back. It’s 14 days today and I haven’t received it yet.

The dishes in the cabinets were dirty, I had to rewash wash each dish before we used it. There was dust on the window ledges and on the heaters. Grime on the bathtub shelves and in the bathtub as well. This property is not maintained and is not reflective of the pictures posted in the ad. There is damage on the fridge which is not reflected in the listing. There is property management company who is in charge of maintaining this property. It is clearly not maintained, I reported the issues as I came across them and they didn’t really bother to do much about it even though I reported it all to them. I ended paying full price for staying in what seemed like a cheap and bad motel experience. The washer was not working and they fixed it on the last night of my 4 night stay. The stove was dirty and the cleaner couldn’t get all the grease off the stove. Don’t bother with renting this place, so not worth the hassle.
