Your coastal retreat nestled on a tranquil lot in West Beach area of Oak Island. Our beautifully updated 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers the perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm. We are ideally located between breathtaking ocean views and the ever-tranquil Montgomery Slough. Reel Serenity is designed for guests looking to slow down, reconnect, enjoy the coast, and with just about 200 steps from our driveway to beach access, you’re never far from the sand and surf!

Welcome in the natural sunlight as it filters through the sky lights our open concept living room and kitchen. This part of the home creates an unforgettable gathering space for making memories and meals. The kitchen is beautifully curated with a large island that offers plenty of bar seating. We have everything you need for your culinary experience. From abundant cookware, knives, cutting boards, serving plates and dishes, to plenty of silverware, and glassware. Enjoy the Keurig and drip coffee maker for your morning cup of coffee. There is also an electric tea kettle in the pantry for your tea needs. For your convenience we also offer a highchair and a booster seat for your little ones. We want our home to feel like the kind of space that you can settle into from the moment you arrive!

🌊 Location
Oak Island offers a unique southward facing shoreline of nearly 10 miles, because of its location beachgoers can enjoy magnificent views of both the sunrise and sunset over the same ocean all on the same stretch of sand. One of the things our guests love about Oak Island is that each area of the island has its own unique atmosphere and experience. These areas are called East Beach, Middleton, and West Beach.

Our home is in the West Beach area. It is the westernmost point of the island and known for its less crowded atmosphere, coastal vegetation and open surroundings. Keep an eye out and you’ll often spot wildlife. From soaring pelicans to the occasional deer passing through our serene setting allows for a natural untouched coastal escape. A short 1 minute drive from our home will bring you to a Public Waterway access. This spot is perfect for fishing, kayaking, or paddleboarding. Take a 4-minute drive down to the end of the island famously known as The Point. This area offers stunning sunset views and is where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Intracoastal Waterway. This tidal inlet offers amazing panoramic views. It is also an excellent area for shelling, fishing, and sunset nights with permit approved bonfires.

When you’re ready to explore more check out Middleton Park which is a convenient 1.5 miles away offering grocery shopping, restaurant options, local shops, seasonal farmers market, and concerts.

East Beach also known as the Yaupon/Long Beach area is the busier bustling part of our town. This area is home to two fishing piers, restaurants, shops, and easy access to oceanfront activities. East beach is also a convenient 4.5 miles from our home, so you still get that “away from it all” feeling while still being conveniently close to everything you need.

◇ Private deck off the upstairs queen bedroom leading to the crow’s nest, where you can take in ocean views, coastal breezes, and unforgettable sunsets
◇ Comfy seating area underneath the home complete with string lighting for summer nights

Our home comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests

◇ Queen bedroom (Upstairs) with private deck + crow’s nest access. This room also features a brand-new corner armoire and a smart TV
◇ Queen bedroom (Downstairs) features a smart TV, ample closet space, and desk area for remote work
◇ Bunk room (Downstairs) featuring a twin over twin bunk set and a full over full bunk set w/ a twin trundle pull out bed. This space is perfect for kids and teens
*Linens are provided for all main beds, with top bunks left unmade for flexibility. Please note the trundle, twin air mattress, and pack ’n play do NOT include sheets; a comforter is provided for the trundle.
