Maison moderne à Casco, ME a vue sur Parker Pond et 160 pieds de front de mer. Le lac est clair, propre et parfait pour la baignade et la navigation de plaisance. La propriété a un quai, canoë et kayak. Maison a plafond cathédrale et grande terrasse. 3 étages, une cheminée du sol au plafond, 4 chambres. Situé sur une route isolée entre chêne et pin.

Étage principal
Le salon-salle à manger et la cuisine sont à aire ouverte avec plafond cathédrale, puits de lumière et grande cheminée en pierre. Les portes en verre donnent sur le pont et le lac. Le pont a deux tables pour manger et des escaliers vers le chemin du lac. La platine a des haut-parleurs du système stéréo. Master BR avec lit queen a des portes vitrées sur le pont et l'entrée de LR et de salle de bain complète. Unité de fenêtre AC.
Cuisine moderne avec lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur avec machine à glaçons, cuisinière électrique à induction, four micro-ondes, grille-pain, robot culinaire Cuisinart, casserole instantanée, mixeur, entièrement équipée avec matériel de cuisine et couverts. Barbecue à gaz sur le pont.

2 chambres une avec lit queen, une avec lit double; salle de bain complète; le hall et la galerie donnent sur le puits de lumière du salon. Unité AC dans une chambre, ventilateurs dans l'autre chambre.

The home was very spacious and clean....perfect for our family getaway! Loved both the indoor screened deck as well as the outdoor deck. It was great to have a dock that fit 4 chairs and loved using the kayak and floating in the warm clean water! Firepit was a nice way to end our evenings. The home was well equipped with everything you would need and then some! Would definitely go back and recommend to others looking for a relaxing vacation!

Peaceful serenity!!

Our first trip to visit Boston, New Hampshire and Maine. This lakefront home was perfect for us. Although we spent most day’s driving to see all the sights, early morning and evening were great to watch the sun come up and set. House supplied all our needs. Dock was great place to watch geese and ducks and beautiful sunsets. This was a bucket list to visit these three states and drive to all the villages, hamlets and towns along the way. We had an awesome time.

Beautiful property and a gorgeous lake

My family spent a week here, and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the home, on the lake and in the region. The home is just right for a family of 4, with the screened-in deck room a game-changer for meals and games outside without the bugs. We ate almost every meal out there. We've been to many lakes, and this was perhaps the best for swimming, with clear, warm water. The loons are fun to listen to in the evening. The surrounding towns have plenty of dining and entertainment for adults with 10-12 year olds. Check in and check out was a breeze. The owner was accessible before and during the stay, although we had no need to contact him. Thanks for a great week.

Misleading reviews & photos

Owner was great to deal with BUT - - - we were shocked @ the overall filth in the kit & the condition of the linens. We spent the 1st 3 hrs clng &/or covering furniture & went to the store to replace pillows & facecloths that were not usable. We also were not prepared for the steepness between the parking area & the cottage which made unloading a full SUV very difficult - too steep! Sorry Marc!!!

This is a surprising comment. I invite readers to check all the other comments about the house and make their own judgment about how clean our house is or how negotiable the steps are. As for cleanliness, I can note that this couple had no complaints when I showed them the house at their arrival or when I emailed them two days later. The house had just been professionally cleaned before their arrival and was in tip top shape. The bedding is very new and 100% high quality cotton. Likewise, for the towels and facecloths. They are what we and all our other guests have used. Regarding steps my wife and I are in our mid-sixties and negotiate the steps without problems. Granted, this couple appeared to be much older, and apparently they had packed a great deal. Another odd thing happened with this rental. The couple spent a part of their vacation replacing several perfectly functional items (a shower head, pillows, new rubber gloves!) with things they bought, sometimes less functional and poor quality. After they left, we had to look around the house to find and put back our own things. My family and I like the house so much that we spend most of our summers here and rent it only a few weeks a year when we cannot be here. It does not have the look or feel of a rental property. Rather, it is furnished and equipped as a real home with love and taste and high quality materials. Again, dear readers, read what other say and decide. Vacationers who want the beauty and charm of a lake front house with dock and boats combined with the conveniences of modern home (internet, DVD, Hi-FI inside and on deck, induction stove, etc.) will be pleased with what they find here.

Great home on a quiet lake

Our family enjoyed this comfortable home overlooking a quiet lake, a perfect location for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. When not in the water, we enjoyed family meals on the large deck with a view of the lake. The house was well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, reading, and relaxing. We are from Maine and wouldn't hesitate to book this home again.

We took Four 18 yr olds to Maine. Loved the pond and kayaks plus close enough to get time on the coast. Owner very responsive. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location and great cabin

Everything about this house was easy. Mark was very communicative, the proximity to snowshoeing and skiing was great, and the house has everything you'd need. It's not a fancy place but we're basic people so it was exactly what we were looking for. Plenary of room, kitchen well stocked, washer dryer, beautiful fireplace. Quiet off a dirt road, plenty of snow, plowing provided. A really enjoyable stay. Thanks Mark.

Great peaceful place

We really enjoyed staying at Marc's place. Great communication and very relaxing there. Enjoyed several hikes in nearby towns. While we were fine with it, the place is a little hilly and I can see how some elderly people would have some problems.

Terrific spot for family vacation

Nothing better than a lakeside vacation for a family! The lake is peaceful, water is warm, boats provided are plentiful, and view is fantastic with great sunset viewing from the deck. The house is well furnished and doesn't feel at all like a rental. There was plenty of room for 3 couples ( parents and married adult children) to have space to themselves, and space to share. Game night in front of the stone fireplace was another highlight, as was s'mores over the firepit. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Peaceful week in Maine, amazing home

This is our 3rd visit to this property in 4-5 years. We have always been so happy with the accommodations. You can tell that the owners really care about the house and its amenities. There were upgrades since our last visit two years ago. -- Beautiful landscaping with herbs and vegetables and flowers. -- A new induction stove (which took some time for me to figure out how to cook- not the operation of it, but how to alter my recipes). -- double kayak This pond is immaculate and we were in it every day. It was really calming to get away from the troubles in the world- if only for a week. Everyone on the pond was friendly. Given COVID-19, we prepared all of our meals (and cocktails) at the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils, pots and pans etc. I highly recommend this rental. It is very clean, cared for and we did not want for anything. The owner was very detailed in how to work everything and where everything we needed was in the house. He was very responsive and easy to interact with. Another amazing week. Thanks!

Good stay

Marc is very responsive and frankly the pictures of the property do not do it justice. We had a great time and it is a very serene neighborhood. Some insect issues in and around the house, but to be expected as it is very woodsy. Hoping to stay here again next year.

Perfect Maine Vacation

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed and more. The lake was beautiful. We swam, fished and kayaked every day. The owner responded to questions quickly and was clear about policies/procedures. It was obvious he put a lot of thought into his renters comfort.

Stress reliever vacation

Our stay at this location in 2017 was so incredible that we booked again in 2018. Amazing location, beautiful water and a home that has every amenity. This property was very comfortable, clean and accessible and the neighbors sharing the pond were all very friendly and considerate. The home and deck and dock were all well cared for too. We were in and on the water every day. We were treated to a meteor shower in the pitch black sky at night and saw hawks and eagles during the day. Be sure to check out Mosquito Ice Cream on Roosevelt Trail and for nice pottery and fun artwork head a little further west to Hole in the Wall Studio. Another great week in Maine.

Peaceful and beautiful

We all had a wonderful time. My husband enjoyed the fishing and I enjoyed watching the loons, dragon flies and enjoyed the quietness of the area. The house fit all our needs and was very comfortable.

Lovely Lakefront

This is a lovely property on a quiet road, providing a satisfying blend of rustic lakefront living 'in the woods' and all the convenience of a warm, modern home. The siting on the sloped terrain places the home lower than the road and higher than the lake with mature trees surrounding it on all sides. This offers a meaningful sense of visual privacy which was fundamental to my enjoyment. The floating dock area has trees on both sides which overhang the water, again offering a sense of visual privacy in which to the enjoy the beautiful sunsets and spectacular Common Loons on the lake. Parker Pond is quite small without many power boats and no public boat launch, giving it a pleasing sense of intimacy. The house has a well-stocked kitchen and offers everything required for a rich vacation including a kayak, canoe and firewood. The two-story living space and skylights provide an uplifting interior space while the large deck offers a wonderful place to enjoy the morning air. The glass doors in the Master Bedroom provided the same visual access to the lake as the living space enjoys and gloriously allowed the voices of the Loons to touch my sleep. Marc was very pleasant to work with as an owner and was promptly responsive to all communications. Intermittent noise from the neighboring properties did interrupt my bucolic impression of peace and isolation every now and then and, personally, I did not find the master bed to be comfortable but the abundance of wonderful features of this property overwhelmingly countered any small issues and I would gladly return - my days there were wonderfully restorative and I reveled in the whole sweet time. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect week away

Owner was nice to work with. Home was tidy, clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. Bedrooms were spacious. Location was perfect, secluded yet 15 min from everything. Water view was beautiful, sunrise was peaceful, sunsets were enjoyable, loons were comical. Only disappointment was we had to leave!
